Ngon's creations gone from workshop

While I don't play much in C:S (don't wanna start over with a new ton of mods) I saw some of Ngon's assets and they look incredibly good! But, it's a shame that he deleted all of them (and from the game unintentionally or intentionally). A similar thing happened with Gobias from the sc4 community but he didn't recieve hate comments that much (Never announced that hate hurt him after or beforehand) and they didn't disappear from the game, but it was a devastating blow and I'm sad I didn't grab them sooner, however, I'll get into another example. I'm unsure what his hate comments were like, but if his comments were like: "Hey, I liked this but one the building looks a little more of a house than a municipal soccer building. And the texture for the pavement could use a little work. It's still great though!" Example no. 1 ^ now no. 2 v "dude, your "creations" suck and you as a person are horrible, we have enough baseball fields, ugh just delete your account" Now, example 2 is a stupid, non-constructive, terrible comment. You gain nothing from it other than he thinks there are too much baseball fields. Never say that to a creator who makes stuff, FOR FREE!. Sadly, many say the such to creators. But example 1 is a legitimate constructive criticism, and he means no harm and says it's still good twice through the whole review. Multiple creators find certain advice such as "one building is a bit more of a house than so and so" as personal preference and an "insulting review". Reviews ARE personal preference, and if it's constructive, pull up your boots (either way really) and continue to improve. Some people over-privilege creators (Not to say they don't deserve their merit, they work hard, and I appreciate that) and after a hundred five gold stars one bit of criticism come along, constructive or stupid, and it's a great blow to some to the point they'll stop uploading, etc. Ngon definitely was a great creator, but you need to realize in a big community, people have different opinions, and you need to trudge through the mud. There are no shortcuts, and I hope he changes his mind one day. -

Helloooooooo! This wouldn't have been possible without inspiration from CorinaMarie, a fantastic simtrop member. Her way of using cloud grayscales was how i made this. File includes: Config.bmp Greyscale Sc4mapper file readme on terms of use, and how to put this in SimCity 4 (not just pasting it into folder, theres a process!) History: Krampa DeSimmia is a micronation that archaeologists found to be the site of multiple meteorite, meteor, asteroid, etc. attacks. It is high up in cliffs and is very eroded. mayor (your name if you downloaded this) has taken it upon himself to develop it, Can he do it?! Thing not mentioned in readme: lowkee addons were the cliff addons, transparent water, snow and increases elevation, danke!!! -

if you ever need any islands to recreate, tinos in greece (or maybe you did greece again, but it was only athens i think?) has some pretty villages, and really beautiful hill ranges and the plain near falatados! I've already done pretty much everything Greece has to offer here and here - Athens, Santorini, Meteora, Delphi, Myrtos Beach - so probably no more Greece updates, sorry. But thanks for the suggestion. -korver

Welcome to Leira! We are back with the landzone of Zagubiony (Zag-gwee-buh-nee) (commentary from noah included) Here we have a mountain range, part of the province "Newt uśmiech przejść Vích" Which lasts to the end of the province. The previous landzone, Sognefest, is part of the same province. (whoever knows polish can enjoy the botched google translate, however, feel free to use google translate to figure out the meaning of the name to non-polish speakers like me) We'll start with the castle, aptly named "Zamek Castle", it's architecture is great enough to not need any reconstruction, and it's the capital building for Zagubiony. (yes it's called castle castle) Oddly shaped ruins, all of these ruins are mysterious, though war and natural disasters are theorized. (yay ruins) The one thing about these ruins that could be uncovered was it's name: "Inny świat" (i cant mmp paths in ruins, also, at time of writing this, multiple sirens of police, ambulance, and firefighting kind happened in background, dunno why) At the shoreline and base of the mountain, it's a massive old miniature. "Vuoltu". (no comment here, so many sirens, it's like santa's riding by) Closeup! (i dont think this was half bad, was it?) Closer closeup! (closeup-ception get!) Windmills! (sorry they all move without differentiation, unless that's good for windmills.)\ More ruins, "Sysma". had a very early version of a hospital! ( yalurr ha ha!!!! ) Early docks at end of Sysma. Farming miniature of Dronningmolle. (who remembers farmville?) More of Dronningmolle. (ahh, farmville was the good ol' times.) Windmills, peek at some residential, and beginning of the miniature Lakkendrup. (i had many fond memories.) It appears that our files were corrupted, yet only two pics were destroyed. Sorry! Also, to the person who asked about the ruins: We'll keep you posted, archaeologists are digging up new stuff everyday! Seeya next time everybody! (sorry two pics were borked by bad photographing, seeya later everybody oh and oops grid)
