    I know there is a way you can enable Topographical Lines in SC4. I just can't remember how to do it. They are like Contour Lines.

    but wait what about taking the old 32 bit files from an older version of macOS to a version of macOS Catalina or newer. Catalina dropped support for 32 bit applications does that include files that are written to be 32 bit or does the OS or the game update then.

    My region since I started this one in 2015 has always been a Left Hand Driving Region. I notice that the traffic signals face the wrong way on my roads. Is there a way to fix to make them face the right way to suit my LHD cities?? Or is this something that is just hard coded in the game?

    I'm not really sure what you are asking? Are you talking about terraforming ?? or are you talking about refreshing the thumbnail?? Sometimes especially with the Large City tiles , it will not have a thumbnail when you save it where it will just appear blank. What I've found is holding the shift button seems to work sometimes.

  6. I've come back to SimCity 4 after not playing it for a few years. I'd wanted to play but didn't have the space to have the asset files on my computer. I believe I last played with NAM 37 or 38. At times I understand what Will Wright meant when he said SimCity had worked itself into a corner and had gotten to complex. At times I feel this way with the NAM with all the new stuff and have thought maybe its time to just move on to City Skylines. I however have been trying to learn the RHW. The NAM makes me dizzy at times with how complex it has gotten with all the stuff in it. I however want to learn to use a lot of this stuff. I'd like to know what has changed since I last played with it. I know at one point you couldn't do much with diagonals with RHW. I don't know if that has changed. I would like to ask for guidance from the community to learn all this new stuff. Its just really confusing knowing where to start.

    That would be really nice. SimCity 4 is older than half of the people on the internet. SimCity 4 still has so many issues that can cause it to be unstable and crash.. It would be nice if we as a community would be able to fix those issues like they did with OpenRCT2.

    @Takingyouthere Well this is one of them. This is my favourite track from Common Ground. I had thought that it wasn't going to get an A&B Club Mix. I hope it gets remixes. So much good stuff comes out of the ABGT milestone shows.

  14. Game Data for Steam Version

    I am a Mac user however I play this game on Windows. However I do have it installed on Mac. What you wanna do is click on the finder icon, click on the Go menu and press the option key. The Library option will appear, you will want to go to "Application Support" , then Steam , then Steamapps then Common then SimCity 4 Deluxe. You will find the SCIV app file. What you will want to do is control click on this and select Show Package contents. You will see Content , you click on that You will see three folders GameData , MacOS and Resources. Much of the games files are in GameData. You will find that some differences from the Windows version like that the opening movies are in .mov files in the video folder. You can replace these videos with what ever you want as long as they have the same file names as the originals they will play. One difference from the windows version is when you check the custom tunes box it cues up iTunes rather than playing what ever additional music you have added to those two music folders.
  15. It would help by planting trees, building parks , building futbal fields to give your sims a place to play. I suggest also grabbing the Grass tile mod that makes grass tiles maintenance free. like Cori said, usually the demand on the vanilla graph caps at 6k , however yours caps at 24k. You've got to have some kind of demand mod in your plugins folder. I'd suggest you look thru your files and see if you can find the mod that is augmenting your game like that.

    Like building tunnels you need to have a steep enough slope. Try using the hole digger lots to make the edges steeper.

    So two milestones here first city in my region to hit 200k and my region population crossed 1.7mil. This city is probably the most dense city in my region.

    I passed 15 years on this site last month, I first started coming here when the site had the green sign with a dark background that showed the number of members. Been playing SimCity 4 since the month it first came out in January 2003.

    Another issue with the premade vanilla regions is the slopes of much of them can be very difficult or even impossible to build on if you have a slope mod.
