An old stone church perfect for a rural or suburban setting. Based loosely on St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Jaffrey, NH, the church is built of stone with a slate roof. The lot is a 2x4 ploppable landmark and has seasonal trees. It costs $12,000 to plop and has a monthly cost of $240. Dependencies: the lot uses seasonal trees from BSC MEGA Props CP Vol 02. -
The Bora Bora overview is breathtaking – especially the different hues of blue owing to the seafloor elevation. Beautiful!

I love the mega mosaic – it's cool to see the urban/rural transition! -
I'm not entirely sure where the plugins folder should be; try searching for "SimCity 4 Deluxe" in Finder and it should bring up the folder somewhere in the search results. EDIT: disregard the above, the Plugin folder for the Mac app store version is located within the application. Not sure how to help with that. Aside from this, note that the Extra Cheats DLL will not work with SimCity 4 for Mac. Many plugins downloadable from this site are compatible with the Mac version. However, DLL plugins, including this one, are not.

After playing on windows for many years, I have found myself in a situation where I now only have access to a mac computer. I have a copy of the aspyr mac port on disc but sadly it proves impossible to install on El Capitan (the Universal Binary Patch installer is incompatible with El Capitan). This brings me to the crossroads where I must choose between the steam version and app store version to get a copy for my mac. The app store edition sits at an enticing $9.99 whereas the steam edition costs $19.99, $10 more. From what I have gathered in this forum, the steam version is generally preferred because of "problems" with the app store version – namely some need to move around directories for proper implementation of plugins and the terrible concept of "sandboxing" which I don't entirely understand. My question: is it really worth the extra $$ to purchase the steam version? I intend to play relatively frequently so if the app store version significantly compromises the playability of the game, then I would be willing to pay.

Nice pictures! You have great skill in blending maxis buildings and custom content. Can't wait to see more! -
@Urban Constanta Ernestmaxis's new Dutch MMP set looks like it contains some of these. https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=3493 Chariots: https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2994 More chariots: https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2862

From what you described it sounds like this has something to do with MMLs. According to the download description, this mod contains an MML lot, which is a lot that must be plopped in your city before the other lots in this set will appear in the park menu. Generally, MMLs are included for sets like this to prevent menu clutter while you aren't using the set. If you don't have the MML lot for this set placed in your city, place it and run the simulation for a couple of months, and the other lots should appear in the parks menu. The drawback to MMLs is that each time you want to plop a copy of a lot in the set, you will have to reselect that lot in the parks menu. I think this is because MMLs use the rewards function in the game. However, this should not interfere with your ability to plop each lot multiple times, as long as you go back into the parks menu and reselect it each time. If this doesn't work or sounds like too much of a hassle, you may be able to delete the MML file from your plugins. Once you are finished plopping your river, you can bulldoze the MML lot and the lots will disappear from the parks menu while the ones that you have already placed will still remain functional.

@madhatter106 Here are a couple more. The first has Saguaro cacti; I think the second has some kind of scrubbier Prickly Pear.

I use flickr – 1 TB of free storage. As @Haljackey pointed out it's a bit of a hassle to get the direct link but I find that it's just a small price to pay.

@Yarahi Thank you! @aciaKa I think that set of fences actually appears in the water utilities menu, not the parks menu.

From the album Winter Wonderland (S3-21-M)
The Iditarod is a dog sled race that runs every March from Anchorage to Nome, Alaska. Traversing the Alaskan wilderness, the trail takes mushers and their teams of dogs through 1,049 miles of tundra and spruce forest and harsh weather conditions. This scene depicts a camp at a checkpoint along the route. Straw has been laid out on the snow for the sled dogs to provide insulation as they rest. Mushers gather to restock essential supplies that will tie them over until they reach their next checkpoint. Snow still coats the trees, attesting to the severe cold that prevents melting even in the middle of the day under full sun. Full-sized image in the first comment.- 3 Comments

Hi everyone, I'm looking for an extended subway to elevated rail transition (one that is longer than the vanilla one). I can't for the life of me find it but I know it's out there somewhere. I think it's about six tiles long but I'm not certain. Thanks for any pointers

Only small industry buildings growing
rathefalcon replied to olegario39's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
@olegario39 I could be totally wrong, but I think some of the larger industrial buildings may require water to grow as well (or at least they may grow more readily with water). Maybe try adding some pipes if your zones aren't watered yet. -

Beautiful! I really like how you used the industrial fillers to expand the brewery and freight station. And the diagonal fillers of course make everything look so seamless
