In the beginning... This CJ is based in Greater Manchester! Using that amazing new and huge region that has been made. It includes the whole of Manchester and the surrounding area down to Northwich! This entry is the first and follows development in Manchester city centre. The idea of this CJ is not to make a replica of Manchester, I'm sure I could do, but I work there and live just outside the place so find it pretty boring haha. I'm making a city that is based on it using familiar names etc... The undeveloped south part of the region... A view of Manchester from the region... Transport view... Overview... I'll try to update as often as I can, but I'm pretty busy with work atm
  3. Before we get started with the first ever update, please enjoy some Miss A Alright, now let's get started! Today, we'll be sticking to downtown Kita Port. Kita Port has always been known for being original and creative. A man-made island was installed into this vacant space downtown! It was at a high cost, but surely made history seeing as it is a memorial to the late Masako Kobayashi, former head of Kita Port and first female head. This is a closer look at Kobayashi Island and the surrounding downtown area during a typical weekday. It's not uncommon for citizens of Kita Port to speak several languages. Here you can see the diversity that Kita Port has acquired over the past decades. Above, you see the Arakaki- the tallest structure within the city limits of Kita Port, and one of the tallest buildings on the island. It was completed in 2003 is named after Araraki Inc., one of the most successful companies to come from the city of Kita Port. People of Kita Port are heading home now, and you probably should too! See you next time Please comment and rate if you enjoyed! -Tastycakes

Ganton's history is a big one.The mayor,Carl Peterson, wanted to develop the small village. So,he decided to build apartament blocks in the centre of the village.Then.bigger and bigger buildings appeared, until in the day of August 30 2003,a 34 floors tall skyscraper was proposed for construction. The tallest tower at that moment was the Richman Bank Building,a 20 floors tall structure. One day, an earthquake measuring 7.1 on the Richter scale struck the city. 5.000 were injured. The under-construction skyscraper was destroyed.Ganton was in ruins! The citty recovered in 2010,when 12 residential proposals were approved for construction in Bayside District. After the buildings were finished, the population increased dramatically. It reached 200.000 inhabitants. After that, the Central City District begun to be developed and glass buildings were built. Then, the city growed more. This was the history of this city!More coming soon!!!

  7. This is my connecting airport to my palm coast city. It is a small to medium sized international airport with medium sized aircraft. It features a main terminal with two separate concourses, a decent sized cargo area, a train station, one long runway with a complex system of taxiways, a large control tower, as well as the surrounding city ready to be built. Please feel free to comment for questions and feed back. I will be open to your ideas and maybe ill feature them in my cities. >>>Also apologize because it would not let me upload more than these three pictures.<<<

  9. . Today we visit Portland, the largest city in the region of south (at the moment) The city is a major port town, in fact thats how it was founded. Over the years it slowly grew out from the peninsula and into the surrounding farmland, Its down town is very dense as well as its north coast area. Most of its power comes from offshore wind turbines near the northern half of the city. It has a larger railway station and a large industrial base. Today we will journey around the city to see sight, and stay for the night. Here we are going through a industrial zone just after entering the city. We continue on and see this nice park, which is called The Flags park. A rougher area. Here we begin to drive along the beach front. We stop here to look at the beach. Oh! but what's this it seams to be the turbines. We should take a closer look. And still going along the beach, here is the tri tower beach condo's. The Portland bay lighthouse. Okay turning back now, we head down Dunsmuir Ave, some other time we will head farther north. Here we are again, but now we will go south. Down south Dunsmuir Ave, by the old school. Here is the port of Portland. It is now time to turn down Main road which will lead us to Downtown. The station. We travel by condo's and office towers. The road splits up here right at Summers square, named after the city founder and great explorer, it is a nice place to stop for a bit. Summers Square. Ah this will be our hotel for our stay here. At the end of the peninsula there is Portland city park. Just a aerial view. Walking around a bit we find this old historic building with a nice cafe in it. The lovely waterfront is a nice place to spend the day. More of City park. Thats all for today, next time we visit the rest of town.

On the swampy bank of the Livingston River arose a nation's capital who's splendor and design have captivated many.
  10. With the aid of her rather apathetic ally Chief Mole Vole of Vole Atoll, Nancy Pelosi-Groundsquirrel’s city the Isle of Mouse has become a center of trade and commerce in southern Rodentia. The unemployment rate is down (including those who have dropped out of the workforce) and both the public and private sectors report productivity is up (although this may be because of the new and wildly popular “Bring-Your-Rodent-To-Work Day” program held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays). At 6,128 residents, Isle of Mouse has become second only to Squirrelton in population. Out of obligation, curiosity, and a vague sense of feeling threatened, Mayor Michael Nutter of Squirrelton traveled to Isle of Mouse to offer a resentment-tinged congrats to his fellow mayor Nancy-Pelosi-Goundsquirrel this week. As pictured in the Isle of Mouse Tribune, mayors Michael Nutter of Squirrelton (who seems to be breaking the forth wall) and Nancy Pelosi-Groundsquirrel of Isle of Mouse discuss the governing of Rodentia. Although the Rodentian leaders may look an awful lot like the current mayor of Philadelphia, PA and House Minority Leader of the 112th US Congress, Isle of Mouse’s Center for Paranormal and Normal Rodent Studies assures us that the two who exist in the United States are actually doppelgangers of their Rodentian counterparts. An aerial view of Isle of Mouse. While the mayors were on a boat tour of the city, there was a graphics glitch on one of the passenger ferries but Mayor Nutter tactfully chose to not mention it. Pictured below are the three most profitable stores in all of Rodentia. The islet of Isle of Mouse is home to an exclusive yacht club. “This is where my yacht The Minnie is docked,” Nancy Pelosi-Goundsquirrel noted to Mayor Nutter. “Say, where’s yours?” Michael Nutter mumbled an unintelligible reply and quickly changed the subject to the status of municipal bonds. Seeking to make up for her previous disregard for sports, Nancy Pelosi-Groundsquirrel was quick to show Michael Nutter the new football field, home to the Isle of Mouse’s High School’s football team The Mighty Fleabags. Pleased, Mayor Nutter predicted many good match ups between The Mighty Fleabags and Squirrelton High’s Fighting Squirrels. As evening drew near, Mayor Nutter stopped into a tattoo parlor along the boardwalk and impulsively got an “I Heart Rodentia” tattoo on his left forearm. Much to Mayor Nutter’s delight, the aviary (pictured below left) hosts an impressively-sized flying squirrel colony. Mayors Pelosi-Groundsquirrel and Nutter were going end the visit by taking a night tour of Isle of Mouse via helicopter. At the last second, Pelosi-Goundsquirrel flaked, citing an unset stomach and slight fever. Disappointed, Mayor Nutter spent the evening eating microwave popcorn in his hotel room and watching The Secret of Nimh. --------------- Credits: SimPeg (MTP, SPAM, OWW, CSK, Pond, Stream, lighthouses, (lots and mayor-mode ploppables)) Murimk’s rocks, ALN Pasture Flora, Cycledogg trees, SFBT trees, Godiva MMPs, HBS Tropical flora, NAM & SAM, Lowkee33’s Appalachian terrain, SHK HD Rock Mod & HD Brigantine 2.0, Riverside Beach Mod, AGS Taylor Field, BATs are from MadHatter, Sim Goober, Cobb Harbor Villiage, GDV Yacht Club, Aviary Dome Park by RafaRivera --------------- Replies: @Paulobergonci: thanks! 13. Had to reformat my HD and unfortunately not all of my cities transferred correctly. Quad City is no longer on the map, neither is Tri City. Glad there is a record of them here. Anyway, thanks to everyone who viewed the journals, and especially to those that left comments. Time to begin a new journal soon.

  14. The sleepy seaside district of Pearl Beach, lies just south of the CBD, whilst the port is farther south on the edge of the bay. the new district of Harman is around the bay to the West, whilst the stinking dump is to the East of the CBD - where all the filth from the whole region is taken daily. There it is mushed and mashed and burned and bashed into fuel for the power stations, garden mulch, recycled things and food for a few million seagulls.
  15. Final Imperial Federal Kingdom nuclear weapons to be decommissioned next month by Gerald Forghat Grandian EM-7 nuclear missile, nicknamed "Valkyrie" FRANCISTOWN, GRAND - After forty-seven years, the Imperial Federal Kingdom's military nuclear program is coming to a close as the official decommissioning ceremony for the last two nuclear weapons is scheduled for October 7th. The first Grandian nuclear weapons test, codenamed Operation Golden Cloud, was detonated on April 1, 1971, after a seven-year program to develop weapons of mass destruction for the Grandian government. It took place in the then-independent Kingdom of Malo, which was a close ally of the Kingdom of Grand. Upon learning of the test, the communist-governed Socialist Republic of Belluterra embarked on its own project to develop equal weapons, but was never able to fully develop nuclear weapons of its own. The last of its biological and chemical stockpiles were destroyed in 2005. "We hope that being the first nation on Adonia to decommission nuclear weapons that we developed ourselves will help to usher in a new era of peace to the globe, and to end the current political unrest worldwide," the IFK Minister of Defense, Roy Redblade, said when asked for comment - referring to the current upheavals taking place in Euphemia, Carreon, and Althena. (see more...) Hedjaz invades Sharan by Ronald Emryich Hedjaz, bordering the Malonese breakaway provinces of Zebtesia and Forgia, is the largest nation in the region APELKOS, MALO - The North-Central Althenan republic of Hedjaz has invaded the Principality of Sharan, a major Acadian trade partner. Hedjaz's prime minister, Yateem Hassan, claims that Sharan is a province of Hedjaz, while certain political analyzers believe that Hasaan invaded Sharan because of its inability to pay ε40 million that had been borrowed to finance a recent war with the Republic of Iras. Few nations have yet made an official statement, but due to Sharan being a major trade partner of Acadia, a forceful intervention by that nation seems to be likely, especially after the passing of the internationally controversial Sovereignty Act, which is viewed by many Grandians to have imperialist tendencies. The Imperial Federal Kingdom, currently involved in its own war in the region, has yet to make a statement on the matter. (see more...) Hello, and the construction of a new world is upon us! The capital is Ianarth and it's right below! Here goes! Contuining on, the small village that grows: (P.S I can only work on this during the weekends) And it just keeps on expanding! And there's no stopping the urban sprawl! It's probably stopped sprawling now, but... There's still more on the horizon! That's as far as I'll go today... EDIT: URGENT!!! Meong and Giau mountain have erupted!!! There's some carnage in Suburbia, but thankfully it's not urgent. But... what happens next time?
  17. Somewhat Discouraging News: The city has mysteriously dumped approximately 1/4 of its population. Strange thing is there is no dilapidation of buildings, nor was there any thing mentioned in the news ticker. Is this normal? On to new growth entries: Welcome C$$$ Andrews' Fashion Center. This is the first time personally seeing this low density lot. Welcome C$$$ Airport Sheraton. Welcome I-HT$$$ Robust Robots. Welcome to downtown C$$$ Embassy Suites. Welcome R$$$ McCormick Place. Thanks for stopping by! :-)
  18. Hey! hope you guys and gals are having a good day! I want to start off by saying that i'm sorry for being gone soo long. And that I really do miss being a part of all this... Also I must mention that this is going to be a slow return due to school and stuff keeping me so busy. But nevertheless here we are! WELCOME to KURODA CASTLE! Kuroda Castle lies just on the edge of the Hejiki mountain range. The mountain range is located along the side off the Hokkodian Capital Ikoshima. you may notice in the top next to the castle is a blocked road. That is where people would go to start their trek through the mountains to get to the city. But in more recent centuries a tunnel has been built and is used for traveling. Kuroda Castle was built back in the early years of the Hokkodian Revolution. Back at the time of its construction the castle was used as a strategic base for Dako Machi and her forces. Due to the location of the castle it provided the Freedom Fighters with great protection when the city was under siege by the Emperor's forces. In the years following the war homes were built for the servants that worked in the caslte. in the 1990's all the homes around the castle were fully restored to there previous beauty. Nowadays Kuroda Castle is mainly used as a tourist attraction, and the home around sell authentic Hokkodian food, clothing, and knickknacks. Thanks for visiting Kuroda Castle and do come again soon! Don't forget, if you like this, please rate, comment, +1, and maybe even follow my CJ! :ducky:
