Welcome to the foothills of Old Palm City where people have beautiful panoramic views of the city and of the valley! Houses run for expensive prices, but it does have some rewards for living up here. Water is hard to get with the desert lifestyle, but is produced by the irrigation canal at the edge of the city and runs through the whole metro area, and this is a source of aqua for farms and people. This area is in a wet spell from all of the rain and is producing green trees and beautiful flowers! Thank you for reading!

  3. Sorry to keep all of you waiting, in terms of SC4 I've mostly been working on parts of the region... I'll just let the region views do the work Region view Region transport view Region map Coming out of Logan, we pass through the corner of Dyfania (terrible name, I know, I had no creativity at the time) This image is slightly touched up A look at Bolovov Expwy at the interchange We then enter the north side of Aurora. We're about to get onto the Turnpike, so get your wallet ready, unless you have GreenPASS The interchange is unique because it used to be a simple parclo with an avenue, and had to be upgraded in the same space Merging with the turnpike. We don't pass under that sign, but I included it to help get a sense of which goes where We're now leaving the Ravenna suburbs and heading into open land As we haven't shown the finished product at H24-Jordan Ave, and I really couldn't bother to make a full update about it, here's the completed area I've also been forced to upgrade portions of the Capital Beltway due to increased traffic. This stretch used to be just a 6C/8C with a short portion having a RHW-4 collector The area after. I tried to avoid seizing as much property as possible, hence the lack of soundwalls. One of the interchanges not shown above. Used to be just a 6C folded diamond. We've added 6 to 10 lanes, which were sorely needed. The SPUI was replaced with an express-local diamond. (I'd preferred to have kept it a SPUI without the express access, but it didn't like the setup very much). Also note the glitch on the bridge (which is in beta!) was fixed Closer look at another of the same bridge Well folks, that's all! I hope you enjoyed this update, and pardon the long break. Thanks for looking!
  4. Sorry guys I'm really to busy in RL to reply so let's get straight in to the entry. I feel truly bad I don't have time to reply, I will reply to everyone in the comment section including the ones from the last entry. So, on to it. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ A residential area in Bayasa City experiencing a large rain shower: As the rain clears up, we view a little agricultural part of Bayasa city, these types of "Island farms" are dotted all over the Bayasan coast: And finally a view of the downtown area of Bayasa City overlooking some slums: _______________________________________________________________________________________________ If you enjoyed this update please rate, comment and/or +1, Thanks, Escilnavia

Welcome to the largest city in Gallaiosio! Quick intro, ive been workign on this for around 2 years slowly but surely and have finally gotten to a point of wanting to show it off Blondon is also the major epicenter of activity in the country! mutiple airports, stadiums and everything in between! Heres a region shot: You can see the major Interstates are black: Running north south is interstate 14 A.K.A. I-14 also the major East West Interstate is I-720 Theres an outer "beltway" I-720-C The major Avenues will be detailed in a later segment For the most part the city is a grid orented city but with ne development on the fringes of the city they are changing this. In this segment we will be starting downtown with a teaser shot Here you can see the "rich" neighborhood just west of the mall The "center" mall just south of downtown The downtown area, Known as the Down Town Improvement District or D.T.I.D. I-14 seperating the "downtown" from the East SIde Finally the industrial side, more commenly known as the "East Side" Here you can also see the clean up effort goin on just next to the interstate to change over the East Side to more commercial uses as the D.T.I.D. As we clean up the area we are moving the industrial areas farther east along the river but set back as to not pollute the river as it is now. Welp thats it for now i hope you enjoy! expect more to come very soon!

National Symbols By at 2012-07-20 History The history of this island in general terms, we can mention that it became a colony, The fight was by the total control of the island, with the italian and spanish power, since the two nations was settled by the Romans and some celtiberians but was long ago, the island began to be populated by Spaniards in the east and south, the Italians north of the island. When the Spanish empire began to fall, the deuterrians felt a sense of nation, they did not feel Italian or Spaniards, they felt the desire to be a nation, and as Latin American countries began their fight for independence, deterrians wasted no time and the struggle for independence was on August 20, 1820, when Spain granted the charter of independence, Italy did not recognize, then Italy claimed the island as his, but made 200 Deuterrian territorial agreements, leaving the own power of the island by the official name of Deuterra, in August 20, 1853. Other historical data: fall of the Deuterrian monarchy in 1892 Deuberian Revolution: January 18, 1929 -Participation to the 2nd World War in support of the Italian axis. Deuberia Annex to the European Union in 1992 --------------------------------------- Every week, we will be showing the most relevant news to happen in Deuterra, and also we know each of the cities that make up this country. We hope you enjoy it, we try to improve the images, and now we show a little of what we will show throughout this CJ. Welcome to Deuterra
  6. This is update will cover the eastern city of Uhnung. In native Chinese Mandarin it is called 城市. Uhnung is the nearest major City to many major nations. Due to its close proximity to some of the nation's nearest trade partners and allies (most of the time ), it is the birthplace of a many major trade deals and even a alliances. It also means that Uhnung is influenced by these nations in its architecture etc. In the storm season, Uhnung is one of the worst hit places as it is hit by the Chelibi rains (Cherry Rains). This torrential rain also hits the nearby nations. The Chelibi rains usually start in April and end in June. Uhnung also experiences alot of rain in the other months of year due to it being surrounded by the Sea on all but one side. This is why Uhnung is nicknamed the City of Rain ( 雨城市 ). Now here are some pics from your recent Day trip Uhnung- Exploring the Suburbs in the late Morning Sun It starts to rain as you pass through the government owned pre-fab apartments. It doesn't get any better whilst you view the traditional temple The rain starts to come down as you pass through the outer areas of the city It brightens up as you find the edge of the miles of rice paddies As you admire your surrounding the sunset becomes eminent You head back to your hotel but stop and admire a traditional Concert hall first Thats all for today guys, please comment your thoughts
  7. Ceaser is going to go on for about 3-6 more updates, maybe more, since someone was playing with the config.bmp file on my computer Ceaser is now gone forever, but luckily I took many, many images, and p.s, the region pop was at 759,871 right before Ceaser was lost. After I use all of my CJ images I am taking a break from cj'ing, since computer-related things keep messing up all of my cities, maybe I should switch to a mac and leave windows 7.... Edit: I just realized that alot of the pics I took are also gone, so make that like 3 or 4 updates.... And now for the update, I know this isn't my best As you can see there is about 7 new buildings. The new tallest building is the Surprise Condominium Tower, which is the orange one. This is a picture from the new movie "2013", which is a sequel to the 2009 film "2012". In "2013", recolonization starts as the ships shown at the end of the "2012" are finally in Africa, only to find out that Africa didn't rise at all, the whole world actually sunk, which means all settlements in Africa are still standing. Later on, the find out that another solar maximum occurs, so the same exact things happen to Africa, and eventually all humans and most land animals are extinct. The movie was given a 21% due to the bad ending and poor special effects, and to the fact that Ceaser isn't even close to Africa. The movie was named the worst movie ever. This is the Ceaser Beltway River, a man made river to add beauty to the beltway and let the beltway not feel so congested, even though it failed to do that according to citizens.

Kjeldsbourg is a town in southern Estonia, It has a very rich history and beautiful buildings History- (actually just copied and pasted from my CJ on Xl nation The earliest recording of Kjeldsbourg was in 1229 after Livonian Crusade. Kjeldsbourg was then a small town of about 2000 citizens , it was described as having a monastery on the south bank and the town on the north. It was part of the Livonian order until 1346 when The whole of Estonia was sold to the Teutonic order and became part of Ordenstaat. (Germany) By now Kjeldsbourg had grown to around 10 000 people , While Russia was successfully invading Estonia the Teutonic Order had collapsed. Sweden then overtook Estonia and the population swelled , Including that of Kjeldsbourg. It now had a castle and around 12 000 however, after the Great Famine of 1695–97 killed some 70,000 people (20%of the population of Estonia) the population fell again to around 10 000 . After the Great Northern War (1700–21) between Sweden and Russia , the Swedish empire lost Estonia to Russia by the Treaty of Nystad. However, the upper classes and the higher middle class remained primarily Baltic German. The war devastated the population of Estonia and Kjeldsbourg dropped to 7000, but it recovered quickly. The monastery in Kjeldsbourg was heavily damaged in the war , the Russians rebuilt it like St Basil s cathedral in Moscow in 1834. . After the Russian revolution of 1917, Tallinn remained under Soviet control until 24 February 1918, when Estonian independence was declared. Kjeldsbourg had now a population of 16 000 and was an important food producer , in WW2 it provided food and ammunition for Russian Troops , before Estonia was occupied by Germany . Many of the people that had come to Estonia making ammunition stayed , the population swelled . It hit the 20 000 mark in 1948 . By now the war had ended and Stalin saw it as an opportunity to regain Estonia . After the end of Soviet Rule (1991) when Estonia formally declared independence and the Soviet Union collapsed , the population was 34 000 . It continued to grow as Kjeldsbourg was recognized as a Tourist resort and the airport (Kjelédbürager regional airport) was opened . Today Kjeldsbourg has a population of 56 000 people and continues to grow. it is an Exporter of Food and a famous holiday destination Pictures The Cathedral A street A plane on the taxiway The church of St Michael Overview At the bottom of this photo you can see one of my earlier RHM (realisitc highway mod) interchanges

  10. Welcome back! I'm going to start listing replies in this entry so here they are. MarkusJ:Yes this will be the main city, though expect it to be a long time before it even hits apartment stage. grstudios:I will try that this entry. First to report is a expansion of the housing district along a nearby beach. As you can see, there is also a new farm. As you can't see, it's main crop is tomatoes and it's run by the Van Dyke brothers. They've also built a brand new wave power station. It now provides 95% of their energy. Also new is the clinic. It was built after a sudden epidemic of the flu killed 2 people. Commercial development is going nicely. Will this beach eventually be a huge tourist hotspot? Bonus pic! It's Mornings After Coffee, another SimGoober restaurant. CREDIT TIME! 11. Another entry and this time we're going up the valley to the bread and butter of the coal industry of the area. Carbon Vale is also seeks to be a tourist attaction, offering tours of the safer portions of the mine, as well as a quant riverfront and boardwalk. Well, lets stop the talking a show you all a few photos! Before the mining industry moved in, this area of the valley was once the home to a quaint farming community. The Robert's Farm Mill is nearly all that is left. The wooden bridge leads across the river to a hiking trail leading up the mountain on the other side. A wide shot of the minining operation. There's a lot in this picture. On the far left, you see a curved track for trains who turn back here to head back down the valley. This mine is largest in valley and as the locals say "If you don't work for the mine, then you're just passing through" Some worry that the Coal Washer in the bottom right may be contaminating the river, however the mining company claims it's own water tests have found that their systems meet all regulation requirements. Close up of one of the daily coal trains heading down the valley. Close up on the mine operation itself. The complex at the top is the actuall shaft, while the first stage of processing the coal happens in the complex at bottom. One last shot before I go, looks like a few people are waiting on the train to head down the valley and to the city beyond. Sorry for the long-awaited updated. RL gets in the way sometimes. I appreciate all the comments and feel free to give criticism. I'm going for a mix between realism and natural growth. My hope is to offer something new, or at least my own spin on what the game and mods have to offer. I doubt I'll do much modding myself, but I'll try to make sure you'll be wanting to come back for more.

Welcome to beautiful Kingsbury on the Kings River, the major river in the Hoenn region. Today it is a small farming town, but one day it will hopefully become a booming metropolis. The current population is 427, so it will take quite a while to reach that level, especially in pure vanilla SC4D.

Welcome to the Town of Petterson Coast! It's small, but very nice. Let's start at the crossing of the main road and the Bakerstreet. Here you can see the one of the last standing pioneer-buildings of the town. Now we're going southbound to one of the new, modern commercial streets. You see, it's a rich town. But even in this high-wealthy area there are still farms in use. Therefore the town is nice. You have rural areas near a rich downtown. The forests of Petterson Coast are very beautiful, above all in autumn. That's all for today, but when you like my City Journal I'll even show you the coast of Petterson Coast. So, Goodbye! (PS: Sorry for my bad english)

The A-11 Begins in Kennedy Isles on the coast of the ocean. IT travels inland where it begins to climb the Iron Mountains until it leaves the region. The A-11 begins in the city of Kennedy Isles, then turns north, paralell to the railroad. We travel along the A-11 which happens to follow Ore Creek . The bi-way also happens to pass a historic park, which once use to be an old outpost for trade in the region. The A-11 then quickly enters Sommerset where it still follows Ore Run until it goes back up into the hills. Passing trough Sommerset, the A-11 quickly leaves as soon as it enters, and so does Ore Run. The A-11 enters the town or Creasent Valley, and must cross the Creasent Bridge be fore it enters town. We cross the bridge to Creasent Valley, and begin our acsent up the Iron mountains. We now have entered the town of Montovia, and the A-11 must wind up some hills before it can make it to town. The A-11 has now made its way to Middle Montovia, but it now turns up a steep grade to get to the top of the mountains. Now the A-11 is about to leave the Greater New Washington region, but before it does, it is paved along picture perfect Iron Lake.

Hi, um I'm really sorry about the computer issue with dubai, by the way. That journal will probaly be finished in about 2-3 months or so, but this journal has a really small region, so I believe this will end quicker so I can start working more on dubai. For now, we have the Jabihamas, a land of one huge island/peninsula/plateau and a series of small islands. Here's a teaser, the full thing should be out in a week.

Hello there and welcome to my very first CJ! First of all I'd like to say that this modding community is simply amazing, the detail and amount of work that every single person does to create their own cities and mods is simply astonishing and I'm glad to be here. So without further delay let's get to it. Bastion, Arcadia's capitol, spans south of the region, bordering it's beautiful coasts that spans as far as the eyes can see, due to it's specific location, Bastion is the main transportation hub of the region in which transportation hubs intertwine to deliver and collect resources from other cities. Due to this, Bastion has developed into a sprawling metropolis with a heavy hand in the trading industry, everything from foodstuffs, to electronics and cosmetics all travel through this busy metropolis. Here we can see the towering skyscrapers that loom over the city, the views within these very buildings are astonishing, at one side you can see the beautiful boardwalk and coast and on the other you can see the city for miles, due to this, a ferris wheel was contructed not long ago to make use of these gorgeous views for entertainment and tourists alike as many people flood the streets to enjoy the nightlife, generating a nice traffic flow to enjoy sightseeing before heading towards the Indoor Market located just south of it. Above is the Indoor Market, where hundreds of shops sprawl inside of this building, divided into 2 wings, one side containing a farmer's market and food court to enjoy delicacies within the region, and the other containing popular clothing stores and electronics stores. Here we can see the highway that crosses through the city, the heavy flow of traffic has forced the city to build multiple tunnels and leadways that intersect each other to help out bottleneck avenues that are flooded with traffic. And the final photo for today, the highway leading into and out of Bastion, sprawling towers greeting you as you enter, giving you a feel for what's to come.
