Download in comments section Sorry I've been holding out for so long - these are my favorite urban infill lots! They look great in areas between WTW rowhomes and detached suburbs. These are some narrow lot residentials I've been using for a long time in my game. Here they are lotted on conveniently sized parcels for easier development. These houses are often clustered together in tight parcels built by the same developer anyway. You can grow them on medium residential easily if you don't zone water first then historicalize them, or use growify. North Bergen Narrow Lots (NJ, circa 1910) available in 2x2, 3x2, 4x2, 7x2, and 8x2 lot sizes! St Louis Narrow Lots (Missouri, circa 1910) avail. 4x2 size only. Both sets of rowhomes are available as prop families contained within for easy relotting. Lmk if you encounter any other issues. This is a heavily tested file. -

Time for another map! This time it's New York City-Newark-Long Island, NY-NJ, USA. The largest metropolitan area in the United States, home to over 22 million people, the map includes all of New York City and its boroughs, Newark and parts of New Jersey and most of Long Island. The map is 28 x 24 large city tiles and is accurately scaled based on DEM data. It has been rotated so that the street grid in Manhattan can be easily built in game. In order to install the map you will need wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer as the file is in SC4M format. I hope you can put this map to good use, enjoy! -TCC View My Full Map Catalogue Here:- 2 Comments

I bring you this building inspired by some residential apartments in Brooklyn neighborhoods. I've always liked the idea of being able to diversify and vary the residential areas when it comes to a New York theme. Try to establish fairly balanced statistics between MAXIS standards and a slightly more realistic view of urban development in our cities. I also took the task of including some alternative versions with different textures to give a more random and diverse atmosphere to the neighborhoods and make them feel less repetitive and more human (you can have early access to these versions on my Patreon page). I hope you like it and I am ready to read you in the comments. Apart from existing several versions with different textures, there is also another model with a different style, this model has a frame on the door with a cornice very popular in this kind of building made from the age. Entry 62 -- Brooklyn, The Beginning
The British Sausage posted a City Journal entry in My SC4 CJ Scrapbook
Replies: SIMCITYPLIS: Thanks for your comment. That house you are referring belongs to Simcoug's R$$ Diagonal Houses. Thanks a lot folks for the likes and views! {---} Entry 62: Brooklyn, The Beginning These pictures are a collection of two to three months work on my The Big Mango project, a downscaled recreation of New York. This is my best approximation of Brooklyn giving the resources available. If this had been Cities: Skylines I would have nailed it, sadly my computer can't run Cities: Skylines anymore, let alone a version of the game with all those mods and plugins. So here's the next best thing! This is also a small treat for all those New York members of Simtropolis- you're in my thoughts and prayers given that you are in the epicentre of the Covid-19 outbreak in the USA. Stay safe folks and good luck. {---} Everything in the bottom right corner, bound by the East River and my approximation of Newtown Creek, is Brooklyn. 2. I tentatively added some avenues and highways to denote some of the key routes of Brooklyn. 3. The next step was working out the kind of buildings to use. 4. One day this view will be complete... Some day- perhaps coming sooner given the extra spare time I have due to the WuFlu lockdown in the UK. 5. The next challenge was finding a series of brownstones which were both grimy enough and suitably Brooklyn-enough! 6. From here, once I found the right building styles and themes, the area suddenly exploded with development as I infilled city block after city block. 7. 8. 9. One part of my Brooklyn Bridge Boulevard creation- pushing the community plugins, mods and user-content to the maximum here! 10. Since this recreation is downsized I couldn't create all the fisheries and small docks dotted along Brooklyn's west shoreline. So this had to suffice as a substitute for Wallabout Bay. 11. 12. There is no SC4 bridge to match the Williamsburg Bridge. So I picked the closest approximation and that steel girders style felt the best to use! 13. Good fortune allowed me to end the bridge inland, thus given me the ability to place some overhang buildings under the bridge! NO lotting was involved! 14. This area is loosely based around New York City Housing Authority's Ingersoll Houses (by Brooklyn Bridge). 15. These aren't random creations either- I looked extensively at Google Maps and sketched out a hand-drawn map of key roads, areas and landmarks. Thus proportionately landmarks and features are in the right place, but the scale is smaller. 16. I did something similar for Manhattan Island- Lower and Midtown Manhattan. 17. So it was a mini labour of love! 18. The rest is my interpretation- an artist gotta be an artist! 19. 20. One thing I noticed about the Brooklyn brownstone city blocks were the trees both on the streets and in the middle (of the city blocks). This made my job easier! 21. My dream is for one day where someone creates a diagonal Brownstone set to help me create diagonal city blocks of brownstones! But, one can only dream... All it would take is ten buildings, three or so different colour variations, and three or so different roof junk and window variations (closed curtains, etc.) and that would be enough. Give me that and I shall give you a few dozen blocks of diagonal, W2W Brownstone goodiness to make jaws drop! 22. 23. The northern part of Brooklyn is complete, but the southern part is not as I'm waiting for diagonal brownstones- it hast to be diagonal to really break up the area. But, as you can see in the bottom left corner of the picture, Long Island City can be worked on! 24. The money shot! To the bottom left is Greenpoint. 25. This miniature version of Greenpoint gave me a chance to splurge out on all those industrial BATs! 26. And a bit of MMPing too! 27. The elevated highway is supposed to represent the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. 28. Any ideas you have, or recommended buildings, then I'm all ears. 29. The small river is Newtown Creek. Since this is surrounded by a lot of warehouses, factories and industry, then this will be really fun to build! 30. 31. The Big Mango -- my downsized New York recreation -- as it stands now. My next goal is to complete the Long Island City portion in the bottom left of the picture. Afterwards I'll be working west of Manhattan on Union City and Jersey City. There's still plenty to do before I eventually tackle the south of Brooklyn. Again, if diagonal brownstones turn up that would be nice! And that's it for this entry! Have a good weekend and stay safe! Oh and a few bonus pictures, albeit posted previously- but keeping good spirits and all of that...- 10 Comments

In this update we will travel out of Manhattan across the bridge to show you my recreation of Brooklyn. DUMBO Short for Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass is a neighborhood in the New York City borough of Brooklyn. The area known as DUMBO used to be known as Gairville. It encompasses two sections: one located between the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges, which connect Brooklyn to Manhattan across the East River, and another that continues east from the Manhattan Bridge to the Vinegar Hill area. Below is the Con Edison Power Plant in Brooklyn located at 12 Gold St. Downtown Brooklyn Downtown Brooklyn is the third largest central business district in New York City, United States following Midtown Manhattan and Lower Manhattan, and is located in the northwestern section of the borough of Brooklyn. The neighborhood is known for its office and residential buildings, such as the Williamsburgh Savings Bank Tower and the MetroTech Center office complex. Cadman Plaza Brooklyn Heights The Brooklyn Heights area is an affluent residential neighborhood within the New York City borough of Brooklyn. The neighborhood is bounded by Old Fulton Street near the Brooklyn Bridge on the north, Cadman Plaza West on the east, Atlantic Avenue on the south, and the Brooklyn–Queens Expressway or the East River on the west. Adjacent neighborhoods are Dumbo to the north, Downtown Brooklyn to the east, and Cobble Hill and Boerum Hill to the south. Cobble Hill A neighborhood in the northwestern portion of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. A small neighborhood comprising 40 blocks, Cobble Hill sits adjacent to Brooklyn Heights to the north, Boerum Hill to the east, Carroll Gardens to the south, and the Columbia Street Waterfront District to the west. It is bounded by Atlantic Avenue (north), Court Street (east), Degraw Street (south) and the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (west). Other sources add to the neighborhood a rectangle bounded by Wyckoff Street on the north, Hoyt Street on the east, Degraw Street on the south, and Court Street on the west. Boerum Hill A small neighborhood in the northwestern portion of the New York City borough of Brooklyn, bounded by Schermerhorn Street to the north and Fourth Avenue to the east. The western border is variously given as either Smith or Court Streets, and Warren or Wyckoff Streets as the southern edge. Smith Street and Atlantic Avenue are the neighborhood's main commercial districts. The Brooklyn High School of the Arts is in the neighborhood on Dean Street and Third Avenue. The neighborhood is part of Brooklyn Community District 2 and is served by the NYPD's 84th Precinct. Carroll Gardens Carroll Gardens is a neighborhood in the northwestern portion of the New York City borough of Brooklyn. Taking up around 40 city blocks, it is bounded by Degraw and Warren Streets (north), Hoyt and Smith Streets (east), Ninth Street or the Gowanus Expressway (south), and Interstate 278, the Gowanus and Brooklyn–Queens Expressways (west).[3][4][5] The neighborhoods that surround it are Cobble Hill to the northwest, Boerum Hill to the northeast, Gowanus to the east, Red Hook to the south and southwest, and the Columbia Street Waterfront District to the west The Columbia Street Waterfront District The Columbia Street Waterfront District is a neighborhood in the borough of Brooklyn in New York City on the Upper New York Bay waterfront between Cobble Hill and Red Hook and situated on the western side of the Brooklyn–Queens Expressway (BQE). The neighborhood is locally governed by Brooklyn Community Board 6. The neighborhood was formed in 1957 when the newly built BQE effectively cut Columbia Street off from Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill, its two adjacent neighborhoods. Red Hook Red Hook is a neighborhood in northwestern Brooklyn, New York City, New York, within the area once known as South Brooklyn. It is located on a peninsula projecting into the Upper New York Bay and is bounded by the Gowanus Expressway and the Carroll Gardens neighborhood on the northeast, Gowanus Canal on the east, and the Upper New York Bay on the west and south. A prosperous shipping and port area in the early 20th century, the area declined in the latter part of the century. Red Hook is part of Brooklyn Community District 6, and its primary ZIP Code is 11231. It is patrolled by the 76th Precinct of the New York City Police Department. Politically, Red Hook is represented by the New York City Council's 38th District. The Brooklyn Side of the Battery Tunnel pops up in Red Hook where it joins the Gowanus EXPY I-278 Night time pics Good night Brooklyn...- 9 Comments

Hello good afternoon to everyone. A few hours ago I started working on a tower that I have wanted to have on SC4 for a long time, 425 - 5th Avenue NYC. I got with Sketchup since I do not have 3DMAX. I'm designing the main parts of the building. My question is. Do you know with what tool can I design many windows at once? And how to create good textures without using images? Thank you, I hope you like the idea of this work. !

This Is my first release as a member of BLaM. Adding to what I think the world will be like by 2050 (a futuristic wasteland) I give you my thought of what the Brooklyn Bridge in New York will look like by at least the year 2050. Stats are included in the readme To Install BLaM recommends the making of a folder named BLaM within your plugins folder. The contents of the folder contained within the download zip archive may then be dragged directly to that folder. Credits Batting and Lotting: Creator Testing: MarcosMX, and patfirefghtr Thank you to the BLaM team and to the community at large for their continuing support and encouragement. Release Notes All BLaM releases are available on the SimTropolis Exchange (STEX) and the SimCities Exchange (SCExchange). Individual members may release at other locations in addition to these.
