Sorry to keep all of you waiting, in terms of SC4 I've mostly been working on parts of the region... I'll just let the region views do the work Region view Region transport view Region map Coming out of Logan, we pass through the corner of Dyfania (terrible name, I know, I had no creativity at the time) This image is slightly touched up A look at Bolovov Expwy at the interchange We then enter the north side of Aurora. We're about to get onto the Turnpike, so get your wallet ready, unless you have GreenPASS...

So I just realized that I forgot to include update 15 in the CJ section, so here it is! So we're taking a minor detour from our route and visiting a construction site on H24. It's not exactly the construction style you'd see like in Tarkus's excellent CJ Tarkusian CIties, but more of how the project would progress in the most bare-bones way (at least there's dirt later on). This interchange has been a bottleneck for Jordan Ave (running N/S here) and isn't exactly the best interchange in the first place...

Phew. Bit of a time of inactivity for this CJ... I finally have an update continuing along our route. But first, a region shot As we've now passed out of Ravenna and into Logan, we pass under our first proper glimpse of AyDOT's new VMSs And its exit The next exit is bit more complicated... I'll let the signs explain Crossing Logan Creek... Crossing the Capital Beltway Last interchange in Logan Eventually we'll be down in the southwest corner of Aydina.. if you saw the region map you should be able to see...

Well, its been a while since we've had these Region Shot Region Map You can see I've been doing a lot of work... So for the next few updates we'll be taking a road trip from Ravenna to Cyther-Iraklion, filled with more roadgeekery than usual. You probably can tell who inspired me to do this We start out from our home in the northeastern portion of Ravenna, just off of R53 Innerbelt It quickly terminates We turn left, then proceed past Station Avenue (should be obvious as to why its named that ) We then...

Visiting Icara

Small forewarning, this post make take a while to load. 1920x1080 JPEGs and 2 rather large 1920xXXXX mosaics (also JPEG) do take a while to load. Once it's all loaded the images will be scaled properly. Region Shot (LINK) Trying something new in regards to the map... This update will concern Exit 65 thru 68

Existing Conditions

Raw Regionshot Map Population Stats Showing what's going on currently with the highways in question.. we'll be looking at a leg of H27 and H24 (Syaoran Expy) But first, to the north of the area in question, we have the 8-6 lane segment And one more bridge for good measure (not on H24/Syaoran Expy) And now we move focus to H27 And finally, the mosaics That'll be all for now!

Melistora Sea Barrier

First off... as usual... region shot! You'll notice information in the top left, and big green borders and stuff like that. LINKY Aydina is separated into 4 divisions, called Saibastia (literally "faces"). They are named and translated as shown in the information area on the map. Individually, their name is their motto, and together, they form Aydina's motto. Anyways, to pick up from that teaser... we'll be moving east to west in these pics. Hope you all enjoyed that, as well as the new "information tabs"...

All images are still clickable for full size in a new tab. Region shots as usual. And the map So we have Jennings Rd here... the curving road above H24 there. We prime the new alignment Lay down some asphalt Lay some more And finally pave it all over. The old alignment is still connected to the new But no longer so! The remaining bit is now named Olde Jennings Rd. And the finished result!

Everything in this CJ is still clickable for the image in a new tab. Well, here's a region map, as usual. Notice that I've planned out things and changed exit numbers... Click for full First up, an interesting tollchange, where H424, H27, and H27S interchange. Next, we have a full Y interchange that splits H64 from H35 A recently abandoned alignment remains And a teaser of whats to come

Aristole and TSX

Your obligatory region shot/map. Sorry for the crappy JPEG compression, but, well, the PNG is way too big. (Click!) We'll complete the run so far with an overview of Aristole. Here, its multiplexed with H35 (as shown on the map). And now we return back to the Ravenna area, this time stopping in "TSX." Only four other people know what it stands for, and you're most likely not one of them and its best if you don't know. It is a rather filthy rich suburb. (Capital Beltway right there) Interchange with the...

A region map, for your convienence And cuz its about time, AyDOT has a logo now! So first off, we're starting in Wilmington. Yeah, we just drove from Sand Run all the way here on the Capital Beltway and the Trans-Aydinian Turnpike without pics or anything, but, its my CJ and I can do what I like thank you The Wilmington Service Plaza along the Turnpike As we drive another 30 tycae or so on (note: 1 tyca > 1 mile, but 1 TaPH < 1 MPH. Don't ask how, its just like that), we arrive at Interchange 84 with at...
