  1. I am starting this new topic as the original thread has been locked. I tried the BLP-NDEX Boston Central Artery-Tunnel (Big Dig) from SC4Evermore and I am seeing two issues: Three of the ramps do not seem to render properly One Ramp, the BLP Big Dig - 2Lane Offramp Extended - §1,500, causes a CTD when I plop it. I have tried this with a clean plugins folder which only the basics, NAM, God Mode, submenus and such. Does anybody have an idea what the cause is?

Telegraph Hill Apartments, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- Loosely inspired by a new-build set of apartments in Boston, these apartments are a good low-rise option to bridge the gap between row-houses and other small medium-density development and the taller apartment blocks that are typically found with custom content. At 5 floors, this building is made of mixed materials typical of the modern palette: chocolate brown bricks and gun metal grey aluminium cladding define the bulk of the structure while highlights are provided by cedar paneling. The lots are offered in two medium wealth variants: a single 4x2 and a double 4x4 lot. Angled walls and elevations make an otherwise bland little building somewhat more interesting. Like all of my work, these are suited to both CAM and non CAM cities alike. --------------------------------------- STATS R§§: Lot size : 4x2 Growth Stage: 5 (Medium & High Density Zoning) Bulldoze Cost: §318 Capacity Satisfied:R§ 691, R§§ 383 Pollution: 3 (Air)/ 1 (Water)/ 4 (Garbage ) Pollution Radius: 5/6/0 Power Consumed:6 Mwh Water Consumed: 15 Gal/Month Building Style: Houston/NY/Chicago/Euro Occupant Group: Medium Wealth Residential Building, BSC, BSC-Mattb325 Lot size : 4x4 Growth Stage: 5 (Medium & High Density Zoning) Bulldoze Cost: §318 Capacity Satisfied:R§ 1,379, R§§ 762 Pollution: 6 (Air)/ 3 (Water)/ 4 (Garbage ) Pollution Radius: 5/6/0 Power Consumed:11 Mwh Water Consumed: 29 Gal/Month Building Style: Houston/NY/Chicago/Euro Occupant Group: Medium Wealth Residential Building, BSC, BSC-Mattb325 --------------------------------------- NOTE ABOUT DARK NITE vs MAXIS NITE: This download contains TWO model files; one for dark nite users (and other night-time darkening mods, such as Gizmos night-mod) and one for the standard Maxis nite. 10. John Hancock Tower

    Version 1.0

    3,271 Downloads

200 Clarendon Street, previously John Hancock Tower[1] and colloquially known as The Hancock, is a 60-story, 790-foot (240 m) skyscraper in Boston. The tower was designed by Henry N. Cobb of the firm I. M. Pei & Partners and was completed in 1976.[2] In 1977, the American Institute of Architects presented the firm with a National Honor Award for the building, and in 2011 conferred on it the Twenty-five Year Award.[3] It has been the tallest building in Boston and New England since 1976. The street address is 200 Clarendon Street, but occupants use both "Hancock Place" and "200 Clarendon Street" as mailing addresses for offices in the building. John Hancock Insurance was the main tenant of the building when it opened, but the company announced in 2004 that some offices would relocate to a new building at 601 Congress Street, in Fort Point, Boston. The tower was originally named for the insurance company that occupied it. The insurance company, in turn, was named for John Hancock, whose large and conspicuous signature on the United States Declaration of Independence made his name so famous in the U.S. that a colloquialism for a signature is "a John Hancock." File content: Functional Landmark with 5,000 CO$$$_Dark Nite Version Notice: 1.- The model presented here is an interpretation of the author. The measurements and size may vary from the original. 2.- The models are not exact replicas of the original building. 3.- This is a work of exploration and experimentation that Diego Del Llano wanted to share with the community of Simtropolis. If some of this work does not satisfy you, you have the option of not download this file. 4.-Diego Del Llano appreciates your understanding and wishes you to enjoy this project to the fullest. 5.- Acknowledgments and all the credits to the original authors of this building.

Description This is a map of the greater area of Boston, Massachusetts. Since this is my first map, there might be a few kinks. Areas include: downtown Boston, Boston Logan Intl. Airport, Cambridge, Winthrop, Brookline, and more! This map is almost completely flat, so it's perfect for heavy development. Instructions on installation in the readme file included in the download.

Old North Church, Boston, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- Built in 1723, this is the oldest church in Boston and is famous for having been the church from which Paul Revere received his illuminated signals ("one if by land, and two if by sea") prior to his midnight ride to warn Lexington and Concord during the American Revolution. The church is a national historic landmark and a mission of the Episcopalians. This building is modded as a non-conditional House of Worship reward (meaning it can be placed in your city at any time without having met prior conditions). It does not over-write the Maxis House of Worship rewards and can safely be used in conjunction with these (or any relotted version thereof). Placing this Reward provides R§§ CAP relief, has a park effect, boosts the mayor rating and also provides up to 17 highly desirable civic jobs. This is a 1x3/4 high commercial lvl 1 growable. About the model This is part of a small of a mini update of leisure growables. Make sure to get the Majestic theater and the BAM harvey theater as well! You can always follow my assetcreations on the Simtropolis forums: https://community.simtropolis.com/forums/topic/68841-darfs-buildings-the-dorilton-new-victory-theater/ or on sketchfab: https://sketchfab.com/sannie01 This model has about 904 tris and a 1024x512 texture, with a diffuse, shadow, normal, illumination and specularmap. This model has a custom LoD, which is about 50 tris with a 256x128 texture, with a diffuse, specular, and illumination map. RICO If you want this building added to your RICO buildings, add it in the settings menu, under growables. I recommend using the realistic population mod, this will calculate the amount of occupants in the building. About the building The Congress Street Fire Station, now known as the Boston Fire Museum, is an historic fire station at 344 Congress Street in Boston, Massachusetts. The Romanesque style station was designed by Harrison H. Atwood, then the city architect, and constructed in 1891. It is distinctive for its early use, within this style, of light-colored brick, and features a rusticated ground level and progressively more refined detailing as it rises. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987 and was included in the Fort Point Channel Historic District in 2004. It now serves as the Boston Fire Museum. Changes -

Hey there, Simtropolis!! It's been a while, but I'm happy to bring you another reskin! I'm uploading a GLR tram that is modeled after the Green Line trams of the MBTA in Boston, Massachusetts. These trains have been requested by both deathtopumpkins and novak253. After well over a year, I've followed through on my promise to make it! Without further ado, some specs and info: Original Model: vester_dk (Special thanks to vester for his 3D model!) Redesign: Nilo7 Testing: Nilo7 Background: This tram is based on the MBTA Green line trams in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. The Green line runs from Lechmere in the north to the termini of Boston College, Cleveland Circle, Riverside, and Heath. To install: Install either the .dat file with “hardware” or “software” on the end depending on how you run the game. To find out whether you run the game in hardware of software mode, click the button with the three dots in the region view and click the computer monitor. Place the correct .dat file in: My Documents → SimCity 4 → Plugins. To uninstall: Remove the file from the Plugins folder. Renderings: Hardware mode: 512x512 – High definition Software mode: 256x256 – Normal definition This model replaces the default in-game tram. Questions, comments, or concerns? Send a private message to me, Nilo7, by clicking here. Thanks for downloading, and I hope you enjoy the modd! -Nilo7 8) (formerly DCMetro34)

Five Hundred Boylston (Fully Mac Compatible) Today I bring you this creation, Five Hundred Boylston Street. Its a commercial building in downtown Boston, a post-modern building completed in 1989. It is one of the tallest buildings in Boston, and is now available for you in SimCity 4. This is the third building I have made. My main influence to create this BAT was the TV show, Boston legal. This building was used for their law firms offices, and was one of the buildings that I really wanted to BAT. In SC4 it is a high wealth commercial office and fits into a 6x5 Lot, costs $9876 to plop, and also comes in a growable version as well. Once again, fully Mac Compatible, meaning that all nightlighting will work on macs. As evidence, all images were taken on a mac. Dependencies: None, Download and enjoy! Hope you like it
