Salem, Massachusetts, a settlement of puritans, founded in 1629 in the New England region. Famous for the Salem Witch Trials. Beautifully re-created, to truly represent one of the first settlements of the new world. Beautiful flowing rivers, rich ore deposits and farmland for your citizens to toil over. It's a rather vast map, with plenty of rivers, coasts and forests. Mymyjp perhaps you should watch the videos available for this game, as this game offers full terraforming abilities, on a level that has never before been seen in a game. With the ability to create maps and city sizes as big as the region view in SC4, even up to 100sqkm vs 2sqkm on Simcity 2013. Maps give full control over gravity, rivers, mountains, water flow, everything, you name it. Perhaps maybe watching this might help you. And BTW, to everyone else on here whom is cynical and cautious of buying into the hype of this game, are you serious? This is not some Cities XXXXXXXL rip off, this game is insanely amazing, I would happilly pay $300 for a game that offers absolutely everything, I have ever wanted in a city builder my entire life. And for a price half that of an EA title.

The fact is I, nor Maxis, nor anyone cares about it. It's not a problem, it's how the game was designed and how it will remain. You think Maxis cares that you dont spend $40 on a game. You can whine all day until the cows come home, it won't make a bit of difference, as the game IS NOT BROKEN, the game runs suburb and always has. So you can sit there, with your demands, and whine and wait, because you will be waiting for an eternity. It's no different to me playing another game like Tropico, and whinging and complaining that the game is broken because 'I' cannot zone residential, only plop buildings. That is how it was designed, the qualified and skilled designers make the game in accordance with the design guidelines from EA. If you don't like it, then move on, and play something else. Because I can assure you there is no other city builder out there even remotely close the complexities and city management this offers you. The problem with SOCIETY today, is they are ungrateful and demanding, if you actually considered the hard work put into this game, you should be grateful and appreciate it for what it is, instead of sitting behind your computer complaining about how what you want is not in a game. As I said earlier, complain all you like, it will get you no where. Whilst us gamers continue on, actually playing our games and enjoying our time during this one opportunity we get to experience life on this planet vs complaining about pathetic things. Will not be re-visiting this forum post, it's not worth my time when I could be playing or doing something with my life.- 1,284 Replies

This mod will disable the night cycle - Giving you a continuous daylight cycle Designed for offline & online I love playing SimCity, but when it passes 9pm, the city plunges into darkness. I anxiously await that little window of light that occurs during the 1am full moon, but after that, it's just waiting for that clock to come back to 6 or 7am. With this mod, you won't have to wait at all, it completely replaces the lighting ID's associated with night time, with daylight ones. Installation: 1. Extract the file 2. Whilst I get most of your mods are just changing the pathway menu items, a lot of your mods are useless at times, because these extensions still require unlocking via the university and required schools such as law or engineering etc. What would make your mods amazing, are if you removed the unlock requirements, I tried doing this over an extended period with the hazmat garage and high school, to no luck. If they could be unlocked and placed with a small station, then yes it would be awesome.
