  1. CT14's Railroad Lots and BAT

The Silver King Coalition Mines Co Terminal has been released: It's built as a high-tech lot, for your old cities which are always in need of high-tech workers.

Reference: IRM Filler Base Texturing Dirty - 0xd5b0464a Base texture for IRM I-D fillers uses North Country Dude's Railyard Textures (or the RRW override if installed): Manufacturing - 0x258d1000 Base texture for IRM I-M fillers uses Maxis concrete: High Tech - 0x258c2000 Base texture for IRM I-HT fillers uses a different Maxis concrete, not shown. In most of my work I use Manufacturing or even Dirty for old High Tech lots, since those types were considered high tech 100-150 years ago.
  3. CT14's Railroad Lots and BAT

New cast iron W2W building, based on the 1883 A. H. Johnson building from Portland, OR. Also testing prop families for the Silver King Aerial Tram 48m spans. This was the first in-game texture test, the brick and the facing are too bright and will be toned down. A bit more roofjunk to add, and nightlights, and variations.
  4. Need some help first BAT!

Hi, your work looks great! Angles and Overhangs aren't hard at all! You may have to move the prop around a few times to get it perfect, but the basic process is simple. Here is how I do it. First create a regular, no-wealth prop exemplar from the sc4model in SC4 PIM. Then use a 'blank' model to create a Ploppable CS Landmark (or whatever), create a lot from that building exemplar, and put the building prop on that lot. It's easier if the prop has dimensions planned to match the 16m grid. Also you'll need to find and understand directions for setting capacity. Each sidewalk tile in the default base texture is 1/10 the 16 meters. Setting W2W models 2 tiles from the road is standard. You can make this match easily on the ortho sides of the model. Experiment with the other sides. By the way, you'll probably also want to remove the sidewalk texture around the building before final render. I made a similar BAT/lot here which isn't perfect but illustrates the technique - examine it if you like: https://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/31471-fab-diagonal-industrials/
  5. You folks are good with those MMPs! I've been having a lot of fun with Diggis Ponds, Sudden Valley and Cascadia Tree Controller. I found you can make little islands with the corner bits. If you look closely you can see non-matching CAN-AM tiles - those have since been fixed with the Multiple Canals mod (confirmed working with NAM 37!)

The filler lots visible in the Fisher screenshots have been packaged and uploaded:
  7. Show us What you're Working On

There are some really large lists, plugin-pack-style, showing up on the LEX as 'shell packages' using the dependency tracker. You might be able to use that, especially since you do have unique content to go along with the huge lists.
  8. Show us What you're Working On

@BartonThinks This is really cool, and if you published the props I'm sure folks would use them. Same for the lots!
  9. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Will dig in old plugin packs, someone must have these.
  10. A D Rean Branch Library

    Always liked llamas.
  11. BAT Request Thread

Sometimes if a lot has wacky capacity it won't get 'picked' to spawn. I see a capacity of 198 for one of the 4x2 lots in Reader. That seems okay but I'm not sure what else might be competing. You can juke the system with ctrl-zoning medium density residential with size 3x2 or 4x2 (or other sizes from later packs?) on Chicago, New York, Houston tilesets to try to get the RUSA lots to grow (R$ R$$).
  12. Custom BAT looks blurry when zooming in on it

Thanks for letting us know it's working! Nice project, be sure to compare to Maxis BATs and consider toning down the bright colors a bit to match.
  13. BAT Request Thread

Not sure if already discussed but JBSimio's RUSA apartment BATs/lots should be helpful - there are a handful, here is the first: https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=2085
  14. Zuidkasteel, Antwerpen

This building is wearing a hat
  15. Small Football Ground 5

Great to see this work being published! I'm sure it will fit splendidly in any modern city!
  16. The small 90 drag road corners used to be confusing, probably because it would work for streets but not for roads. All great news.
  17. Animated Horse-drawn Carriage Automata Pack 3

We have been waiting so long for packs like this! Thank you so much for taking the time to do it.
  18. Show us your industry!

Views of the industrial waterfront area.
  19. Show us your Area view

Old computer died. New computer built. Can now run Cities: Skylines. Yes, I know I have some unfinished SC4 assets remaining to publish. Here's my first try at a historical build, based on a Northwestern American port city.
