Yep, I'm still around here from time to time - almost 20 years later (which is crazy to think about since it feels like only a few years ago since SC4 was released ) Anyway, i need to update hosting for the models I made, since the links went down probably a year or so ago. Going to put the downloads on Google Drive so they can be downloaded once again. Will probably make an update to the blog with how my SC4 recreations (NYC, LA, Chicago, London, etc..) have been coming along recently since I still work on them periodically.

I'm blown away as someone from Chicago - fantastic and incredible work. So many BAT's I wanted to have in SimCity 4 for more than a decade: the IBM Building, 311 Wacker, Leo Burnett, the Prudential Building, the Metcafe Federal Building, etc.... Planned on making some of these myself but procrastinated on getting started and prioritized my laundry list of NYC BAT's... which I need to start finishing and releasing finally since the Flatiron Building has been sitting around almost finished for 10+ years now) Planning on making some Chicago BAT's like the Daley Center, Art Institue, Marshall Fields, the RR Donnelley Building (77 West Wacker Drive), One Chicago Tower and an accurately scaled Merchandise Mart (which would be basically mega project due to its size and the fact that it would need to be transit enabled since it's connected to a CTA L station). Seeing all your projects has inspired me to fire BAT back up.... Also really great to hear you're branching out into other cities eventually also like New York, lots of filler international and postmodern buildings to choose from.... just don't burn yourself out. Tested out 3 & 4 Michigan Plaza in my Chicago recreation and they look great btw.

Excellent work as always. I love that your BAT's feel alive and give a sense of the urban energy of NYC.

Cool to see there's still interest in my NYC recreation after all these years (20 years now which is crazy to think of :o) The Park Lane Hotel was indeed BATed by me way back around 2008 or so. Here's a direct link to donwload it from my Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/u/0/folders/1vDy6JzEGUqj7paBzqEqQ2LSprGVDha6h for anyone interested. When I have more time I'm planning on making a new version of the Park Lane Hotel (along with a few of my other BAT's) and put them on STEX. Some of my old BAT's like the Solow and WR Grace Buildings aren't scaled accurately and need better textures. Believe it or not I still work on my New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and London recreations from time to time; much less frequently than years ago due to increasing demands of real life but it's amazing I've been able to keep them going for over a decade.

The best NYC recreation I've seen yet... maybe the best NYC recreation in a game even. Those custom buildings are also stunning and make me want to fire up BAT.

Stunning realism as always and beautiful images that give me wanderlust. It looks like you'd need a super computer to run some of these recreations btw.

Amazing work as usual. This looks like Google Earth in SimCity. That terrain Corsica is beautiful, trying to get the same effect and combination for my Los Angeles region.

100 United Nations Plaza is a luxury residential highrise from the New York City Journals. It is 557 ft tall and is located on the East Side of Manhattan near the United Nations Building. The building is ploppable as a 2x3 landmark. Dependencies: New York Street Props. Enjoy! -
Wow! This brings back a lot of memories of all those hours recreating my NYC reaction in SC3000, I can almost hear the game music playing looking at the pictures

Absolutely stunning! And that some jaw dropping attention to detail also; incredibly inspiring for my on NYC recreation. Agree with gutterclub that it is sad to see unreleased BAT's but at least you've edited them well into your recreation. How long did it take you to place the buildings and such?

Opa! Spectacular work as always. Loving the beautiful recreation of Santorini; makes me want to book a ticket there to escape the coming cold months here.

Wow! Amazing work- you're now officially the SimCity recreation god. All of those SC3KU pics takes me back to the days when I would play and BAT (or was it BAP in SC3k?) back when I was working on my NYC creation in it.

Beautiful work as always and really great job with all the custom BAT's you made for this update! I'm not a fan of supertall buildings in RL since I think they changed/ changing the character of the skyline a little too dramatically too quickly but they don't look that bad plopped down in the context of SimCity. One57 and 432 Park Avenue are growing on me but I think it's going to be years till I get used to all the others going up- especially since they tower over the ESB and Chrysler Building. Didn't know BTW there was a (proposed) supertall that might go up on Fifth Avenue and 62nd across from the Pierre Hotel... currently there a residential condo and the Knickerbocker Club on that block. Hope they don't tear that down.

Absolutely wonderful work! That picture with the Flatiron building and period cars is just stunning Very true to life of 1950's NYC. So good I was reading the descriptions of the pictures in an old timey broadcaster's voice.

Very nice! That looks like the Daley Center in Chicago. Great work!

Thanks, just need to carve out some time to get back into BATing I really should since I have a bunch of unfinished NY BAT's too! Good to see 477 Madison hit the STEX as a gift for the New Year. Now Madison Avenue is coming along in my NYC recreation. Speaking of which BTW, I know it's an old project of yours from back in 2017 but any news on 275 Madison Ave? (aka the Johns-Manville Building) Have been wondering for a while what happened to it since it looked nearly finished last time you posted progress of it.... I hope the file didn't get corrupted or anything.

Great work! Love those Midtown wedding cake skyscrapers; they also make good filler buildings for my NYC recreation. Also miss the NYBT team BTW since there was a time where checking the STEX each week was like opening presents on Christmas. Many of them are inactive now.... but I might get back to BATing after years of not making anything and finally release my unfinished Flatiron Building.
