OK guys, I'm back with a Christmas present for you all. It's another landmark, "Palazzo del Podest Staff Note: Apparently, the upload had gone missing without reason. It has been replaced. Let us know if a particular reason for the file to have been removed is known. - CaptCity -

The tower I made is the lighthouse of Genoa, a city with a great history that also is the biggest seaport on Mediterranean sea. The current structure, that is still now used, was built in 1543, even if the first tower was built in XII century. On its southern wall you can see the flag of the city (there's also an interesting and true story about it, I'll write it after). As you can see, I only made the tower, without the buildings and the walls on the same hill. Night lighting and Maxis beacon light included. DESCRIPTION: 1x1; plop cost: 40000 -

Hello everybody. This time I reproduced a bell tower that is also the symbol of the italian city Cremona: the Torrazzo. It's 111 metres high and on its walls you can see an astronomical clock and a sundial. It was built between 1230 and 1309, and until fifty years ago it was the highest bell tower in Italy. The b.a.t. is accurate (the measures are perfectly correct), but the hardest part was finding decent textures for it (I'm not completely satisfied with them, actually). There's also night lighting. Here's another landmark from skazz. It's a romanic church that you can see in Milan, and it's entitled to the city's patron (Saint Ambroise). It was first built in IV century a.D., but the current structure was built between IX and XII century, even if it was modified and restructured many times until XIX century. The building was, in medieval times, the real centre of the city, since it had both religious and civic function; in fact the courtyard before the church was used for assemblies or fairs. I tried to represent the basic structure with the two bell towers (in the real landmark other lateral buildings that I didn't represent are linked to the church), but I simplified the texturing, that sometimes is really complex. This time there's also night lighting. P.S.:if there are some problems with the files, post a comment and I'll see if I'm able to do something. DESCRIPTION: 3x6, plop cost:70000 -

Second tiny BAT from skazz. Due to its unusual shape, it's a unique but handsome landmark, it's called "Mausoleo di Teodorico" (Teodorico's Masoleum, that you can see in Ravenna), and originally contained the tomb where the king of Osthrogoths, who ruled over Italy between the fifth and the sixth century a.D., rested. (There's also a short legend about it, I'll write it down here). Again, it's not perfect, but accurate. I wasn't able to do the windows you see over the upper door on the original landmark (actually it wasn't so important here, but if someone could explain me how to make windows - holes - on a cylinder, it would be appreciated). There's no night lighting (it's just some kind of a tomb). DESCRIPTION: 1x1, plop cost: 25000 -

OK, here's my first BAT. It represents the only landmark in the town where I live, and it's called "Arco d'Augusto" (Augustus' Arch). Finished in 9 a.D., it was the main entrance to the roman town. The upper part collapsed during a siege in the fifteenth century, so that's what you can see now. The BAT is not perfect, but it's quite accurate. Since the on-scale building is very tiny for SC4 standards, I decided to add a bigger transit-enabled version of that. As for the real arch, there's no night lighting.
