On building without snap points and textures outside of borders...

Afaik, it's not possible, maybe unless using mods like that mod allowing plopping buildings outside of the city border. But we can sorta emulate that using smaller snap points, like in the context of parks, we could plop smaller extra pieces next to the park so the grid is tangibly smaller than the grid used by the park. My memory is a bit foggy. -
Yup exactly. That's Ulisse and @Tyberius06 work over the past 2-3 years or so. We have been witnessing the biggest restoration project in history, since before that, we're arguing about "is restoring ethical and legal?" Now, it's time to leave that discussion and restoring all files as much as possible. Addendum: because you're wondering, well it so happens that the restoration efforts comes with folder restructuring and coincidentally sc4pac couple years later. Earlier files, more specifically their zip files, got restructured and when sc4pac came about a year ago, it got restructured again to be more compatible with sc4pac. Afaik, they're all part of the same movement, Project Zip or Modpacc (depending who you ask). That's why I included all of them in the context of restoration.

According to this doc*, it's possible to have a diagonal road intersecting with a curve. But, there's a problem. I don't know if wide-radius curves (WRCs) are supported. It could mean a small (I mean, 1x1). I do know that WRCs, especially ones made of streets, are a bit fragile. Manually reuploading files isn't possible for the moment. I tried it with my files and everything related to attachments are write-protected. And nope, you can't DM admins either since the protection is global. I'll wait for CB and Cori.

Can second to that. I had a problem with the PM being erroneous. I wish I can post it here. But since it included a portion of PMs, I couldn't. Update (@CaptCity): yes, refreshing doesn't solve problem. Heck visiting in different times doesn't solve it. So does better internet connection. I'd argue it's almost probably ST's fault, tho note that I have strict cookies settings since almost a year. But right before this, it didn't break at all.- 1,100 Replies

Try to reinstall the NAM with all options enabled. Some installations may omit 3-4 lane networks for simplicity. After reinstalling, it should be ready to go.

How about if we reallocate pipe and power line to be a catch-all for all other new networks, while keeping the (arguable) functionality intact)? I mean arguable at least for power poles since we don't really need it anymore since it doesn't come with other varieties. While water is still definitely needed since water can't travel alone, we can reimplement the functions with another layering. In the end, what we really need more is better multi-tile network dragging, since it's kind of prerequisite of true new networks. We thought killing dozens of RULs are nearly impossible, until further development of exemplar patching etc proves the otherwise.

Private community. It basically duplicates the forum's functionality into a private space. For instance, there's a SimCity 3000 community here in Simtropolis. Instead of completely isolated space like in Discord, you can get notification from posts like you do from the ordinary Simtropolis. By order, roughly speaking: City Journals: quite often Gallery: rare Omnibus: really rare Clubs: surprisingly often, tho by few clubs (cough SimCity 3000 cough) SimTopical: unused, since ST isn't TikTok or Instagram Chat: often by new players STEX Collections: rare, since you can access it from homepage

Shouldn't have any problem, tho 32 megs dedicated to the graphics is a bit low. As long as you have SSD, it should be quite fast, especially when the NAM doesn't need large RULs anymore.
