    A file from Vagrant Store that is no longer available from the original site. Download size: 850 kB Version 1.00 Planned as part of The Führer's dream world capital of "Germania," it is a replica of the public hall called "Volkshalle", the perceived symbol of that region. This repllica is much smaller in scale than the planned facility itself. A fiictional version of the model Volkshalle appears in the TV production of The Man in the High Castle. The building also appears in Robert Harris's 1992 novel Fatherland and in the novel In the Presence of Mine Enemies by Harry Turtledove, both of which are alternate history novels in which Nazi Germany won World War II and in which the Volkshalle was actually built. It serves as a landmark with employment (120 high-income earners). ̈ Construction Cost: §12500 ̈ Monthly Cost: §200 ̈ Removal Cost: §1290 ̈ Size: 7×7 grid Note from original creator: I think that the ID duplication of the texture used in the original may be a problem in the future, so I made one this one that does not use my own texture.

    Community Hall, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- Made as a request, this building is based on the Ballhaus Ost in Berlin. Originally a mourning hall, it has since been converted to a community space and theatre. Normally, when I receive a request, before I even agree to do it, one of the first things I do is look for similar BATs or lots that already exist. Certainly I wasn't expecting to find the Ballhaus Ost, but I was even more surprised to see that the broader definition of community halls did not exist either. This is despite the fact that community halls are everywhere in real life. In real life, community halls were generally built for smaller towns or satellite suburbs near schools, churches, main shopping streets, train stations and so forth. Most of these buildings were constructed in the late 19th and early 20th Centuries on council land. In many cases they were funded entirely by the council. They have an important function to play in community life: they host a whole variety of different uses and are rented out to community groups at a very low cost. So things like free amateur theatre, pop-up art exhibitions, Alcoholics Anonymous, flower judging competitions, Cat and Dog fanciers judging, Rotary club meetings, Country Womens Association meetings, Church groups/Bible studies ,etc are all likely to take place in these venues. This BAT is typical of the style: quite utilitarian and non-descript, even though the buildings themselves have classical elements. It is on a 2x3 lot and it is found in the reward menu. It offers a handful of jobs and will boost surrounding desirability for business and residential, as well as provide landmark, park and mayor effects. It needs road, power and water. There is no monthly cost.     Hi again Sim Bros and Sis... These are my second custom lots here uploaded. So this time about the scientist place for meeting, gathering, chit chat, thinking, works, and conferencing (only after covid-19....hehehe). The lots provide you Hall and Office Tower in separate files. There are not many dependencies, only requires: - BSC files (Essential & Props) - bldgprop_vol1.dat - bldgprop_vol2.dat The buildings after plopping will generate income and cost but not too worry about that...they will make you fun....hopefully...enjoy playing!!! By the way...I am developing a lot with multi building and multi purpose (MUBUMUPU)...wondering huh???...never see one lot with many buildings (not props) inside?     Exactly one year after my first upload, I present to you something new. Keillor Hall is an ugly little 2x4 remnant of the 60s that I have modded in three different ways: a CO$$ growable, a CO$$ ploppable, and a college. The building and its shorter counterpart are both named for famous Minnesotans, in this case Garrison Keillor. Night scenes come in both Maxisnite and Darknite varieties. The Darknite scene requires Simfox's mod available here. Download and install only one of the two varieties at a time. The CAM lots included in this upload require the Colossus Addon Mod. Enjoy! UPDATE 7-2-19: Added an additional non-CAM growable lot. Thanks to @Tyberius06 for pointing this out!

The building and its taller counterpart are both named for famous Minnesotans, in this case Prince Rogers Nelson (better known as just Prince). Night scenes come in both Maxisnite and Darknite varieties. The Darknite scene requires Simfox's mod available here. Download and install only one of the two varieties (labeled DN for Darknite and MN for Maxisnite) at a time. Enjoy!
