Hello. I am not new but have not properly introduced myself. I have been playing Simcity4 since 2000. It is the ultimate city building game in my opinion. I am an aviation enthusiast. I play on a machine that I had built for SC4. It is not connected to the internet. I have met several people through this game and they have proven to be very knowledgable and helpful. At present, I am building Metropolitan France and her overseas departments. I have used considerable "poetic license". It's always a thrill to see what is new. I would be NOWHERE without the modders and contributors whose lots and mods MAKE this game what it is.

HELP! I have done something to my plug-ins that have caused my beautiful huge beaches to disappear. The screenshot with the extended beach is before I saved my city and the one with the reduced beach is how it looks now. Can anyone help me with what mods I used to create the extended beach? My brain is sputtering! Thanks in advance.

I did resolve this problem and in the process learned a lot about terrains, rock, mods etc. I have different mods for the Alps, Northern France, Caribbean, French Polynesia etc. I have a system set up for changing the terrain setting and the advice here has helped me to understand how the mods work.

Disregard this question. I have managed to fix it. Not sure how but I deleted and replaced dats and mods until I go it.

BORA BORA - FRENCH POLYNESIA URGENT REQUEST I need some tropical type hotels that can be placed IN the water. I am recreating Bora Bora in French Polynesia. I have the terrain, water and beach mods close to perfect but cannot simulate the hotels in the attached photos. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated!
