My Region somewhere in the northern end of Western Australia. WIP Lleyton-Kimberley Metro Region - currently about 11 million or so people in an environmentally unsustainable region that relies on the short but heavy monsoon seasons to replenish their supplies of freshwater, and is reliant on the import of foodstuffs from across Australia. The benefits of living in a place like this is the affordability of land and homes, the job market being tied to the proximity to Asia and the Middle East and the transitioning of the local economy from an exporter of fossil fuels and minerals to a service based economy with a touch of high tech investment and its long-term development of Solar energy which is transmitted across Australia and even exported via bleeding edge tech to Indonesia and beyond.

Recommended mods? (Help the Noob)
General_santos replied to Liz Hayes's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
The flipside is whether there could be too many mods! I quite possibly have up to 35gb of custom content and i've wrangled the folders and compatibility to a point where there are no conflicts, little to no missing dependencies and the ability to fit my playstyle. I treat the game like a sandbox so the more RCI content the better! If you want a consistent architectural theme you would stick to fewer lots and BAT's and likewise if you wanted a hodgepodge of houses and commercial you would took aat matt325b's homes and Jbsimio shops!- 30 Replies

Please show us your water front property.

Wow @ all these pics . These pics make my waterfront properties look like trash, but at least they give me ideas -
Hello, I would like to bring this to attention http:/arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20081016-net-filters-required-for-all-australians-no-opt-out.html Our Australian "government" plans to start their no opt out internet filter sometime next year. A blacklist would include torrent sites, *beep*, etc. I think this a major step backwards for a country which desires to immerse itself in the global village, and it is a blow to our personal freedoms. It also conflicts with my political beliefs. Your thoughts?

Looks like the government is already trying to silence the critics http://www.smh.com.au/news/technology/biztech/labors-net-gag-worse-than-iran/2008/10/23/1224351430987.html It is appalling what the government is doing just to further its flawed agenda.

When I see the CJ's in the CJ forum I see how well their seawalls are planned out. Everytime I try to set seawalls, they are either hidden or look uneven. Is there any lots or mods that can smooth out riverbanks for seawals or any easy way to set seawalls?
