Port of Tyrell: Terminal Island and Naval Station
20huskies commented on ncamferdam's City Journal Entry in Tyrell: Gateway to the Pacific
This is great and has inspired me to improve my own region's naval bases. I don't think I have the carrier, though. -
A cold December night at the Our Lady of Akita school campus in the city of Oho, Oho Prefecture, Republic of Karafuto.

Work has begun on the Samurai of Christ Cathedral. Named after a real life figure of Japanese feudal nobility, the Blessed Ukon Takeyama gave up his fortune and honor to continue his mission for Jesus and inspire his fellow Japanese Christians.

Description: Church campuses often have beautiful monuments, most of which are too difficult for me to create on gmax. Luckily, a cross is not complicated, but still meaningful to your Christian sims, especially as Christmas approaches. This landmark is built and maintained by the faithful at no cost to your city. Stats: Plop (bulldoze): 0 (33) Lot size:1x1 Wealth: Unassigned Water: 0 Electricity: 0 Pollution: 0/0/0/0 @ 0/0/0/0 Dependencies: The number of times Jesus sinned. -

Description: A Catholic School for your cities. It is named for a 1970s Marian apparition to Japanese nun Agnes Katsuko Sasagawa, giving me an excuse to provide you all with another Japanese/Asian style building. The Catholic Church will fund construction and maintenance, so this is free for your city. Stats: Found in landmark menu, since modding as a school was not working. Plop Cost (bulldoze): 0 (100) Lot size: 5x3 Wealth: Unassigned Water: 21 Electricity: 11 Pollution: 1/1/15/0 @ 2/3/0/0 Dependencies: The number of masters you can serve other than the Lord. -
Our Lady of Akita Catholic School. The building is fictional, but the name is based on a Marian apparition in 1973 Japan.

Description: Stadium Village is expanding and the Llamas are on a winning streak. Stadium neighborhoods take on a character all their own, centered around a facility which can balloon in population for a few hours and bring a boost to local business. This pack contains four BATs, all of which have a ploppable version and three of which have a growable version (I figured no one would want a random building with rooftop stands popping up facing a residential high rise for example). - Quentin's Casa de Nachos (fictional): Nachos are a stadium staple, at least in America. - Yellowcard Diner (fictional): A soccer-themed retro American diner for only the most loyal Llamas fans. - Infield Fry Rule (fictional): A baseball-themed burger and fries type standard American restaurant. - Infusion Coffee and Tea (based on a real company): Infusion fills the role of Starbucks on the island of Guam, where there are no Starbucks, believe it or not. For this building they occupy the ground floor of a small collection of apartments. On the rooftop, there are bleachers inspired by the buildings across the street from Wrigley Field in Chicago. They would be strategically situated to allow more fans to catch a view of your game - adding more seats to a place in your city where there may be limitations on stadium expansion. Stats: Plop Cost: 4400 Bulldoze Cost: 440 Jobs: 21+ CS$$ jobs each Wealth: Medium Growth Stage: 2 (where applicable) Lot Size: 1x2 Power Consumed: 4 Water Consumed: 8 Pollution: varies Landmark Effect: 79 over 19 (where applicable) Mayor Rating Effect: 10 over 256 (where applicable) Dependencies: None, the only props necessary I created and have included in the file and the fans are Maxis sims.- 1 Comment

Description: Vietnamese noodle soup, pronounced "fa" has spawned creative word play by the owners of these shops, who often recognize how to create memorable names that will make customers chuckle ... before eating a bowl of this stuff which is pho real delicious. As the name suggests, these are corner lots. This features a prop family which will randomly select one of the following pho joints each time you plop: - Pho Pho U - Pho Kingdom - By Pho the Best! - Pho Kaufman - Pho You Pho Me (a real life pho place in Koror, Palau) Stats: Lot Size: 2x2 corner Plop Cost (bulldoze): 4400 (100) Jobs: 31 Wealth: Medium Power: 3 Water: 3 Pollution: 1/1/15/0 @ 1/1/0/0 Dependencies: The number of times I have been disappointed by pho. Description: You've heard of dueling banjos and dueling pianos, but the shamisen has proven versatile in the music scene when adopted. Two skilled musicians (or more) could easily rock a packed house curious to hear something different blended into the modern sounds they tend to listen to.
