1. NAM General Support

Yes, I went back and realized that I dragged and dropped the old folder into the NAM, so I had the loading issue. Thank you for your help, I appreciate it! It is now fixed.
2. NAM General Support

Thank you for the explanation @tarkus and @rsc204 - I truly appreciate it and all of the hard work you are doing to keep this game alive with exciting features. @rsc204, I believe that I installed the BTM through the NAM 47 installer - was that not an option? When I upgraded versions a long time ago to the new installer format, I thought i followed instructions to remove the entirety of the old stuff and only used the new NAM ## new installer - I could be wrong. I will double check that, and I will take your suggestion regarding the loading order to see if that fixes it. Again, when I did have that problem with El-Rail Bridges - but then it disappeared and i have no idea why or how it fixed itself. Here is a screenshot to show you what I am seeing. Again, I will try your suggestions and I appreciate both of you taking the time to respond, I appreciate it! EDIT/UPDATE! I did install it incorrectly - it was in my NAM folder - removing it as @rsc204 instructed fixed the issue. THANK YOU!
3. NAM General Support

Hello NAM Team! I have searched for any prior responses to this question, but could not find any. Apologies, then, if this has been asked and answered. I have a problem with my Bullet Train Styled Bridges. When I utilize the plain versions (basically, just the network across the water nothing fancy). When i do this in the last couple versions of NAM, the concrete ground textures follow across the water. This used to happen with certain bridges for the El-Rail network (like the NY looking old steel one). I have tried removing different files related to ground texture and fencing from the NAM folder to see if it solves the issue - it doesn't appear to do so, and just creates the RGB graphic error. Can someone let me know how to fix this? Otherwise I am stuck using HSR bridges as there are no other Bullet Train bridges (that I am aware of), and it doesnt look uniform with the switch in texture. As a side note, if there are any other bullet train bridges i can download, please let me know. Also, I would love to have high-elevated BTM ffunctionality over RHW (i guess that might come from MHW override being installed instead?). THANKS IN ADVANCE for any guidance you can provide!

Do you have a link to the seawalls in pictures 6 & 7? They go beautifully with this custom building as well.
5. BAT Request Thread

Hello SC4 Community! I am asking for the help of this wonderful community with two requests, if anyone wants to take on the project(s). The first request is for a replica of the renovated Denver Union Station. This is a beautiful station that currently has train, underground bus, and GLR (maybe add GHSR?) + shops and offices. I feel like it would be a beautiful addition to SimCity as it mixes old and new. Here is a link to some great photos of what the station went through: https://denverinfill.com/tag/denver-union-station The second request is for a modernized, downtown-styled Sunken Highway Retaining Walls - something of a cross between the complete functionality of @buddybud's fantastic rural sunken highway set and the beautiful modern textures of @Bipin's Concrete Wall Retainers. Specifically, it would be great to get a complete collection with a modern, straight look to it. I love how the ground under the highway is filled in a bit by the existing rural set, and I believe no trees should be able to be placed on it from god-mode. Pieces: 15m and maybe 7.5, with trees and night lighting 1x1 and 3x1 ortho 1x1 diagonal, 1x1 outer corner ortho-diagonal shirt (L+R), 1x1 inner corner ortho-diagonal shift (L+R) 1x1 Under-bridge no ramp (L+R), 1x1 Under bridge with ramps (L+R) 3x1 under-ramp (L+R) Overhang for under T-exchanges, Cloverleaf, and others if possible. 1x1 ortho highway or electronic highway signs, including exit signs. Here are the links of what I am talking about that exists: I know that these are potentially hefty projects to take on! I just am lightyears behind the skilled artists in our community. If there is anyway I can provide support, I will happily give it. Thanks for your consideration! -JC

14. Jacques D'Arvor / L'Acre International Airport

Oh no! I am sorry guys! I'm at the beach so my internet sucks! I'll fix it when I can!   DARN!
15. Welcome to the Jacques D'Arvor / L'Acre International Airport! This magnificent and large airport serves the city of L'Acre, the largest metropolitan area in the Republic. With an abundance or airlines serving destinations all over Europe and all six inhabited continents, there is virtually no destination that cannot be reached through this airport. As such, it is the main international gateway into the Republic. The airport saw 44,673,116 passengers through its terminals in the FY2012, making it the 22nd busiest airport in terms of passenger volume in the world, in line with San Francisco International Airport (23rd) and the Shanghai Pudong International Airport (21st). In terms of Cargo Handling, the airport moved 2,063,485 tons of cargo in the FY2012, putting it just behind Frankfurt Airport and ahead of Tokyo Narita International Airport for the 10th spot in the world - making the airport the southern gateway in Europe for air cargo exports/imports. In terms of total aircraft movements, the airport saw 482,328 movements, putting it ahead of London Heathrow International Airport and behind Frankfurt Airport for the 12th spot in the world. The airport is located in the state of Astapôr, just 35km south of the city of L'Acre, on the coast. Here is a map of the terminal: The terminal is serviced by a high speed train and rapid bus transit, as well as public access for cars/taxis with ample parking provided. There are three terminals, and 8 concourses. Terminal 1, 3 - Domestic/European Terminal 2 - International (non-European) Concourse(s) A, G - Domestic (destinations in the Republic) Concourse(s) B, E, F (European Continental destinations) Concourse(s) H- Regional Concourse(s) C, D - International (non-European/republic) The airport is serviced by 6 runways, 3 E/W orientation, 3 N/S orientation in a fan-spread design around the airport which can allow for up to 3 simultaneous departures and up to 2 simultaneous arrivals or aircraft without worry of turbulence due to the spread of the planes. Being on the coast allows for one of the runways, 36 R to extend in to the Mediterranean Sea. 16. Jacques D'Arvor / L'Acre International Airport
may i have the links to the airliners omg
Yes! But I will have to search for them when I get back on my computer- I'm on my iPad ;). Anyway for now try to search for ACB VLT series, search around bripizza.net (Japanese sight) and Taibo's sets. The airline models you see in the pictures are B737s, B747-4s, A380-8, one B787-8, A340-6 and A340-5, as well as A330 and A320
17. Jacques D'Arvor / L'Acre International Airport
boy the pier reminds me of the San Fransisco,CA airport. Looks awesome. What program do you use for making terminal maps and such and do you have a link? BTW- I live in Colorado and have ben to the Denver Airport many times- That would be an interesting CJ idea.
I used good ole Word 2013 and Microsoft Visio 2013 my friend. Painful probably compared to anything out there, but its all I know. Also- I live in Colorado and basically live at airports around the world. The thinking behind this airport is the runways on the water like SFO and the curvature terminal design similar to Newark.
18. First City

Nice CJ- there is a plugin that I imagine you would love, and iris for the purpose of removing that yellow pause thingy permanently. Might want to search for it on the STEX!
19. Jacques D'Arvor / L'Acre International Airport
Overall a good airport. If you want helpful criticism, in my opinion, some of the problems would include:   1.) Runway length (these are rather short runways)-To accommodate an A340-600, which I see is the largest plane in the airport by that Iberia A340-600 on the taxiway, the airport runway length would need to be a minimum of 194 tiles to allow that plane to take off. Also, runways aren't one direction, so you should have equal amounts of markings/lighting/approach systems on both sides. 2.) Terraforming (I notice that runway 9 is sort of uneven) 3.) Runway Designations, the runway numbers are based on the heading of a compass. The runway number 36 for example would indicate that a runway is facing North, 18 for South, 9 for East, and 27 for West. In this airport, 17 is at a right angle with Runway 36, and Runway 9 is parallel to Runway 36. I realize that may be a bit stupid to point that out, but you did ask for criticism :P. For pilots, that's kind of like dividing by zero lol. 4.) The water runway has barriers on the seawalls that look like they may be a hazard to planes. I realize there's nothing you can really do about that, but this is criticism after all.   Anyways, I'm just being an a-hole James. Take my criticism with a grain of salt. :P This is a very beautiful and scenic airport, and you definitely look like you've put a lot of time and effort into it. The terminal layout is rather creative, and I like how everything isn't orthogonal. Nicely done and 5/5 from me! :thumb: Btw, awesome to have Valencia back!
Thanks Man! You are right, I do want criticism, otherwise I cannot improve :) I will definitely try to include these improvements. I thought runways might go both ways, but I was not sure. And the numbering system will have to be fixed. Lastly, I used the sea walls because they looked cool, but I hope in real life that those particular ones are never used because they might hit the sea walls!! As far as the really uneven ground in the upper right hand corner, that was unavoidable- for some reason the game kept crashing if I tried to flatten that area or the area of land in the bottom left as well. So that I had to pretend it was just flat.. Thanks guys!
20. Furthest Out - Servilleaux

Welcome to the coastal town of Servilleaux, located on the northern tip of Rïsa. Population 465,000 Established: 1903 Background: The city was established as a new economic region by the regional municipality in Italy. After WWII and the reunification of the Republic, the island was sold to Valencia, and was given a French name. Now, let's take a look at some transportation maps to get an idea of how to get around the city. Here is a map of the major transportation systems in the city/region Originally the city was barred from outward expansion due to preservation of the surrounding lands from 1950 to 1991. Thus with a tourist and shipping boom in the 1970s and 1980s, the city exploded in population so that the city center grew skyscrapers that are uncommon among cities so small. To prevent an ugly sea of skyscrapers and to allow for suburban growth, the restriction was lifted in 1991. While a dense subway system and access to rail served the crowded downtown, an extensive tram system and intercity high speed rail system was built to connect the sprawling suburbs to the city center and main train station. Here are some images from around town: Thanks for viewing, and as always please rate and comment with any criticism/ideas etc. Thanks, Happy Summer!
21. Furthest Out - Servilleaux

So this isn't the exact model, but its something similar to what I was talking about - I'll continue to search though. http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/11981-ndex-nss-nitro-by-fosterk/

24. Welcome back! As a supplement to my recent post of the interior hub, Vidyian City, this is the main airport that serves the city, just to the North. In my previous journal, you may have noticed there was an airport inside the city. That airport is a government owned security airport, used for flying in high value shipments directly to the South Industrial Zone, for military emergencies, the travel of political figures, and of course evacuations if needed. The airport featured here, to our knowledge, is purely civilian (although its name suggests otherwise). Once again, we thank the Vidyian Metropolitan Transit Authority for providing the aerial shots and maps. To begin today's journal, here is the map of the location of the airport, about 20 miles due north of the metro area of Vidyian. It is located on the edge of the Du'at River, is border to its south by farmlands that supply the interior province, and is bordered to its north, east, and west by the Moorwhich National Forest. Here is a more detailed image of the airport itself. Here is the aerial view of the airport: East Concourse/Terminal Gates West Concourse/Terminal Gates Both Runways were built on low rise cliffs. This would not be an unusual landing design when compared to other airports in the world if it were not for the high wind gusts that come out of the west. These winds have caused a 2 planes so far(especially those with winglets) to veer off the runway before touchdown and land in the river. Luckily, no deaths have occurred. Here is a look at the airport road cutting through the farmlands, connecting the airport to the major highway I-45, which flows through Vidyian to the South (seen in previous entry) and Moorwhich to the North. Here are some photos: As always, thank you again for viewing. Please rate and comment, and always feel free to share ideas and improvements. May everyone viewing this have safe travels this holiday season, and of course, Merry Christmas! JT
