Project Introduction
Hi everybody! I'm starting an impossible project to build a town I am very familiar with - Tempe, AZ. Yes, I want to start by admitting it is essentially impossible to meet my own requirements, but that's partially why I chose it. First, I definitely wanted something with rigid guidelines--I think accurately recreating reality is probably one of the most rigid guidelines available in a simulation. I also wanted something that would expose me to a wide variety of custom content creation, and I think I will easily get the chance to BAT, lot, and mod all kinds of plugins with the region chosen. Most importantly though, I wanted to work on something that I could obviously not finish. Otherwise I might get too obsessed with getting it completed, or too overwhelmed and unwilling to admit defeat. This way I can just let it go, and move on to other things as necessary, or just as easily drift back into the project and add a little bit after a period of dormancy. That being said, this isn't a throwaway project either. If you'd ask me five years ago if I'd miss this place when I was gone, I'd give a quick "no," but here, on the eve of my departure, I find myself seeing good qualities in so many places and feeling oddly nostalgic. Before anyone gets all weepy-eyed though, let's look at a quick rundown. The first region I'd like to work (and the one for which I'd like the highest accuracy) is the main campus of Arizona State University and downtown Tempe. I worked a long time on scaling the tiles against the map until I got something that I liked, matched roads decently, and felt reasonably accurate. And what do you know, it turned out to be quite close... the width of this part of town is around .85 miles and it was 88 tiles, which is roughly .88 miles. Perfect! (click for larger) Google Maps view (click for larger) Dark gray represents avenues, light gray represents streets and roads, dark green represents GLR/GLR-in-road, and peach areas are pedmalls. The numbered blue rectangles are the lot shadows of buildings I'm considering, and the magenta outlines are network pieces I'd like to do. I've chosen potential BATs based on uniqueness of architecture, difficulty of creation, and utility in other situations. I think most of the buildings could be rebranded as RCI lots in other people's cities, assuming my work ends up good enough for public consumption. Next time I'll look into some of the buildings I've selected, show current screens of the city, and demonstrate my first work-in-progress. Thanks for reading! -

Closing the Book
Well, I think I'll sum it up in one word and say this CJ is a Dissapointment But that's okay. I've moved on to bigger and better things. I'll admit, the content in here is kinda crappy, and all it's doing now is wasting server space. So let's forget this abomination and check out my new CJ. I might decide one day that this thing is salvageable, maybe, and continue. I doubt it though. Thanks for any of you that took the time to comment here. I wouldn't have. So I'll see you around, and don't look at this stuff and think you can judge my skill off of it. When I started this thing, I didn't even know BBcode. So don't get me wrong, I'm all smiles leaving here, all I do is urge you to check out Terra Nova instead of this one. Thanks for your time. Later... - 8

What's Happening Now Bradley boasts a brand new international airport. Before the new international airports, county residents were required to drive to Miller County for any international flights. The old airport was completely demolished and moved across the street to its new home. A new shopping area opened in the former airport's home. The county also released an official map for new and old residents alike. The cities' grid system for roads makes travel fairly easy across the county; the only damper in traveling is the New Zealand river, which separates the two cities of Bradley and West Bradley. The downtown governmental area of Bradley has been revamped. The area is much more open now and offers plenty of plaza area for festivals, speeches, gatherings of many types, vendors, tourists, and more! The city is quite proud of the downtown area. The new design was paid for, in part, by the country. News Headlnies from 2042-2051 2043 *Bradley County voted #1 place to relocate in the world. *Fire destroys West Bradley post office and city office. The fire remains under investigation. 2044 *Massive flooding effects the country when the New Zealand River overflows its banks in many areas. Damage estimates in Bradley County are over $1.6 billion. 2045 *Snyper opens fire in downtown Bradley injuring 32 citizens. Surprisingly no citizens were killed in the attack. The suspect was a former government worker distraught following the severe flooding last year which claimed his house. *City zoo adds major zebra exhibit. The new exhibit attracted zoologists from around the world. *City of West Bradley embarks on worldwide tour to draw international companies to the city. Major tax incentives are available. 2046 *City of Bradley schools adds a record 114 new teachers for the 2046-2047 school year. Student enrollment increases over 25%! *City of Bradley holds the first ever New Zealand Olympics. The event was a huge success, drawing an estimated crowd of over 6 million people from across the world. 2047 *The first ever recorded earthquake struck New Zealand. The 3.5 magnitude earthquake caused little damage but could be felt across Bradley County. *For the first time in 46 years there were no murders in the county. Bradley was subsequently ranked the safest big city in the country and the world. The city has capitalized on this since to attract new residents. *A major construction project lasting 5 years was started in July on Bradley Avenue, one of the main roads linking Bradley and West Bradley. The Bradley Ave. bridge will be closed in 2052 as the last leg of the construction project. 2048 *15 doctors from the city of West Bradley were recognized for their contributions to the uprisings in France. They saved the life of 137 villagers after they were poisened by a group of anti-government rebels and left to perish. The antidote, found only from the rare Grapple Tree in New Zealand, was discovered that day. 2049 *Taxes were cut by .7% county-wide, the first cut in the county's history. *The city of Bradley's budget surplus was nearly $425 million, a whopping $300 million over forecast. The city has the money held in various investments to earn the city interest for future projects. 2050 *New Zealand celebrates 50 years as a country! Bradley hosts a large celebration in the newly opened downtown plaza. 2051 *Major snow storm shuts down the county from January 6th through January 9th with 14 inches of snow reported at the Bradley International Airport. The city averages just 15 inches of snow every year. The storm set a new record. On January 7th the low temperature plumeted to -5 degrees Fahrenheit, the coldest ever recorded in the city. Remarkably on January 11th the high temperature reached 74 degrees Fahrenheit, causing moderate flooding.- Read More

Canada
Welcome to the beautiful country of Canada! The western part of the country is just beginning to develop. The current major economical center of the country is Linn County, home of the city of Cedar Rapids. The country is divided into counties. The terrain varies from flat to quite rugged. Farming is not a major economical factor of this country, as the soil is surprisingly quite poor. The country relies heavily on its neighbours for a variety of resources. Canada offers the quality of life that most other countries are jealous of. While taxes are quite high, the government takes very good care of all of its citizens. Watch as our wonderful country grows! -

Mahini Beginnings
The island of Mahini is a beautiful place from the small mountain range to the beaches. This marvelous creation and island was once uninhabited, but discovered around the 21st century. This is the growth and creation of Mahini. People believe that Mahini could be the next Hawaii, or tourist destination. For now, it is just a home for a couple thousand people. Here is the main beach near the bay called Rocky Palm Beach. Filled with rocks and beautiful palm trees (and don't for get the reef) this is a beautiful sight. North of the Rocky Palm Beach are the Mahini Island Mountains. The highest peak, Mount Kahu, was once an ancient volcano that erupted several thousand years ago, which created the island. It is estimated to go off every 100 years. The problem for the Islanders is that, they don't know how much longer it is until the next eruption. The beginnings of civilization in Mahini began of March 21, 2002. Below is the Mahinian Flag (There is white in the flag. The white is mixed in with the background). Here is the city a couple months after colonization began. The wind farm is the source, and will be the source of the main island. It is out of the way on the other side of the mountains and easy to get to. Here is the small little town of about 2,500 people . This is the Mountain View High School and Mountain View Elementary School. Education is very important to Mahitians so a brand new library was placed across the street. Here are the island's first luxury condominiums. More hope to be here in the far future, but for now, just alot of expansion. There is also the Sunoco Gas Station for the cars to fill er up. A small little island town it is, but there is so much spirit in the island. So much history and such a beautiful place to live. This is only the beginning. PLEASE RATE AND COMMENT!!!! THANKS -

Expansion, Danger and Entertainment, OH MY!
The Expansion north begins! Road construction is under construction as seen below. The west coast of Minnville starts to populate as well as people begin to build there houses and move in. In the middle of it all, the first fire in Minnville breaks out, and spreads. Investigators believe that the fires were most likely acts of arson. Fire spreads spreads and endangers the Minnville International Airport. Airplanes are radioed to land at the nearest airport until further notice. The result of the fire is a deystroyed airport. The Mayor Lewis has declared that the airport be rebuilt as soon as soon as the fires are extinguished. To the far east coast of Minnville (East Beach), a boardwalk has been built that stretches to Northern Minnville. Businesses and housing has built up along East Beach. At the other end of the Each Beach Boardwalk, in Northern Minnville, development has spurred and is a major attraction for the city for the shopping and entertainment located all within a couple blocks. And don't forget those beautiful beaches Just south of Northern Minnville and north of Downtown Minnville, residential areas have grown and now stretches from downtown to the entertaining north. A new soccer stadium has been built for the new Soccer team. Next to it is the stadium for the local high school team. Thanks for following this journal. Please rate and comment;) more to come -

Coronation
Welcome back, folks! Don't let the title confuse you.. we're still officially in the neighborhood of Churchway. Only, today we'll be focusing around true heart of Churchway - Coronation Park. Last time, I showed you the commercial heart of the neighborhood of Churchway. However, this is truly the pride of the neighborhood, Coronation Park. Built in the late 1950's, the park was a celebration of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, and has been continually added to as time has passed. Merely a greenspace originally, a public observatory was added soon after the opening of the park, which can be seen at the top. The large globe, and the structure to the left of it is the Space and Science Center, soon to be renamed the Telus World of Science, to fall in line with similar centers in Edmonton and Vancouver (all with the same sponsorship, as you might have guessed). The globular structure was the original center, built in the mid-70's, and includes a massive upgrade on the old observatory. The center includes 5 permanent exhibits, as well as a huge gallery space for such visiting exhibitions as Body World and Lego exhibits. The city and the province are working on plans to dramatically expand the facility, although no firm details have been announced. On the south side of the park, we have Tommy Douglas High School, as well as Coronation Pool and Coronation Rinks. All three were built in the mid 1970's. To the north is continued residential. The apartments, Mayflower Towers, are basically your average middle class apartments. Nothing fancy, but certainly not falling apart. A closer shot. And just assorted fast foot joints along 142 St. Thanks for looking, hope you enjoyed the update! - 35

1560-1570 The Kreigan War
(authors note- I know it has been almost a year since my last post, the reason being is that I haven't had the time to do so, and also, I haven't played simcity 4 that much either. Please forgive the excessively long delay and I hope to create more entries as my summer goes by.) The Kreigan War 1560-1570 In the years following the MSRV's takeover of Mertucia, there was civil unrest within the town of Kreigan Atoll. In fact, several citizens believed that if they could defeat the Yandavarans 60 years ago, they could most certainly defeat the Venetians. In 1560, they rallied the citizens and attacked the main Venetian outpost in Kreigan Atoll. The attack was a very unsuccessful one. This action angered the Doge and the Venetians countered. The counter attack burned the rebellious citizens homes leaving a pile of rubble and ashes. But the Venetians didn't stop at just a few citizens homes. To anger the citizens more, they burned down several buildings in Mertucia along with their cathedral. The overthrown government then addressed the citizens saying "Leave this to us, Do not get involved. We'll take care of them." Armed with magnificent ships and swords (since they discovered an iron deposit under New Ravenna.) They pleaded for help from Yandavara and since Yandavara despised the MSRV, they agreed to help. And together, the two countries fought against the MSRV. The two opposing sides met outside Mertucia where a battle broke out. Mertucia and Yandavara won the battle, but not the war. After several battles, the two forces agreed to talk peace terms. Since MSRV was on the winning side, Mertucia had to give up Kreigan Atoll and New Ravenna. Yandavara had to give up San Vertucia. The Most Serene Republic of Venice would rule most of Haludua for quite sometime. Until, their power weakened in the region. Spoiler? I think not.- Read More

Good News?
Hello people! I have some good news. I found a backup folder of the Whitevale region on an old DVD hiding deep in the darkness of one of my drawers in my room. The only problem is, the folder is outdated about 4 or 5 months... So I would have to rebuild tons of stuff which will take some time. If I ever have the time, I might do it, but I have already started a new region and I am going to stick mostly to that for some time. Here is a picture of the region in it's current state. It has about 7,000 people which is about a third of the size it was at the time my PC died. - 18

SPECIAL EDITION - Daloa Sights
Note: If you bug me enough about not updating, I will update. We continue on to Daloa, picking a small hotel near the train station. Some people decided to check out the nearby nightclub, Twisters. It's quite an interesting sight. The next day, we take Daloa Light Rail to Daloa University (DU). We arrive in Nick's Nook, the relatively new shopping area of campus. At the main building, we meet up with our tour guide. We visit all of the major buildings and some dorms, and then return to Nick's Nook for lunch. After lunch, it was one DLR stop to the Government Center, the governing center of Abbot (Illu'an province) and Daloa. From there, we had an additional tour of both the Municipal Building and the State Government building. Currently the Congress Building and Governor's Street are off limits. Once the tour was finished, we visited the old Daloa City Hall. Once upon a time, all government functions of Abbot were located in this building. The Treaty of Daloa was also signed in this building, marking an end to the Puget Sound War. Once the learning is all said and done, there was (more) shopping/wandering in the sunset. ***I need from you*** 1. Do you see any possible improvements for Daloa? 2. Would you like to continue sightseeing, or continue on to Colbitz? (maybe a third option?) 3. What specifically would you like to see in the next update? - 48

Winterfield & Berkley - NWA
After another long absence of me, a new entrey - hurray! In this update we are looking at one of the oldest nuclear powerplants in the country, Abney Hall. Build in the 1960's, it was the first nuclear reactor to provide energy on a commercial basis. In these days however, especially with recent controversys about nuclear power, Abney Hall is under constant criticism from all sides, the operating company is considering reducing the plants output. The powerplant is located near the small village of Winterfield and lies next to the sea and approximately 20 miles south west of Burton and 8 miles south of the NWA. It consits of 3 blocks (A,B & C), however, block C is undergoing a refurbishment and block A might be shut down in the coming years. The village of Winterfield however, has suffered from the power plant, mainly poplulation wise. Most people simply do not want to live next to a power plant and the population of Winterfield is decreasing since many years. Soon, this might be a ghost town. Abney Hall, with blocks A, B & C (from left to right). The construction of a new cooling tower has just begun near block C. A close up of "central" Winterfield. It once used to be a town on the uprising of the entire euphoria of nuclear power during the 60's but now it is more of a shadow of itself. Being located right between and Airport and a power plant, it is only desirable for people who have not got the money to move away. The only nice thing here is the pebble beach opposite the town hall. An overview of Winterfield and Abney Hall. And now we move on, just a few miles north of Winterfield and about 10 miles west of Burton is the town of Berkley and the North West Airport (NWA). NWA is the 10th busiest Airport in the country with around 6 million passengers in 2010 and the 2nd biggest airport in the county, after Abbey-Upon-Tyne International. It is located directly on the coast and just a stone throw away from the small town of Berkley. Berkley itself is a town with a long history of being a farming and fishing town. However, in 1966, the county decided that a new airport was needed to connect the growing city of Burton on a international level. A new motorway alongside with railway tracks were build along the coast and into Burton. However, this had positive as well as negative impacts on many small seaside towns, such as Berkley. The town itself has no direct connection to the sea anymore, however, it is very well connected to the rest of the county and the nation as a whole with about a train leaving every 10 minutes from the Berkley Station. The town of Berkley with Terminal 2 in the backround. Due to the landscape, there was no possibility to have a trainstation at the terminal. The only way to get to the airport is by using a shuttle bus from the Station to each of the terminals. Terminal 2, build in the 1990's for international and bigger planes. The old Terminal 1, now mainly used for regional and flights into the bordering countrys. A AirFrance machine waiting for takeoff at the Taxi whilst a BA flight from Berlin is just landing. The name NWA simply comes from being the far North-Western airport in the country. In this picture, you can see that the town is, due to the railway, the motorway and the airpot, cut off from the sea. Comments and ratings are, as per usual, welcome and appreciated. Feedback: NYCisbig: Thank you for your comment. TekindusT: Thank you too, it is always good to hear from you. RL really takes its toll at the moment, my CJ updates will sadly become more and more sporadic I think... armpit43: Nah, it isn't that Crewe, I just took the name. - 26

The Overview of previous updates
So, I decided to bring The Optimia Magna back for a while, and take a break from my new popular CJ Slovakia. For, now, I made some new pictures and edited them again, to provide you short summary of this CJ. So, look. The Optimia Magna is City Journal about alternate history of Roman Empire. The city mainly portraited there is city of Optimia, fictional city from roman times located in the southern Anatolia, being one of the largest and most important cities in whole Empire. One of the largest and most interesting city quarters is the Canal City. Another parts of city are also worth visiting, like Gardens of Leonidas located near Grand University... ...Or beautiful small hilly island Isla Imperialea located on the south of city. But, this CJ was portraiting much more cultures, contacted by Romans through the alternate history timeline, like well known Germans... ...and also Chinese Empire on East. There was also long and devastating war between Rome and China, but, nobody won and peace was soon estabilished. Another major city portraited there was also well known Alexandria. The Roman Empire also sailed far away to the western waters, discovering remnants of mythical Atlantis and new cities were founded there... ...and they also reached Terra Nova, the America, with civilisation of Maya. But, after centuries, there happened also many interesting events, like Imperial Revolution and estabilishment of second Roman republic. This all was The Optimia Magna... - 38

3 - Haverford: The Seat of Power
Just a quick note, but I'll be updating my city journal relatively fast since most of the major areas in my region has been completed. Things will definitely slow down once I start school again. In any case, in this update we will be looking at the capital of Norfolk; the city of Haverford. More specifically, the administrative areas where policies are made and scandals are unearthed. Like many of its counterparts in most other states, Norfolk's Capitol building is largely modeled after the United States Capitol. Unlike it's Federal counterpart however, the dome's styling remains fairly ornate; a point of pride among many state government employees. This is where both houses of the State Legislature caucus; the Governor also has his office in this building. Memorial Square sits right in front of the Capitol building. This area is most known for its war memorial, honoring the servicemen who have died in past wars. This picture was taken right on Memorial Day, hence the ceremony you see pictured. Flanked by the memorial are cafés and restaurants popular with government employees. This area is also a favorite meeting spot for lobbyists to meet with politicians. Also visible are the Haverford clock tower, and the Imperial hotel. Also in memorial square is the gentlemen's club, "the Moulin Rouge" frequented by a number of politicians. To its right is the famous Excelsior hotel. As you can imagine, the combination of these two businesses have resulted in a number of scandals over the years Many groups have wished to tear the Moulin Rouge down time and time again; especially when a new scandal erupts. Usually such protests die down as the news media turns its eye to a new story. Besides, the business has its own team of well financed lobbyists in the Capitol; they remain unwilling to relocate from this highly lucrative area. To the top is Haverford's museum of state history; holding many exhibits detailing Norfolk's history since its settlement in 1615 by Jacques Moreau. To the left you have the headquarters for Capitol News. Capitol News is an independent news outlet that is primarily financed by donors and partial state funding. While also covering local city news, their main focus remains on reporting the dealings in Norfolk's political scene; they have blown the whistle on a number of scandals over the years and has often kept the pressure on politicians. Near the Capitol News HQ are a number of buildings housing much of the bureaucratic activity in Haverford. These buildings were largely built in the 1960's as can be seen by their modernist architecture. The Richard and Karen Carpenter Center for the Preforming Arts(better known as the Carpenter Center) is a popular venue for musical, theater and dance events. The Carpenter Center is largely a result of a sizeable donation by the entrepreneurial couple Richard and Karen Carpenter in 1965. They were known for their financial services company R&K Investment Group originating right in the city of Haverford. This is the location of the State Supreme Court. They have recently gotten a lot of attention in the national media for a number of its judicial interpretations of the State Constitution; especially with respect to gay marriage and marijuana legalization. A number of out-of-state conservative groups have financed ballot initiatives to repeal Supreme Court opinions during election years; usually ending up wholly rejected by Norfolk's electorate. The Library of Norfolk is the de facto state library. It is a relatively recent addition to the city, with construction completed in 2005; replacing the old dysfunctional library that had been there previously. With ample open spaces, greenery and a massive collection of books, media and research material; it remains a popular spot for many of the city's educated residents. A number of hotels (including the previously mentioned Excelsior Hotel) and upscale residences are located within the area. With many of the legislators coming in from other parts of the state; these hotels and housing options are a convenient place for politicians to reside during their time in Haverford. Well then, that's all for now! The next update will detail Haverford's Downtown area. I will however finish this entry with a mosaic. (my first one actually, I'm rather pleased how it turned out)- Read More

REPLIES: epigone: Thanks for your comment! The wait is over... terring: Thank you for stopping by, Elias. Your comments and feedback are appreciated DCMetro34: Hey there, DC, nice to have you here! NMUSpidey: Actually, it stands for United Union of Simnation, but nothing is set in stone....who knows, it could stand for that Wow, a five star rating with one update? That would be awesome! Thanks to everyone for their comments and feedback, this is the kind of stuff that keeps me going! UPDATE TIME! Okay, okay, I knew you guys would love that pic. Sad news is that the only part of that city that is done is the part that I took the picture from. DON'T WORRY, you'll see it, just in another (soon to come) update. THIS update focuses on a sudden wave of interest I got in RHW interchanges. I was wanting to make a realistic looking, unique, three way interchange. To make it realistic I would uses grade separated overpasses, lighting, FARHW, signage, etc. I was very pleased with the result. Here is the fruit of my labors, in a step by step process. ENJOY! A note about my pictures:I take all my pics in full screen. As a result, they are massive. I resize them to 800x600 to keep loading times down and to make sure they fit all monitors. However, if you would like to view them in full size (I can't remember my resolution, I think it's 1024x?), all you have to do is click on the image. 1.1: I'll start out with a nice piece of land from Santa Barbara. Here, I'm using: Olympic Terrain Mod Olympic Coast Tree Controller Brigantine Water (Though visible in this pic) 1.2: The site of this 90 degree curve will be where the interchange goes. I have leveled the area and turned the grid on: 1.3: I build the first ramps. The north side is graded using land and the south isn't. You'll see why later: 1.4: I needed space to make the FAMIS connection: 1.5: Next, I build the Southbound-Westbound connection ramp. 1.6: For the Eastbound-Northbound ramp, I use a FARHW 6s-Dual 4 splitter and tunnel it under the main overpass area: 1.7: I finish the loop ramp and add the final connection, Westbound-Northbound. The interchange is almost complete... 1.8...It just needed some landscaping and eyecandy. There is the finished interchange. The highway coming from the bottom is the WestboundxEastbound, as is the one from the right. The new freeway is the one going north out of the shot. You like it?: 1.9: And here is a directional guide: Kudos if you can spot my fail That's all the time I have right now. Comments and feedback are welcome. Start day.
I am a long time player of SimCity ever since the original version. I have never been very successful at this latest version though and have put it down in frustration several times. However this time I have found Simtropolis and have learned much about the strategies to making a great city. I figure if I am going to be here and I am going to be starting a big ambitious project I might as well share it with the community. I don’t plan to make up any fake history or tell any great stories but I will share my intentions, plans, frustrations and progress as I go along and maybe someone out there will find it entertaining or even learn some small tidbit along the way. The title might show my age a little as it is a twist on a very old song but it is intended to imply that I will be recreating Jacksonville FL (JAX is the local abbreviation) not as it is, but as it could be. The map: I wanted to include as much of the RL city limits as possible which is a sizeable adventure and I found a map that would best fit my needs on the STEX. NHP Jacksonville Florida By blade2k5 1 I also downloaded the SC4mapper program needed to make use of this map however I have as yet not installed it and figured out how to use it. From Village to Town
Park Hwan is now a name that people in the region are beginning to recognise, though would not excited to talk of it, or know what is there. More people have moved into the area, prompting some shops to spring up, and something of a central location to call Park Hwan is forming. <a href=" title="SimCity 4 2011-05-27 16-14-47-68 by joel.littler, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5230/5776040828_359f27f66b_b.jpg" width="1024" height="819" alt="SimCity 4 2011-05-27 16-14-47-68"></a> Housing and shops are also beginning to spring up near the temple on the hill. It is a popular area for newcomers, especially those that have tried to escape rice farming. <a href=" title="SimCity 4 2011-05-27 16-11-13-17 by joel.littler, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2225/5776027814_2aa87d84d3_b.jpg" width="1024" height="819" alt="SimCity 4 2011-05-27 16-11-13-17"></a> <a href=" title="SimCity 4 2011-05-27 16-13-48-39 by joel.littler, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.static.flickr.com/5107/5775490519_ea5accf5b9_b.jpg" width="1024" height="819" alt="SimCity 4 2011-05-27 16-13-48-39"></a> More wealthy citizens are moving into the town, and settling at the bottom of the temple's hill. <a href=" title="SimCity 4 2011-05-27 16-19-41-84 by joel.littler, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2422/5776049624_89f237b7a5_b.jpg" width="1024" height="819" alt="SimCity 4 2011-05-27 16-19-41-84"></a> In this new area traditional cobbled streets have been replaced by new asphalt. Lots of new middle class residents are coming to the town, mainly to work in the growing service industry in the small, bustling town of Park Hwan. <a href=" title="SimCity 4 2011-05-28 16-33-40-92 by joel.littler, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3452/5776071158_773b625e2e_b.jpg" width="1024" height="819" alt="SimCity 4 2011-05-28 16-33-40-92"></a> That's all for today! Please tell me what you thought!
