The A4 Gets Customized Yet Further
Hey Everyone and Welcome to Part 19 of My CJ. I got a Reply from someone in the last Entry about 'Retainer Walls' so decided to use my Freshly downlaoded Highway Sound walls to the test by Placing them along the A4: Sadly I couldnt do it all without Raising Residential Homes so I decided to leave a Section Un-touched. A new High Speed Rail Link (BTM (Bullet Train Mod)) was Created from the New Neighbouring city to Mariana : This cost about 1/4 of the Cities Money and the City now has around $200,000 in the Bank. In less Important News, A new House of \Worship was Built after Two Cristian Tribes (only name I could think of) Disagreed and Ended up in a fight. The first Tribe is Still called Christians but the Second Tribe is Called 'Catholics'. Due to lack of water, a new Water Plant had to be Built Just outside the Residential Apartments: Thats all for today Peeps, Any Comments Appreciated along with Links to Mods that you Think might fit in well with a particular Part of the City. Part 20!!! Coming Soon! - 18

Time for another (very) short update --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There once was a time, long since past, when Rock Creek was almost inseparable from its coal. The city's rowhomes depended upon it's warmth to last through the unpredictable Mid-Atlantic winter, while factory smokestack's spewed countless tons of it into the air, coating buildings and lungs with a thick, yet economically reassuring layer of grime. Today, after a series of clean air acts, the sky is noticeably cleaner, and coal is not nearly so visible. Yet it is still vital to the every day economy, forming over 70% of the area's raw-materials trade. Coal has even come to define whole neighborhoods, such as Lignite village, named after the poor quality coal once processed at a local facility. - 9

News: Habrance City Airport Construction
I did post this yesterday, but when I hit publish SImtroplis went into maintainance mode... Anyway this is my first shot at building an airport, ok my 4th shot. Im not an airport builder. Nor am I a terribly advanced Sim City expert so my images may look minimal! Anyway I got fed up of the boring East End of my city, and thought a new floating runway will inject some life to it! Thought I'd give a go on the proposed floating runway on the river Thames in London. Construction on Habrance's second airport started today-Habrance City Airport, after years of planning. Earthworks and land were removed in preperation for construction of the floating runway that will lie in the middle of the river Brance. New Terminal under construction. The Airport Commission of Missanda pledges not to build a secret base under it! Instead it will be under the Hawley Street shopping centre. The airport will relieve up to 60 flights a year from Habrance's exsisting airport at Klerkenwell Heath, which is currently at maximum capacity. Habrance City Airport will be the hub of a new high-frequency service to London City Airport. Operated jointly by British Airways and Missandan Air. -The new "floating" runway will add an impressive sight to potential investors in Missanda! The new terminal, designed by American architect Burns Fishergate is expected to be able to accomodate up to a million passengers a year. The terminal buildings are expected to be open by 2015. The airport will also be linked to Central Habrance by a new express service to Habrance Buchannan Street station, with an expected journey time of 15 mins, on ultra modern electric multiple units. The units are expected to be made my Canadian builder Bombarider in Derby, United Kingdom. More pictures will be posted through construction! Construction on the airport has ground to a halt, as im currently working on my Cross City rail project. Which has slow progress as the game seems to crash evreytime I drag a NAM puzzle piece across the screen! -

Chapter Eighteen: Attack
The fires were nothing more than a flicker now – although they had subsided, they had still gotten the best out of the Town Hall and Ray Black’s offices. More importantly, they had taken the life of Brett Bion, the young man that worked in the office. Ray lay crouched on the floor, holding his lifeless body, weeping uncontrollably. The townsfolk had begun to gather around their leader, hoping to ease him and comfort as he got up and began carrying the orphan down Cross Street. This was a black day in Wildbank. ----------------------------- Tiberius had stormed into Ray’s home late in the evening and told him that the radar sensor was picking up fast moving objects that were racing towards Wildbank. They both feared the worst; ever since they had started mining the Starium, they had been preparing for an attack because, inevitably, word was going to get out. They were as prepared as they could be – they had developed five AA-Ones, Tiberius’ heavy artillery vehicle comprised of armor made of Starium, which was almost impenetrable. Three of the AA-Ones were stationed alongside the northwest watch post, and Tiberius had already informed them to take their positions. Sheriff Turner Tower had gathered up his troops, and was waiting on the command from Ray to start heading over to the watch post, which was equipped with missiles that were capable of packing quite a punch. The objects were coming towards Wildbank were not many, but they were moving very fast. So fast, in fact, that Tiberius starting thinking they were flying objects. It didn’t take long for the men to reach the watch post, but Ray had stayed behind and called back the remaining two AA-Ones from the Starium mine to help protect the town if the first defenses were breached. Tiberius and Sheriff Tower had both headed up to the watch post and were setting up their defenses there – the initial scouting reports suggested Tiberius was right; at least two of the objects were air motors, and only two forces had such technology: the Earthen Alliance, or the Haven Republic. Ray had a feeling it was the latter. Whoever was coming at them had not done their homework – it was as if they did not know about the watch post or the weaponry Wildbank and its people possessed. As they advanced closer and closer to the northwest watch post, Tiberius gave the signal to fire the first batch of missiles. The AA-Ones were kept out of the first round, however; he wanted to save them for whatever was coming at them from the air. As the approaching motorcade got into firing distance, the missiles fired directly into them, blowing up the ground below them and bringing back memories of the successful battle they had against Jim Benstrike and his men. This time, however, when the dust settled, there was still movement; a lot of it. Tiberius again gave the signal for the second round of missiles to fire, and just like the first time, they hit their targets dead on, but again, out of the dust came the invaders. The missiles had dealt some blows, but they were not strong enough to stop them. As they got closer, they saw two jetcopters flying towards. Starting to get nervous, Tiberius ordered his men to bunker up and prepare for a gun fight, and gave the go ahead for the AA-Ones to launch their missiles at the jetcopters. If they were able to get past the watch post, the jetcopters would need less than a minute to get to Wildbank, were they could lay waste on the town. They had to be stopped. The AA-One missiles screeched into their air and headed directly to their targets. At the same time, heavy gunfire started being fired at the watch post. The invaders had gotten close enough to use their guns, and bullets were ringing everywhere. As Tiberius took a closer look, he noticed what he had feared all along: on the side of each of those armored vehicles lay the emblem of the Haven Republic. As the AA-One missiles hit their flying target, Tiberius looked on desperately, trying to see if they were successful; he was half right. One of the jetcopters flew straight down, crashing into the hard desert ground beneath it – the other, however, zoomed past the watch post and headed straight to Wildbank. He scrambled to inform Ray that their defenses had been breached, and was eased slightly when Ray told him he had brought back the AA-Ones that were stationed at the mine. He brought his focus to the matter at hand, the gun fight that was ensuing in front of him. Sheriff Turner had made sure his troops were fortified and heavily armed, and it was paying off. While the Republic troops were firing at will, they were not getting through to any of the defending soldiers, who were bunked up in the watch post and behind their vehicles. However, the Republic troops did not have that luxury, and the longer the battle lasted, the more of their troops started falling. Seeing that, the Sheriff asked Tiberius for one final round of missiles – the last batch available at the watch post. Tiberius nodded, and gave the signal. The last hit took the fight out of the Republic soldiers – clearly, they were not expecting a fight of this proportion, and definitely were not expecting one they were going to lose. They had no idea of the type of weaponry that Wildbank possessed, or its will to defend itself. Their retreat was hasty and without warning as they loaded back into their vehicles and drove off as quickly as their tires could take them. Tiberius gave them the order to drive back into town, keeping a few soldiers and the AA-Ones stationed at the watch post. The jetcopter was shot down to the north of Ray’s farms, but not before it had let off two of its own missiles, specifically targeting the center of town, Ray’s offices and the Town Hall. Brett Bion was trying to gather up Ray’s important documents and take them away to hide them, but he was too late leaving the premises. The missile hit the building head on, exploding it into a ball of flames and igniting a fire that scorched on for over an hour. When it was all said and done, Wildbank had suffered the death of six of its young men, including Brett. It defended itself with pride and honor, but it came at a cost. The Haven Republic had been fought back and defeated, and surely it would be downplayed in Janneh City to avoid humiliation, but the tears of Wildbank would not be washed away easily. The fires that raged after the missiles hit. The construction afterwards. ------------------- I am still seeking more participants for The Dunya Project, SimCity's RPG! Canterbury: A Quick Tour and History
History Welcome to Canterbury, the city of commerce! Located near the James River in a very distant country, Canterbury was famous for its scenery, but unfortunately heavy industry polluted much of James River, forests have been cut down to make room for more residents and businesses, which eventually lead to the endangerment and gradual extinction of a unique species of llamas that only exist in Canterbury, and also the region of Haddensfield called Francheska's Llamas (Lama Francheska) People all over the world came to Canterbury to see those rare llamas. Francheska's Llamas lived in the region of Haddensfield in piece for 100,000 year. But all that changed in the 1970s when a ruthless mayor, Grant Polhemus overcome with power and greed gave big businesses and industries tax breaks, and even gave dirty industry the permission to dump their toxic waste into the James River. To make matters worse, unregulated deforestation was rampant, environmental protests were of no use, The mayor managed to turn the citizens of Canterbury against environmentalists. To make matters even worse, Grant embezzled city funds, make deals with Italian AND American mobsters. Near the end of his second term, he was arrested and brought to court and impeached for charges of corruption, obstruction of justice, abuse of power, bribing, double parking, and improper use of a croquet mallet. After the trial he mysteriously disappeared. Many mayors tried to undo the damage caused by mayor Grant Polhemus, with very little success. Luckily in the early 2000s a new mayor was elected, and was the first mayor in several decades to turn Canterbury around. Tax hikes for big businesses and tax cuts for the little guy. Crime has gone down drastically, mass transit systems literally popped up overnight, and once again, Canterbury is now once again famous for its scenery. Standard of living has gone up, education is through the roof. The citizens of Canterbury were so proud of their mayor that they made a holiday and erected a statue of the mayor. He is the only mayor in the history of Canterbury to have a statue erected for. His name is, Christian Alvarez... The Tour Like I said in the "History" section, Canterbury is a hub of commerce. Large skyscrapers dominate the Canterbury skyline. Ever since Christian has become mayor, the city has expanded, almost double its original size. Heading east, on the other size of the James River is where most industries are located. Thanks to Mayor Christian, the CTA (Canterbury Transit Authority) has built dozens and dozens of rail and light rail stations, as shown on the following picture. (Note, districts and points of interests begin and end with a dash, [e.g. -Oakwood-] and train lines begin and end with an asterisk. [e.g. *Peterson-Castle Pines Line*]) After fixing up the damage that Mayor Grant caused several decades ago, the city of canterbury had more than enough money to fix up the James River. Now the river is clean enough to fish off of, and swim in. Mayor Christian had a little slice of Paradise built on its shores. This piece of paradise is called Wrighton Beach. Canterbury is home to a wide variety of different cultures. Where there's different cultures, there's bound to be different religions. In this photograph, there's a Greek Orthodox Church on the bottom. Right above that you can see the Canterbury Mall. The famed Canterbury Mall. People all over the region flock to this slice of shopping heaven! Next to the Canterbury Mall is a CompUSA, where most people buy computers and computer equipment in Canterbury. Canterbury Mall began construction in the early to mid 90s, and was finally completed in 2000. Further north, you'll stumble upon a high wealth district called Castle Pines. One of the nicest places to live in all of Canterbury. This place was constructed shortly after Mayor Christian came into office. Castle Pines is home to hundreds of retirees. The CTA (Canterbury Transit Authority) light rail passes through Castle Pines, the Peterson-Castle Pines Line goes through here. The Peterson-Castle Pines Line makes stops at the South, North, West, and East Castle Pines. At North Castle Pines you can transfer to the Davison-McKinley Line. This line is currently in construction, and will be eventually drop the "McKinley" from "Davison-McKinkey". One of the businesses thriving in Canterbury is this local supermarket, called "Cub Foods" Great place to shop, always fresh food in stock, relatively inexpensive, and the employees are kind, which is the reason why people always go to shop there. After shopping, why not grab a bite at Red Robins? Canterbury downtown as I said earlier is dominated by skyscrapers. You can see Canterbury's skyline from miles away. For some reason, Canterbury built its own version of the Eiffel Tower. Because Major Christian once said, "Why travel hundreds of miles to France, if we can have a piece of Paris here in downtown?" Here's a CTA train in action, near Castle Pines. When the CTA came into commission, they had to deal the issue of where to find metro trains in such short notice. Luckily some distant city upgraded their trains, and heard about the dilemma CTA was facing. So that distant city sold their old trains at a reasonable price to CTA. "These trains are only temporary," said the chief executive of CTA. "We are currently developing the next generation of CTA trains. Hopefully in the not too distant future we will scrap these old colorful boxes and put in service CTA's new generation of metro trains!" Here's a photograph of CTA's current trains that are in service. CTA is expected to put the new generation of trains in service no later than August. In this photo, the CTA train has the ability to turn back into elevated rail trains. CTA also noted that the current trains don't work very well as light rail due to the fact that some parts of the light rail system has sharp turns, and accidents tend to happen, and they will address the issue in their new trains. Here's another photo, it's an Amtrak train going through Canterbury. People from all over the region travel constantly to Canterbury by train, so don't be surprised if you see trains branded from other cities, like for example you see a Chulaville Area Commuter Trail in Canterbury and so on. CTA does not have regional trains, but CTA manages and maintains those railroads leading out of Canterbury. So in other words, you can't take a CTA train out of the city, so instead you have to use the other city's train instead. 7 of 10 people surveyed in Canterbury were confused by this. Well, that was my brief tour of Canterbury. Stay tuned for more updates. -

City of Eden
Welcome to the City of Eden Municipality Center! I hope you will enjoy this little tour around the city. A city founded by the Arthmeric pilgrim Paulus Andreus in the year 800 bc under the name Edenbury. Much has changed since, but the importance of the forest remains the same. This is a so called 'Green City' and I'm sure you will understand why in a minute. Today I have chosen to show you a few neighbourhoods in central City of Eden and I'm sure it'll be a blast! This is the Edenbury Old Town. Only a few buildings still remain from when the town was founded some 1200 years ago. The Eden Temple of Beauty is one of them (located on the cemetery grounds in the lower right corner of the picture) and this is where it all started. The Old Town also houses the old Edenbury Train Station, the Church of Captivity and the big box-shaped building in the middle which is the Edenbury Middle School. Then there is the commercial centre of Eden City. East Hampton! This is where you go to get that local venison delicacy your taste buds are always craving for. After the meal you can always take a walk around the block for a stop at one of the casinos or pay a visit to the local tavern. Some of the notable buildings and sites on the picture are from left to right, the Madison & Son law firm tower, followed by the Hampton Central Station, the Busker's Park, the Hampton Aquarium and the Bank of Eden City tower. This is Brandine, which used to be an official Ville before merging into the City of Eden Municipality. It is an old ville situated at the shore Lake Eden. It is unfortunately known being a home of the lower class but still gets a lot of attention thanks to the Museum of Eden that is located here. That would be the large, yellow building on the picture. Because there are no more places of interrest, we're moing on to the next picture! Ah, yes this is the Eden City Hall. An architectural masterpiece of the 21st century for sure! It is one of the main targets for tourism along with the Beachwalk in the background. You'd think it would be weird to name the place 'Beachwalk' due to the lack of beach, but the Municipality Council obviously didn't care back in 1996 when it was built. Not far from the City Hall you can find the financial district of Pennbrooke. This is a newly founded Ville with big economic importance for the area. Here you can find multiple shopping streets and the famous Chapel of Legend. The Pennbrooke College of Art can be seen in the picture. Here lives my mom! It is the little village of Palmero. It is the location of the Haley Ayden Memorial Hospital and the Palm Tree Inn. The Woodland Cemetery is not to be confued with the Woodland Municipality. This is within the borders of Pennbrooke Ville and is an old cemetery simply covered by trees. The church-like building is not a church at all, but the infamous, haunted Resurrection Chapel. This quaint neighbourhod goes under the name Mistlevine Gardens and is best known for the Eden Tivoli, Green's Zoo and the Church of the Brave. It is the very north-west of central Eden City and is commonly referred to as 'the other side' due to its location on the opposite side of the intercity green belt of Eden Greens, seen from most other parts of Eden City. Lawrenceville and the old Ville of Byrne. This is where you go to find cheap clothes and accessories on sale. Lawrence gets its name from the Lawrence Castle at the top of the picture. Here is the very east outpost of central City of Eden, Everhowl! It is a brand new neighbourhood and as you can see, it is still being built. Here you can see the grand Thumblin' Dice Hotel & Casino as well as the Everhowl College of Music. I believe that was all for today. Sure hope I have at least inspired some of you to build more ECO friendly cities in the future! The next update will be the Gardens of Eden! - 2

A look at Rendon
This time I'll show you Rendon. Here's the overview of Rendon. As you can see, Rendon is still growing and has lots of space for new development which I'll show in a future update... Here are the oldest parts of Rendon... When Rendon needed more commercial zones, the obvious choice was along the road heading out of town... The little neighborhood of Riverbend grew up behind the retail... The neighborhood of North Bend then grew on the north side of the creek... There wasn't enough jobs, so the industrial area expanded... The Rendon citizens had only one way into the industrial area, and of course, that one way was often congested, so a new bridge was built on the south side of the area... And then the old way in was upgraded to a road... The neighborhood of Bridgepoint was built on the opposite side of the creek from the industrial area... That's it for now. Sorry I didn't have an overview shot with Bridgepoint, but something happened to the cp houses in the old residential area and the textures are gone even though I have everything in my plugins. I'll fix that, but to do so now would've meant that the trees would suddenly be infant trees instead of old mature trees. Thanks for viewing and your comments... -TC Greckman -

Lafayette - Life By The Lake
Lafayette is a city located at the edge of Topeka County. It has a distinct skyline that dwarfs that of the city of Topeka. The city itself is very desirable among affluent Sims who seek the high life, with its many department stores and palm tree graced boulevards. Real estate has seen a sore upwards unlike the rest of Topeka County due to two of the county's best prep schools in the surrounding areas. Neighborhood of "Vanessa's Peninsula"- Read More

Located east of the Rennora metropolitan area, New Albany provides urban and suburban living options in a small, relatively compact area all its own. Note: Greater Rennora uses Motina's Greater Vancouver Region map, meaning it will take a long time to make a presentable region view. However, this map provides many diverse landscapes that will allow this CJ to have a little bit of everything.
