Welcome to the country of Cagliari. Cagliari is small series of 3 main islands with a mostly urban population of approximately 1.1 million. Today we fly into the country here are some pictures of the country before touching down in Bridgeport.
  1. After a long and violent war in the Cheryl Islands, Incandian forces push through and invade the remote area of Thaelsburg on the Babrican coast. Below, Thaelsburg Incandian forces had to fight fiercely in the trenches dug by Babrican soldiers expecting the invasion. However, the defenders were overrun but only part of the CIty of Thaelsburg was destroyed, because a peace treaty was signed between Incandia and Babrica in the Grathonian Parliment Building. Thaelsburg after the battle. Grathonian Parliment building in Grath City The treaty declared that Incandia had to pay reparation for damage sustained to Thaelsburg but Babrica would hand over the Cheryl Islands. Below, a map showing the theaters of the war. Sorry for not updating in a while, I just had other stuff to do.

The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn YOU don't know about me without you have read a book by the name of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer; but that ain't no matter. That book was made by Mr. Mark Twain, and he told the truth, mainly. There was things which he stretched, but mainly he told the truth. That is nothing. The story begins in a little Missouri town of Langlem along the Mississippi River. Where Huck has been sent to be civilized by his aunts Polly and Mary. I never seen anybody but lied one time or another, without it was Aunt Polly, or the widow, or maybe Mary. Aunt Polly -- Tom's Aunt Polly, she is -- and Mary, and the Widow Douglas is all told about in that book, which is mostly a true book, with some stretchers, as I said before. Now the way that the book winds up is this: Tom and me found the money that the robbers hid in the cave, and it made us rich. We got six thousand dollars apiece -- all gold. It was an awful sight of money when it was piled up. Well, Judge Thatcher he took it and put it out at interest, and it fetched us a dollar a day apiece all the year round -- more than a body could tell what to do with. The Widow Douglas she took me for her son, and allowed she would sivilize me; but it was rough living in the house all the time, considering how dismal regular and decent the widow was in all her ways; and so when I couldn't stand it no longer I lit out. I got into my old rags and my sugar-hogshead again, and was free and satisfied. But Tom Sawyer he hunted me up and said he was going to start a band of robbers, and I might join if I would go back to the widow and be respectable. So I went back. This has been the first section, check back for more!

6 years and counting. This past year has seen more growth in the county yet. Over one-thousand people now reside within the town of Sandalwood, and nearing 500 in outlying areas of the county as a whole. The sixth year comes to a close though, the warm early-fall weather lasted longer than expected this year. Sandalwood being a normally colder place in the winter, this winter has been strangely mild. The first snow of the year has began to fall, very late though. December 24th is officially the latest recorded first snowfall in the country. 11-1 Sandalwood Central Park was recently completed. It has changed the image of the town completely. The huge urban strip now the centerpiece of the town. 11-2 The Domino Sugar Plant isn't one to skimp on the holidays, despite being in the far north of town. Set up in early May it is now Sandalwood's largest industrial producer, and provides the most income for the entire town. Many residents are still weary about the pollutant, but with all the income it has brought to Sandalwood so far, it looks as if more industry may be attracted. 11-3 Sandalwood has had many Christmas's before. This Christmas however the city council has set up the first town Christmas tree, right out front of city hall in the new Central Park. Flurries continued throughout the night. Partially covering the entire town by morning before the storm picked up. It may only be the first snowfall, but it couldn't have happened on a better day. 11-4 11-5

Greetings fellow travellers! We at the SuperDuperGuides hope you are as much excited as we are with our upcoming guide the the Unified Territories' metropolis and capital city of Banbury-Penton. We aim to bring you up-to-date practical information about traveling around the city as well as hundreds of historical and interesting facts. Some fast facts about Banbury-Penton: Originally an administration centre and major port of then-colonies it later became important manufacture and high-tech centre of the Unified Territories. With its growing importance at the end of 20th Century it was decided the capital city will be moved back to Banbury to directly oversee the nations' major industry that was also heavily influencing the technocratic government. Two decades later the city became vibrant and lively metropolis wher new meets with the old: The fully-planned Imperial Quarter where the government is seated is directly opposed by the small-scale Old Port; the industrial neigborhoods surround the city, yet their wealth allows the numerous residential and commercial districts to grow and to become cleaner then in most other cities. The Unified Territories and you: One of the most developed ex-colonies now stands as a unique country: Where an old-world traditions meet with modern trends - in technology (Did you know that the Unified Territories are no.1 high-tech exporter?), in society and in its enlightened government (no other country has thus far been able to convert to the utmost efficient technocracy). Anyone can feel at home in this vast country with the flavour of old continent.* *)Official text of the Travel Office of the Imperial administration - go to www.visittheterritories.tr Features: *Full transportation guide to the Subway, Monorail and Rail* *Guide around the landmarks including The Ranch, Emperor's Greenway, Old Port and The Embankment* *Practical information for visitors to the Imperial Quarter* *Full-day trip itinerraries (including trips outside of the city* *"Did you know...?" fast facts* Coming soon to your local bookstore. This is not an official entry into my CJ, but I disappeared from Simtropolis for around...... 6-7 months due to my studies. Note that one of my older post dubbed "Flynn Estate" was done on my laptop (which is sadly now broken and cannot be used again, RIP laptop), so from now on I'm working on my computer (which I've actually worked on longer than on the laptop) Over a few days, I will be posting one of my works into this CJ which is seperated into four sections dubbed "Isla de Isabella". As such, here's a sneak preview of the CJ (again, this is a diffeerent computer and also, I'm not good at putting custom contents). Sorry if the image is not to your expectation, it's been to long since I've uploaded a picture. This is a 800x600.
  7. I'm experimenting with road placement in terms of traffic flow: I took lots of pictures to show the progress of each zone placement and road extension The First development: After some time, no more houses came in, so I laid out where the next pod of residential would be. I figured I would have more success if I knew where the residential would go and then I could just base the commercial along the main roads To the right of the zoned residential, I planned for all commercial, but it didn't look good, so I took it out and made a smaller area To keep the areas separated, I added parks and plazas. I don't like the result, and I doubt I'd do that in the future, it looks weird. The other area would be on the other side of the main road. I thought ping ponging back and forth over this main road would lead to even development. But I didn't want to do square swirl residential for all the pods, so I made a terrible shape instead Commercial demand started to taper off, so I held off on zoning along the main road to the left of the new residential area above. Not sure what I wanted to do next, so I killed time and planted tons of different trees. Not realistic by any means, but I'm not worried about that I began to put in a sea port and harbor stuff.... and the game crashed....... but I got something out of this: Create residential pods off main roads, with 2 -3 connections to that main road.

Welcome to Gamat, a Country of Extremes, In this update we will be watching the Facts, History and Culture of Gamat. Gamat Pronounced: /ˈɣamaiθ/ (Gamic: Gamæþ, ALP: [ˈɣam̥aiθ]), described as the Republic of Gamat, is a South Althenan island country in the South Fovazh Area on the South-Althenan Ridge in Adonia. It has a population of about 320,000 and a total area of 103,000 km2 (39,769 sq mi). The capital and the largest city is Kjiadvík, with the surrounding areas in the southwestern region of the country being home to two-thirds of the country's population. Gamat is volcanically and geologically active. The interior mainly consists of a plateau characterised by sand fields, mountains and glaciers, while many glacial rivers flow to the sea through the lowlands. Gamat is warmed by the Gulf Stream and has a Cold/Temperate climate despite a South latitude inside the Liniev Sea and just outside the Anacti Ocean. Gamat has the smallest population among USNW members and is the only one with no standing army. The flag of Gamat (Gamic: Gamæþkur fáninn) The civil national flag of Gamaters is blue as the sky with a snow-white cross, and a fiery-green cross inside the white cross. The arms of the cross extend to the edge of the flag, and their combined width is 2/9, but the green cross 1/9 of the combined width of the flag. The blue areas are right angled rectangles, the rectilinear surfaces are parallel and the outer rectilinear surfaces as wide as them, but twice the length. The dimensions between the width and length are 18:25. (Gamat has a Civil and a State Flag and Both are different) The Coat of Arms of Gamat. The Location of Gamat in Adonia. It started to form about 20 million years ago from a series of volcanic eruptions on the South-Althenan Ridge. The Gamat hotspot is likely partly responsible for the island's creation and continued existence. Early History The exact date that humans first reached the island is uncertain. Ancient Anatheonian coins dating to the 3rd century have been found in Gamat, but it is unknown whether they were brought there at that time, or came later with Fovazh settlers, having circulated as currency already for centuries. Discovery According to Gutnámabók, Iceland was discovered by the Utrovan Explorer ____, one of the first settlers on the Fovazh South Islands, who was sailing from Utrova to the Linergian Islands, but got lost and drifted to the west coast of Gamat. ____ named the country Snæland (Snowland). First Settler The first permanent settler in Gamat is usually considered to have been a Utrovan chieftain named ____. According to the story, he threw two carved pillars overboard as he neared land, vowing to settle wherever they landed. He then sailed along the coast until the pillars were found in the southwestern peninsula, now known as ____. Settlement ____ was followed by many more Fovazh chieftains, their families and slaves who settled all the inhabitable areas of the island in the next decades. These people were primarily of Utrovan, Linergian and Slave Dunirian origin. Some of the Linergian and Dunirians were slaves and servants of the Utrovan/Fovazh chiefs according to the Gamatic sagas and Gutnámabók and other documents. Some settlers coming from the Dunirian Isles were "Hiberno-Fovazh," with cultural and family connections both to the coastal and island areas of Duniria and/or Kehland and to Utrova. Commonwealth In 930, the ruling chiefs established an assembly called the Alþingi (Althing). The parliament convened each summer at Þingur, where representative chieftains (Goðorðsmenn or Goðar) amended laws, settled disputes and appointed juries to judge lawsuits. Laws were not written down, but were instead memorized by an elected Lawspeaker (lögsögumaður). The Alþingi is sometimes stated to be the world's oldest existing parliament. Importantly, there was no central executive power, and therefore laws were enforced only by the people. This gave rise to blood-feuds, which provided the writers of the Gamatic' sagas with plenty of material. Gamat enjoyed a mostly uninterrupted period of growth in its commonwealth years. Settlements from that era have been found in southwest Cadonia and Southern Shayden, and sagas such as Gura saga and Grænlondera saga speak of the settlers' exploits. Christanisation The settlers of Gamat were dominantly pagans and worshipped the Ancient Fovazhan gods, among them Inod, Thaur, Fryr and Fryji. However, by the 10th century political pressure from Althena to convert to Christianity mounted. Civil War and the end of the Commonwealth During the 11th and 12th centuries, the centralization of power had worn down the institutions of the Commonwealth, as the former, notable independence of local farmers and chieftains gave way to the growing power of a handful of families and their leaders. After decades of conflict, the Gamic chieftains agreed to accept the sovereignty of Deden and signed the Old Covenant (Gamli sáttmáli) establishing a union with the Utrovan monarchy. Gamat under Utrovan kings Around the time Gamat became a vassal state of Utrova, a climate shift occurred—a phenomenon now called the Little Ice Age. Areas near the Anactci Ocean such as Gamat began to have shorter growing seasons and colder winters. Fortunately, Church fast days increased demand for dried codfish, which was easily caught and prepared for export, and the cod trade became an important part of the economy. (thus Gamat) then became part of the Fovazh Union, along with Utrova and Deden, with Deden and Utrova as the dominant powers. Unlike Mervey, Deden did not need Gamat's fish and homespun wool. This created a dramatic deficit in Gamat's trade, and as a result, no new ships for continental trading were built. Reformation By the middle of the 16th century, Ernest I of Mellechia began to impose Lutheranism on his subjects. ____ and ____, the Catholic bishops of Deden & Shiland respectively, opposed Christian's efforts at promoting the Reformation in Gamat. In 1602 Iceland was forbidden to trade with countries other than Utrova, by order of the Utrovan government. The Utrovan trade monopoly would remain in effect until 1854. Independence movement In the 18th century, climatic conditions in Gamat reached an all-time low since the original settlement. On top of this, the Leka volcano in Gamat erupted in 1783, spitting out three cubic miles (12.5 km³) of lava. Floods, ash, and fumes wiped out 9,000 people and 80 percent of the livestock. The ensuing starvation killed a quarter of Gamat's population. This period is known as the Mist Hardship (Icelandic: Móðuharðindin). An independence movement developed undern Olaf Jónssón. In 1843 a new Althing was founded as a consultative assembly. It claimed continuity with the Althing of the Gamic Commonwealth, which had remained for centuries as a judicial body and been abolished in 1800. Home rule and sovereignty In 1874, a thousand years after the first acknowledged settlement, Utrova granted Gamat home rule, which again was expanded in 1904. The constitution, written in 1874, was revised in 1903, and a minister for Gamic affairs, residing in Kjiadvick, was made responsible to the Althing, the first of whom was ____. The Act of Union, a December 1, 1918, agreement with Utrova, recognized Gamat as a fully sovereign state — the Kingdom of Gamat - joined with Utrova in a personal union with the Utrovan Tzar. Gamat established its own flag and asked Utrova to represent its foreign affairs and defense interests. The Act would be up for revision in 1940 and could be revoked three years later if agreement was not reached. Great Adonian War and founding of the republic The occupation of Deden by Trentannian Serindriea began on April 9, 1947, severing communications between Gamat and Utrova. As a result, on April 10, the Parliament of Gamat, Alþingi, elected to take control of foreign affairs, electing a provisional governor, Jón Olafssón, who later became the republic's first president. During the first year of the Great Adonian War, Gamat strictly enforced a position of neutrality, taking action against both Trentannian/Serindriean and Posilliponian forces violating the laws of neutrality. Following a referendum, Gamat formally became an independent republic on January 5, 1949, while Deden was still occupied by Trentannia. Despite this, the Utrovan Tzar, ____, sent a message of congratulations to the Gamic people. Republic of Gamat Gamat had prospered during the course of the war, amassing considerable currency reserves in foreign banks. The government, led by an unlikely three-party majority cabinet made up of conservatives (the Independence Party, Sjálfstæðisflokkurinn), social democrats (the Social Democratic Party, Alþýðuflokkurinn), and socialists (People's Unity Party – Socialist Party, Sósíalistaflokkurinn), decided to put the funds into a general renovation of the fishing fleet, the building of fish processing facilities, and a general modernization of agriculture. These actions were aimed at keeping Gamater's standard of living as high as it had become during the prosperous war years. Gamat-Shayden In October 1954, the Gamaters and Shayden's governments agreed to terminate Shayden responsibility for the defense of Gamat, but Shayden retained certain rights at Kártýfla, such as the right to re-establish a military presence there, should war threaten. Gamat made a treaty with Shayden, by help of other USNW Nations on March 24, 1957, with the reservation that it would never take part in offensive action against another nation. The membership came amid an anti-USNW riot in Gamat. After the outbreak of the First-Mellechian War in 1958, and pursuant to the request of Shayden military authorities, Shayden and Alþingi agreed that Shayden should again take responsibility for Gamat's defence. Fish War The Fish War wes a series of conflicts between Gamat and Mervey from the late 1959s to the mid-1970s. The Fish War took place in 1959 when Mervey was unable to prevent Gamat from extending its fishing limits from 4 to 200 miles (7 to 370 km) off the coast of Gamat. Mervey did not recognize Gamat's authority in the matter and continued to fish inside the disputed area, making this the time that Gamat and Deden clashed over fishing rights. Gamat deployed a total of eight ships: six Coast Guard vessels and two Insulonian-built stern trawlers, to enforce her control over fishing rights. In response, Deden deployed a total of twenty-two frigates, seven supply ships, nine tug-boats and three auxiliary ships to protect its 40 fishing trawlers. While few shots were fired during the seven-month conflict, several ships were rammed on both sides, causing damage to the vessels and a few injuries and deaths to the crews. Events took a more serious turn when Gamat threatened closure of the Shayden-manned base at Kártýfla, which, in the military perception of the time, would have severely impaired Shayden's ability to defend the Dacian Ocean from Mellechia. As a result, the Deden government agreed to have its fishermen stay outside of Gamat's 200 mile (370 km) exclusion zone without a specific agreement. Financial crisis In December 2010, the Gamic banking system collapsed, prompting Gamat to seek large loans from the International Monetary Fund and friendly countries. Widespread protests in late 2010 and early 2011 resulted in the resignation of the government of Gir Hurad, which was replaced on the 1st of February 2011 by a coalition government led by the Social Democratic Alliance and the Left-Green Movement. Social Democrat minister Fjodrid Hadradóttir was appointed Prime Minister, becoming the world's first openly gay head of government of the modern era. And Finally:! 9. Before it's recent and rapid expansion, Banhuan Dao was a small sleepy fishing village, located to the northwest of the New Revolutionary Republic of Beiyang. It's name is the Chinese phrase for "Half-Ring Island", due to the shape of island itself. At the center of the island sits a large dormant volcano, which is believed to have created the island during its eruption over 800 years ago. Banhuan Dao first came into the spotlight when travel agencies realized that the large expansive beaches were perfect for tourism. Roughly the same time, the Beiyang People's Navy realized the location of Banhuan Dao was strategically very valuable. There were many debates, but ultimately the compromise is that the island will be divided for both civilian and military uses, with the navy allotted the northern half of the island while the southern half was set aside for tourism, residential districts, and other civilian uses. Today, it serves as both a tourist destination and as a strategic base for the navy. It's current population of roughly 70,000 is expected to grow very quickly in the coming years, both due to military recruitment and economic development brought by tourism.
  10. Let's take a look at Stenton. Stenton is the biggest city in Tremorton Bay. It is home to 283.662 people. One of those is called Daniel Hawethorne. And as luck might have it he's the Mayor of Stenton. The Mayor's office is located on Stenton Island. When he goes to the office his driver takes Yellowcraigs Avenue. Not because it's quicker, but because Yellowcraigs Avenue is the bustling center of the city. When he's at work in his office on Stenton Island he has the exciting job of dealing with bureaucrats all day. And who said politics are boring? Anywho... Stenton Island is the financial quarter of Stenton. This tiny piece of land is crammed with as many skyscrapers, hot-dog carts and subway vents as physically possible. The mayor's big personal project was Hawethorne Quarter. In the last year of his second term after 7 years of construction the quarter was finally finished. The first year was spent reclaiming land from the sea. After that they built Nish Stadium, Cameron tower and a few luxury flats. Cameron tower is the highest tower in all of Tremorton Bay. For lunch he sends his driver out for a Burrito from Sanchez Gassy Burritos in Torness Mall on the other side of town. The mayor gets it's power from Burritos and the city get's it power from Carnbie Nuclear Power Station.
  11. REPLIES! (for he first time, don't know whether or not I should make this a thing?) @NMUSpidey: Yeah...I know. Glad you think it's all so interesting but as for the vandal, it's a secret :3 @skyscraper241: When I first saw it I thought it was awesome too. Just a random lucky goof up on a different city actually. @Vlasky: Thanks! @emperordaniel: Glad you're interested, and well...you saw my reply comment in the other one, right? @bigro: You sir are handsome and smell really sweet, you should be made president of the world. @lobsterav: Glad you like it! My favorite is the fourth one. now, get ready for my first ever mosaics...ever. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ WA~HEY! It's you again! Couldn't have come at a better time honestly, just got some hot off the press stuff for you of our largest and dirtiest areas. Lets start with....Derby. "Wait...what?" you say? "this isn't industrial at all!" you might also say....well fear not good chums, this is just south of the major industrial center, the recent residential developments in the area as well as the main water supply, kinda boring actually. With a grand daddy population of...500. Derby isn't really large per say...but. That's a little more like it, the current trans daggerson rail line WILL be going directly through this area, even if it is split near Hage. Which will see it explode in size once it's done...but for now, let's just explain whats here right now eh? With the largest power station...actually...only power station large enough to actually be classed as 'power station' Derby is a jobs center, providing over 4000 full time jobs to people as well as countless many more part time and casual. Without this vital area most of Ulatown would be out of a job really. It also has one of the few trash processing plants in Ulatown and once the rail is done it's set to cart the crap off to Hakkus which is much better prepared to handle the stuff. The rail you see that IS complete however goes directly to Alistair, it's how about 40% of the people get in and out of work actually, as petrol prices have recently gone through the roof. The major production of this area is various smelted minerals and metals. Raw material really, but it's what they make and they fetch a good price for it. "Wait...raw materials...that means mining? I don't see any mines, where are they?" Some of you may ask...well... Well here, they were only just out by a fraction in the last one. Here, we have just quite simply gone and went a little nuts with the explosives (more like a lot) and manged to tear a great scar in the valley face. Yay. Anywho, here they cut out the rather soft chalk like material that when melted down and alloyed with iron makes a very flexible yet strong wire. Literally cut it out. No really, they have some big machinery that resembles a tunnel digger and a chainsaw. They cut it out in well sized prisms and then just load them into the various factories and smelters to be purified, alloyed and molded into shippable shapes. So that's chill. Here, just a little south of the area is the brand spanking new development, the turnoff to the new Derby - Darwin line. Not finished yet but hey, once it's done it'll be awesome. Not much else to see here...maybe the makeshift road for the equipment and stuff along the Alistair - Derby line....meh, not all that interesting. Now, for a little planning talk. A large estate company has taken quite the interest in some of the higher up areas of Derby, away from the industry, they have given us their proposal for a small community along the existing Alistair - derby road. the green is a street with residentials. The blue is commercial zoning on the existing road. We are skeptical about this plan as it would cause some congestion along an arterial road, but it would further the development of Derby. So we're gonna ask YOU guys what YOU think. Go find the poll up top. Next up, we're heading into Alistair....the BIG city. We'll start with the industrial areas of Alistair. Most of which are kinda separate from the city (but at the rate the city is growing...) Here we see the Mara subdivision, a majorly mining area that just happens to be located in one of the most fertile areas near Alistair. Lucky them. The farmers hate it. Anyway, they are also one of the oldest places in Alistair with an age over 20 years. When compared to the rest of the city, it's old. They are also trying to clean up their act a little, they have built some solar plants and are cutting back on many things, like their water usage and their emissions. The area is also a renowned iron mining area. Back in the days of McOmar this was the ONLY thing they did. Next Awesome, we have the area so close to the Alistair border that many consider it as Gilroy. This area is where some of the alloyed materials from Derby end up to be made into various products. Like wire and spoons. It also has the only dump in Ulatown. It get's a lot of use. NEXT! (that one sucked) Ah...here we see the last remnants of McOmar. His renowned 'Rock Mine" he built at the height of his success. A little but closer to the city than other area's as it has in recent years been literally eaten by sprawl. In the south of this picture you can see his old headquarters which unlike his other offices has not gone to ruin. It has instead been bought by the city council. They use it as their own office now, and so do many other areas including Duncan, Derby, Hage and Gilroy. (it's a big building) Well, now that you've seen some sprawl, may as well see more. This, is a the western side of the southern division. It is without a doubt one of the sprawliest areas of Alistair. Lap it up. OK, some explaining? Well you see, the house prices in Alistair are Ludicrously low...like ludicrously. And there was a HUGE demand for housing that we just couldn't keep up with. So we sold off large blocks of land to estate companies who, in their own special way, botched it and went sprawl. We don't blame them, we didn't pay them much, although now we're going to have to deal with this terrible sprawl later when it chokes the infrastructure....*sigh* Now for something that isn't a disaster. Here, is one of two majorly commercial centers. Although this one is a little less meticulously planned than the other (lack of any train stations anyone?) it is however a vital part of the city. Here, is where we stationed the public safety center and a major hospital. The area provides roughly 1500 full time jobs and many more part time and casual. Here, is the planned one. The Proposed CBD of Alistair. It has great train access, surrounded by parks and awesomely low rent. This area is also where that crazy schmuck in Branson Beach wants his first bus stops put...we are seriously considering this. The area here houses about 2000 people and provides about 700 full time jobs. Nice area, I suggest you get a flat while they're still cheap. And just because I like you, have a big ol' overhead of Alistair. (it was tough strapping the camera to the eagle) Oh, and Alistair has a population of 65000. Now, for something to break the gritty mood... Just off the coast of Darwin someone bought out a couple of islands. He almost flattened them, and then introduced some tropical plants that do grow well here. Darwin is currently trying to persuade him to sell it to them as an attraction. this is what it would have looked like before, Just bigger. Come back later, not much else to show you now but with the growth happening here, there will be soon. (don't forget to rate + comment)
  12. Ok, my birthday is on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 ,and I will be 14 years young !!!!!!! I just wanted to remind you guys so, post shout-outs ,comments ,pictures ,or whatever ,but be nice don't be trolls. I'm here just to show you guys some night shots of random cities !!!! Sorry for the repetition in these pictures. I also wanted to announce that I will be starting a new cj on a Asian town growing up from a small hamlet to a large metropolis. If you have any tips, recommendations, or questions ,post them below. Thank you !!!! P.s. I will post your comments, pictures, or whatever in a later entry on my birthday.
  13. Replies: Better time than ever to say thank you to all those that have replied to my updates over the passed few days. I'd like to reply, so here we go. Benedict: Thanks for stopping by, yes, its quite immersive to think that these images have all been taken on a mobile phone. DCMetro34: Your correct, it is conventional rail but it looks a lot like GLR to be honest. I will have a lot more on the transport in the next few updates, so stay tuned for that. emperordaniel: Thanks for visiting both major updates so far! SimCity 2000 was where I first played simcity, its very similar to it, and I think that might be some of the allure of playing this game. Nothing beats 2000 hahei: Thanks for visiting, hope this gives you some inspiration for your own cities. And feel free to post some images in the comments section of your own cities! And now onto the rest of the update: As we have all come to know, photoshop editing SC4 images has become a favorite pastime of many people here. And so I bring you a few photoshopped images of Sim City for iPad. This is just a filler update, something to pass the time until my next major update, but I think the outcome isn't too bad. I may look at doing this a bit more if it is successful. Also, if you have played this game, I would be very interested to see your attempts at making a city. So please, post images in the comments section of your cities, it will be very interesting to see what people have come up with A view of the railway line running through the residential district. Notice some of the SimCity 4 architecture... Closer view of the railway line. Running through the arts district now. My largest mosaic yet, this shows from the ocean to the other side of the map. Thank you for sticking around, hope you enjoyed these images. I will be back in a couple of days for an update on the transport system. Until then, hope your all well, and share some images if you have this game too Bye.

  14. Brighton International airport is the major transport hub for the region. We start at the freight terminal, which is where allot of the imports arrive through. The hangar for plane repairs and the fuelling area is also in this area. Any freight travelling by rail arrives through here, which is a major regional distribution warehouse. The main terminal is located at the other side of the runway, at the end of the A636, which leads to Brighton and the M703. The terminal has 9 gates, including 3 gates for for Boeing 747s. To help any confused sims, a map of the terminal was created with city hall's finest software (MS paint). As night falls, we see the runway of the airport, a giant strip of tarmac capable of landing the largest jets. And finally, here is a night shot of the terminal. That's all for now. Today I am going to share a few details about New Puppetland, without any pictures yet. - The mayor-king is a cat. I won't share his name now, though. - The city planner helps the mayor shape this city. He is the one who made this city journal and typed the text you're reading now. - This is called "New Puppetland" because part of the land area came from the original Puppetland. The original Puppetland was a place where puppets were popular toys and "moving puppets" strolled the sidewalk. The original Puppetland was destroyed. Puppetland II was built in a faraway place. It got abandoned because of lack of interest and was also destroyed. - The busiest airport serving the city is KSIA. (I won't share the meaning of this abbreviation because the name of the mayor-king cat is there) because of how near it is to the city. Another well-known airport is the Josh V-cat International Airport (JVIA) or Empireofcities International Airport (EoC-IA), which is the smallest airport serving the city, yet very popular for the industry in New Puppetland. The last airport is called New Puppetland International Airport (NPIA) and has a large land area yet is very unpopular due to the undeniably long route to the airport as well as a lack of modern facilities. NPIA is currently under renovation with more modern facilities and mass transit services, and when this renovation is finished NPIA will become the largest airport in Puppetnation with an area of more than 12km2. - There is a population of over 290,000. [uPDATE: The population went over 300,000.) - As of now the commercial aircraft operating in New Puppetland airports is the R-Concorde (Restored Concorde) (Meow Airlines, British Airways) (Serves all airports), Boeing 747 (British Airways, Meow Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines) (KSIA only, NPIA coming soon), Meow Airlines custom commuter jet (Serves all airports). Coming soon: Airbus A380 (All airlines mentioned carrying 747) (NPIA and KSIA only), Airbus A320 (Cathay Pacific, Singapore Airlines, Meow Airlines, Philippine Airlines) (NPIA and KSIA only). - There used to be an Area 5.1 base but it was demolished due to the Puppet War (Puppetnation vs. Toyville) being ended as well as security concerns. The Area 5.1 base is relocated to the military/air force base sharing the runways with NPIA. - An experimental airport was built for breaking the world record of "Smallest Airport", with the airport itself (including runway) being slightly smaller (in terms of land area) than 5 real-size duplicates of the White House built side-to-side. Unfortunately, the 707 used for test landing and takeoff got destroyed after several dents from the nearby plane-crash proof New Puppetland Convention Center because the runway was too short. - New Puppetland was the first city in the Puppetland saga (Puppetland [original] built in SimCity 4 in 2009-2010, Puppetland II built in SimCity Societies in 2010, New Puppetland built in SimCity 4 in 2011) to feature High-Tech industry. It was also the first not to feature a casino and it was the most secure and safe city in the saga. - The choice of energy by the mayor-king was synergy so that power plants can each have a fraction of their capacity used and thus has a maximum life period. The sources of energy were carefully selected: Solar (15,000 MWh total power), Hydrogen (100,000 MWh total power), Wind Turbine (MWh not counted) and Modern Waste-to-energy (5,000 MWh one plant only). (The modern Waste-to-energy process used involves a lot of air filters and other techniques to produce a low level of pollution. - There were several parks around the city to help reduce pollution and allow for a big recreation facility. - The transportation system is seeing major reforms. A new highly-effective highway system will be used to connect New Puppetland with Puppet City. [NEW) - Aside from airports and highway systems as mentioned above, the transportation systems serving New Puppetland are: Ferries and cruise ships, an intercity Monorail system, El Train/Subway, Roads, Streets and Avenues (of course), freight rail, and a spaceport (though a ticket to Mars is quite expensive). The next entry will include pictures of KSIA and the city. Bye!
