Imperial Theatre, 37 Avenue de Londres
"I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being."
/Oscar Wilde/

Belleville is a truly cosmopolitan city, and this time I wanted to show you the British community theatre in Belleville ![]()

The Imperial Theatre was built in 1912 and it opened to the public on September 19, 1913. It was a subject of a special treaty between Pays-Beau and the British Empire. What I like the best about it is that the funding still comes from Her Majesty's purse even though the UK is no longer an empire... So no expenses on my part ![]()

They've recently renovated it, so it's a pretty nice place to spend an evening.

Yes, yes, you can find there only British plays... What to do... Well, I don't mind as long as the Queen pays for it ![]()

Have a nice day, my friends! ![]()
