Velenipils'

Through the woods on the hills,

I see a small fisherman's town:Velenipils'.

I hope, that no one will change this wonderful landscape...

(A traveller's diary,1910)

Now,at the opposite of Kavežys',after Slavs'k'hod, there's Velenipils',at the frontier with Poland. Velenipils',in the last years, knew a large process of urbanization...

velenipils9apr121322153.jpg

There are old and new apartment blocks, small and big ones. There are all the types...

velenipils9apr121322153.jpg

The 80% of Velenipils' is occupied by these concrete blocks...

velenipils9apr121322153.jpg

The old "fisherman's town" of Velenipils',the poor zone,is divided from the new town by the railway...

velenipils9apr121322153.jpg

The inhabitants of the poor zone can enter in the new town only if they pass through the checkpoint...

velenipils9apr121322153.jpg

Richest people live in the main and largest building in the zone, the Velenbvojka...

velenipils9apr121322153.jpg

Oh,just a moment,Velenipils' is the only port of Polsdovia...

velenipils9apr121322153.jpg

And is the main petrol extraction site in the nation...

velenipils9apr121322154.jpg

So,today you saw big concrete blocks, rich ports and big extraction points for petrols...but you saw poor people who lives segregated in an old, nice and tiny fisherman's town, that now is a prison for innocent people...

Lol .. prison for innocent people. Another great update, love the variety of the apartments you've used and how dirty and grimy they look.

If you press the G key in game it turns off the grid, looks a lot better when you take pictures. Pressing G again will turn the grid back on.

I look forward to seeing more and perhaps a regional picture?
