The Sun Co Ltd (Chinese: 大新公司) ( Today: NanFang Building ( Chinese: 南方大厦 ) ) is a historic high-rise building in Guangzhou, China. At the time of its completion in 1922, it was the tallest building in the country. Since then, it has served as offices, department stores, electronics markets, and hotels. To be honest, when I export it into the game and compare it to Oi Kwan Hotel. It feels it is taller than OiKwan, but I double-check its scale that I find nothing incorrect about it. It is just because of the game view prespective. So now OiKwan has its big brother now! This building is the main part of the complex. The Wet side of the The Sun Co Ltd is another independent building. ----------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------- STATS LM (with CS$$$) Overhang : Lot size : 4x4 Capacity Satisfied: CS$ 1550 CS$$ 1225 CS$$$1550 Occupant Group: Landmark with CS$$$ Job STATS LM Overhang : Lot size : 4x4 Plop Cost : 19000 Budget Cost: 600 ----------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Remind: Download "MaxisNite" or "DarkNite" Do Not Delete "TheSunCoLtd(BlankBox)"&"TheSunCoLtd(Plop)"! ----------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Dependence: None Optional: (For DarkNite) SimFox Day and Nite Modd ( https://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/23089-simfox-day-and-nite-modd/ ) ----------------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------------------------------- There is "no" Easter egg in this building. BREAK THE GRID!!! A few different offerings of the same gas station concept. The download includes: one 2x2 growable C$ property one 1x1 ploppable LM lot (45 degree) two 1x2 plop landmark lots (right and left rotations) They each have nightlighting and no dependencies are needed. -
Hi there, I've had this problem for a while so I cannot really pinpoint the source. I have an issue where my industrial lots overhang a bit onto my road networks: If I demolish the buildings the issue is fixed, and anything new that grows in the zones doesn't cause the error. Just wondering if anyone encountered this before and what a possible quick fix is. Thanks in advance!

A small convenience store with parking, for use along FA3 networks. The building itself is based on a 7-Eleven store, but I wanted to brand this one as a Couche Tard to add a little variety. They're very common around Montreal. I have lots of drunken memories there 2x1 landmark lots with no stats, no night lights -

YO, guys -- I know I'm about to stick my hand in the frying pan -- but I REALLY need some DETAILED guidance. PROBLEM: I have some excellent "water-ploppable" ship models and I'm working on a massive project to create a huge naval dockyard. After extensive and tedious testing of various custom and downloaded docks and piers I have run into two problems. FIRST; docks either conform to the terrain height, or they drop the terrain to sea level. This, obviously, creates a situation where you will have to transition from higher areas down to dock level. SECOND; Depending upon which type of dock you are testing, the "LOD footprint" of the ship will only allow you to "plop" the lot at a certain distance from the dock. Obviously -- too far away looks ridiculous -- and too close usually encroaches on the edge of the dock. The obvious solution to "docking" a ship with no "visual bloopers" was PEG's method of creating the ship as an overhanging prop. With the overhanging prop, you simply open the lot in EDITOR and position your "prop ship" as desired. (There are, of course, restrictions on HOW MUCH of the prop can be extended beyond the limits of the lot.) WHAT I HAVE: I have worked with EDITOR, READER, and PLUGINS MANAGER extensively and have a reasonably good grasp on them. I have started working with TWEAKER and have successfully managed to shrink the occasional prop for use on a lot. (About three day's worth of experience, there.) WHAT I NEED TO KNOW -- How do I take a perfectly good, "water-ploppable" model, and use it to create an overhanging prop for use against a dock? (I assume there is also a process involved in actually getting it installed in PLUGINS so I can use it.) Tutorials are a fine thing -- but they almost always leave out a small detail that frustrates people to the point of going off the idea entirely. And they usually assume you know more than you do -- simply because you asked the question in the first place. Anyone kind and gracious enough to offer advice / guidance will be most welcome -- but keep one thing in mind -- you almost need to start with..."Step One: Turn on computer". (I'm not quite that dense, but let's assume I am.) THANK YOU for your time and patience --- HELP !!

Has anyone gone in depth in creating overhanging buildings? I have a real need for some Above is an example of how they would be useful to cover up Ped-mall textured tunnels And also, is there a way to convert previous lots into something that overhangs? Thanks

The long awaited parkings with overhang are finally arrived! Thanks to the RKT0 model technology, creating those handy structures is now within reach of unskilled batters like me Those parkings will tremendously help you dealing with those nasty diagonals in your quest of grid busting. UPDATE 1.01 The lots were initially supposed to generate a 5 $ monthly income, not a expense. This has been adressed. Also new textures have been added for further customisation. What's in the package? - 4 lots with 2 distinct shapes and their mirrored counterparts - 6 different textures design, to blend seamlessly with your favourite sidewalk mod (choose one, delete the other) - 4 offset car models in HD, an original creation from Girafe. Lots Stats TRIANGLE Plop/doze: 0/0 Electricity/Water: 0/0 Pollution air/water/garbage: 0/0/1 Jobs provided: 2 $ Capacity: 2000 Monthly income: 5 $ COMBO Plop/doze: 0/0 Electricity/Water: 0/0 Pollution air/water/garbage: 0/0/1 Jobs provided: 2 $ Capacity: 1500 Monthly income: 5 $ WARNING those lots have zero tolerance to slopes. Use on perfectly flat ground only. Dependencies BSC - VIP girafe carpack vol. 1 & 2 (v1.0) Crazy credits - thanks to infamousjbe for the original idea - thanks to Girafe for kindly allowing me to use his beautiful models in this pack - special thanks goes to cogeo for sharing his RKT0 technology knowledge and invaluable help in debugging.
