From the tiny village of Ladysmith in Thorne, County Pontiac in Quebec, I bring you a curious little house on Quebec Route 303 at its hayday in 2009. Sadly, it now sits overgrown, long since abandoned and heading for becoming derelict. (By the way, the Hotel Ladysmith does a fine range of imported European specialist beers if you ever pass through it.) -

From the streets of the Plateau in Hull, Quebec, I bring you:- - Matelas Dauphin - Founded in 1970, Dolphin Mattress is one of the top mattress retailers in Quebec. The store shown (on the left) is a faithful reproduction of their store at the Plateau shopping centre. I admit that they do not, in reality, have a hedge cut like a dolphin in their garden at the back of the mal, but it was such a unique opportunity to use this prop that I added it. - Videotron - Quebec's telecommunications giant. Estabished in 1970, it is now part of Quebecor, owned by the Idiosyncratic and mercurial billionaire, Pierre Peladeau. One of the world's largest cable TV companies, it is also dominates the mobile telephone network, has a vast chain of retail premises, owns numerous TV stations and, until recently, was one of the last few major rental chains that continued to battle on, only closing it doors finally, about ten years after Blockbusters had long since thrown in the hat.-

Another week, another map! This time it's Quebec City, Quebec (for SimCity 4) by request from @maxdv85. The map is 20 x 20 large city tiles and is accurately scaled based on DEM data. It has been rotated -40 degrees for easier street grid layout. In order to install the map you will need wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer as the file is in SC4M format. I hope you can put this map to good use, enjoy! -TCC View My Full Map Catalogue Here:- 1 Review

A small convenience store with parking, for use along FA3 networks. The building itself is based on a 7-Eleven store, but I wanted to brand this one as a Couche Tard to add a little variety. They're very common around Montreal. I have lots of drunken memories there 2x1 landmark lots with no stats, no night lights -
Here's the historical district which I'm currently working on:

After a few false starts, I've finally gotten this map of Quebec City and its environs together enough to post. This map is relatively close to 1:1 vertically and is exactly 1:1 in height and width. I used a 1776 map of the city to draw the waterways in as they originally existed before being developed, including adding a shelf just under the water level to approximate marsh and shallows. The waterways and lakes are a compromise between reality and what SC4 can reproduce. You can keep them as they are, or use the smooth tool in God Mode or Terraformer to turn them into waterways to use ploppable water in instead if you wish. This download is a .zip file that includes a SC4M file, a few randomly generated config.bmp files, a 16-bit PNG heightmap to import into SC4Mapper if you'd rather use one of the config.bmp files, and four maps: a topo map, a clipped OpenStreetMap aligned with the region to show how the city grid maps onto the existing city, and two historical maps: one from 1776 and one from 1894. These are interesting because they show how the waterfront has been built up over time. Enjoy!- 2 Comments

The first city i will begin is Rimouski. Rimouski has an actual population of 50 912 inhabitants. In the New Quebec, it will have a population of over a million of inhabitants and some huge skyscrapers in the downtown.

Be sure you know where your syrup came from. The supply is good, so this should not affect prices, high as they are for the real stuff. Ontario also produces a good supply and some have said Ontario No. 1 is better.

G'Day Simtropians, Today I am presenting a map requested by Diamonddog_74, thanks mate. It is of Montreal,Canada. This version is un-rotated. See me up CLOSE and personal. This is a real world map and was produced with dem and satellite data. It is terrain and scale accurate and measures 65.536km x 57.344km. It's in .SC4M format and 16bits and requires one has either Wouanagaine;s mapper or terraformer installed to inport it. Links and instructions are included in the readme. (always free) I think that's all. Cheers- 6 Comments
