Here's a fun set for everyone ---- it's the old familiar Maxis R$$ 2 story houses from the Chicago 1890 tileset. I have lotted them so that you can place them adjacent to FA3 roadways. These are great for filling in areas with houses that already may exist nearby. They are neutral landmarks that cost noting to operate. The original nightlighting still works the same. There are 6 lots for visual variety, all 3x1 --- 3 are left-facing, 3 are right-facing Only dependency is Maxis bldgs as props for the houses. I've always been quite fond of these. Have fun! -

Description: This mod alters the FA-2 and FA-3 roads (only straight routes) that come with NAM to remove the trees (and the lanterns, if you want) there. The idea to do this came to me after reading this thread: https://community.simtropolis.com/forums/topic/763344-fractional-angle-w2w/ Please make sure to read the installation instructions below, the plugin needs to be customized to avoid unwanted effects. Please note: In unzoned and agricultural areas, no objects show up, anyway. This mod doesn't change this. To make the change reflected in-game close to already grown zones, you may need to plop with the Road tool into a FA-2 or FA-3 route. If you are growifying a plopped building with the Growify DLL, the zone changes to low, medium, or high density. This will affect adjacent routes, but only if you drag them again or plop into them with the Road tool. Dependencies: Network Addon Mod: http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/26793-network-addon-mod-for-windows-installer/ Installation: There are 3 files coming with this plugin, only install one of them. Please check the screenshots to observe the visual result. To install, put one out of these 3 files into your Plugins folder, however, you need to make sure that it loads after NAM or it won't work. To make this sure, create a folder with a name that comes later than the NAM folder in alphabet (or just put the entire folder zFA Roads T21 Mod into your Plugins folder). What the files do: FA Roads T21 Mod_Remove All.dat: removes all objects whatsoever from straight FA-2 and FA-3 routes. FA Roads T21 Mod_Remove Trees all D.dat: removes all trees whatsoever from straight FA-2 and FA-3 routes (the lanters remain). FA Roads T21 Mod_Remove Trees Lanterns HD.dat: removes all objects from straight FA-2 and FA-3 routes, but only on high-density zoning (residential, commercial, and industrial). Low-density zoning (only residential and commercial), as well as the plopped zone, are not affected. Compatibility: This mod is only compatible with SC4: Deluxe or SC4 with Rush Hour installed. Furthermore, this mod is incompatible with any other mod altering the placement of props via editing the T21 exemplar files with the same IID the NAM uses.-

A small convenience store with parking, for use along FA3 networks. The building itself is based on a 7-Eleven store, but I wanted to brand this one as a Couche Tard to add a little variety. They're very common around Montreal. I have lots of drunken memories there 2x1 landmark lots with no stats, no night lights -

Break the grid! Think outside the box! This is a strip mall angled for FA3 networks, containing a drive-thru Starbucks and a few other businesses. Two separate rotations are included, as well. This one really exists, but I took lots of liberties with the lotting. Thanks to LivingInThePast for the suggestion to explore the 290 corridor----hope you are staying warm out there in the storm. No nightlighting (message me with tips!) 2x4 landmark with overhanging prop. NAM required for best results- 3 Reviews

Two strip malls, oriented for use with FA2 networks They are 4x2 overhanging landmarks One is a Kosher supermarket, the other is a Korean grocery. They both have adjacent businesses. No dependencies, just drop them in your plugins DM me with FA/diagonal requests! Looking for inspiration- 4 Reviews

Break the grid! Think outside the box! 2 styles of BP gas stations to be placed adjacent to FA3 networks. The light one is based on the gas station on 150th/St Nick in Manhattan. No stats, eyecandy only. 1x1 landmark lots w/ overhanging prop building This is my first upload, I'd love feedback!- 7 Reviews

This is a set of unwired power poles based on the Wood H-Frame 138 kV single-circuit design, which is found pretty much everywhere in the U.S. It is a staple of rural landscapes far and wide, and is used for a number of different voltages, though it is nominally 138 kV for this set. In SC4, this is a set of 84 eye-candy pylons. Don't worry; there are MMLs. It includes “tangent” poles in the following rotations: orthogonal (straight along the grid), diagonal (diagonally along the grid), fractional angle 3 (FA3, or a rise of three tiles over a run of one), and fractional angle 2 (FA2, or a rise of two tiles over a run of one). It also includes “s-curve” poles, which enable the lines to temporarily slide over by a small amount (typically one or two tiles) without changing overall direction. Furthermore, the set includes “angle” poles, which enable the lines to change from one of the aforementioned rotations (orthogonal, diagonal, FA3, or FA2) to another. There are "dead-end" poles, which are useful for the starts/ends of lines. There are also supplemental pole props which are placed on the lots to enhance the poles’ visibility at more distant zooms. Dependencies: MTO P3 Models Vol. 1. is necessary because all of the models for this power line set are included in that pack. Additionally, I would recommend at least the latest NAM if you’re going to use the fractional angle poles, as it is the NAM which contains fractional angle roads. -

This is a set of unwired power poles based on the Texas Steel V-Tower 345 kV double-circuit design, which is found in the U.S. state of Texas as the name implies (and as far as I know, nowhere else!). It is one of the state’s most common pylon styles. In SC4, this is a set of 120 eye-candy pylons. This is a set of power pole models that will be used in Texas Steel-V Tower and Wood H-Frame power line set releases. A variety of rotations are included, and there are also numerous different types of models included for dead-ends and angles. Some of them are flat on the ground for construction. There are also banners with triangular plastic flags that are sometimes used to mark rights of way prior to construction but they can be used just to get attention, too. In addition, there are supplemental poles that can be used alone or to enhance the appearance of the Wood H-Frame poles, since these types of models don’t always show up well at more distant zooms. This is itself a dependency pack and needs no dependencies.
