This shopping center is inspired by real-life shopping plazas that became fairly common across parts of the United States during the 1970s and 1980s. Before the days of Walmart being so big, Kmart and Kroger basically teamed up to create a convenient one-stop shopping plaza where one would be able to find everything they needed. This 3 lot shopping center has been named after Simtropolis member kingofsimcity and for the much appreciated SHK textures, especially ones made specifically for me. King Street Shopping Center (Left) 6x14 lot with 139 jobs Kroger, Kroger gas pumps, Sprint, UPS Store & Papa John’s King Street Shopping Center (Right) 12x12 lot with 357 jobs Kmart, Huntington Bank, Citi Trends, Aaron’s, Label Shopper, Sherwin Williams, Cosmo Prof, Mariner Fiance and Enterprise Rent A Car. King Street Shopping Center (Corner) 2x2 lot with NO jobs (due to game wanting roads to be by the lot) Cosmetic piece for a pleasing connection between the two lots. No official buildings on this lot. The Kroger company is the largest supermarket chain in the United States. As such, it operates under many different banners in parts of the country. What I’ve done here is made a Kroger Marketplace as the base model and simply swapped logos to represent Kroger’s 5 banners (Kroger, King Soopers, Dillon’s, Smith’s & Fry’s) that use the marketplace format. The marketplace format for all five banners is the typical supermarket combined with other departments such as toys, apparel, home goods and more. You can choose which of the five you would like to keep by simply deleting the other folders. You could technically keep all five, but I don’t recommend it since the buildings are intentionally designed to be same. All five lots are 12x12 in size and all come with 926 jobs. All five lots share the same dependencies.
