This is the same as the original arkatanya except I removed the extraneous connections that were from a multiplayer region I hosted. I renamed the region Silverbend Praire, as it reflects my vision of this being a farming region. You can rename it whatever you want by modifying the region.ini file. I'll a version of this with the regional transit (highways and rail) soon, that will be under arkatanya#4. Reposted: I was tired of seeing maps that were not fun to play on because they had very little buildable area and also were an unrealistic place for people to settle. Most maps being too big (100s or 1000s of tile) or too small (3-4 large tiles), this map is 8x8 with 60 large tiles and about 16 medium ones - although it will look fairly populated once it has 16-25 cities; the tiles are staggered allowing for commercial (office) centers for those that want to do a large international airport challenge. This map is a river valley map, of a hypothetical fictitious USA county in a northern state. Some people will prefer to densify the hills and others will add touches or leave the way it is. Download the zip and extract to your regions folder. -

Welcome to Crystal Bay. There are a variety of sized cities in addition to a variety of terrain to build on. This has almost a little bit of everything. I've included two types of zip files. One is an SC4M file to be imported with SC4 Mapper. I've also included a zip file of the region folder so you can render it through the game. Please let me know how you like it (or don't like it) so I can improve on my map making skills. -

– Archemediesx’s Sim the Nation Series – – Wyoming Region 07/10 – – Green River/Flaming Gorge, Wyoming – The Green River map contains an elevation profile from 1838m at the bottom of the Green river valley to 2786m atop the high front range buttes. The map encompasses 40.96 km x 65.536km across the Green River Valley. This Region map maintains a faithful 1:1 ratio for a scale accurate representation of the region with < 1.0% margin of error accounting for map projection. Two maps are provided, a 1:1 elevation ratio map, and a second offset preserving the 948m elevation profile, but set to a minimum elevation of 280 to allow for easy carving of maxis water into the river valley. Included in the zip is a preview image, a regional description pdf, SC4M and Configuration bmp files. They requires Wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer to import it into SC4. The preview was rendered using the TRK Wasco Terrain Mod All Sim the Nation series maps are produced using 1/3 Arc Second DEM and 16bit images to produce X,Y,Z Scale Accurate Geographic based maps. -

This is my first SimCity 4 map I've ever uploaded. The Zephyr River Basin is an original idea of mine while i was bored at school. It has many river converging between two mountain ranges, providing a very water-based city to develop. It is 7x7 medium tiles. Sudden Valley Terrain mod and MayorBean's OceanRiverMOD were used in the screenshot. -
