PHIL - Bocage 104..(I lost count more than 104 less than 115 .. maybe) Neutral Lots with fences and dirt edge texture overlays with girafe seasonal flora. Multiple sets of lots for placement along the edge of your farm fields to create Bocage type areas between fields. The lots include fence props from the BSC ALN RRP fences and overlay textures from the BSC Textures to create a dirt edge along the borders of your farm fields. The lots are divided into three groups; Side, Center, and 2x2. Each of these groups are subdivided into sets with some varied props/paths. All the groups/sets come in two versions, one version Without a Base Texture and one version With a Base Texture. Download the version your system can handle..can your system use dll mods? For the No Base version there is no base texture so whichever terrain you use will show through, this requires the Transparent Texture (Water Bug) Fix DLL by memo For the With Base version the base texture used is a grass texture base (basetexture 0xf8e06e30) created by hugues aroux's Scoty factory for his Scoty Field Paths & Hedges set. This texture was made with multiple support texture versions for different grass terrain mods. When downloading the Scoty hedgepath dependency you can select a texture that matches your terrain. Group - Side - Lots(45ish) in this group have a fence and dirt edge on one side. The group has three sets. Set - Side - this set has a variety of straights, corners, and diagonals with just 'nature' beyond the fence. Set - Side Trail - this set includes a dirt path trail beyond the fence Set - Side Fieldpath - this set includes fieldpath textures from the Scoty Field Paths & Hedges set beyond the fence Group - Center - Lots(37ish) in this group have a fence and dirt edge of both sides of the lot. The group has two sets. Set - Center - this set has a variety of straights, corners, and ends with just 'nature' between the fences. Set - Center Fieldpath - this set includes fieldpath textures from the Scoty Field Paths & Hedges set between the fences. Group - 2x2 - Lots(22) in this group are staged on a 2x2 lot, they have the dirt edge and fences and are like a larger Center. Set - 2x2 - this set has a variety of straight pieces, a large corner and an end version with 'nature' between the fences there are also Deer props. Set - Bikepath - this set includes lots with a dirt path trail and girafe bikes props between the fences Set - Boarpath - this set includes lots with a dirt path trail and Wild Boar props. Notes: - All lots can be used together and some are intended to be, one set/lot is not the dependency of another to work but the paths can/should be used for visual connections. - All lots make use of SPOT to highlight the fence/dirt side and for path connections. - We spoke to the treecutter and it seems Kevin#4 stopped chasing him and started chasing a bike into a bocage, having been raised by wild boar. If you see him let scoty know. - For the base texture, if you can use the dll by memo no base is the way to go but if you are unable to use the dll, the with base texture version was made for you. - The Side Trail and some 2x2 lots make use of some BSC Textures overlays that include variable layouts that can appear randomly when you plop the lot. The multiple straight lots for Trail are to provide variety to the nature but the trail will always vary. - Though the Side Trail set can be used to continue the trail from the 2x2 bikepaths, they do not work for all connection points of the 2x2 boarpaths. - The 2x2 Boarpath connection points for the trail have slight differences in location on the lot meaning not all lots will match up but each lot has at least a couple other lots that have a side that matches the pattern, test out different ones. - The 2x2 lots can be rotated to make some connections and needed for some other connections, a good amount of variety is possible for long bocage paths. PHIL - Farm Fences 58 Neutral Lots with Maxis Farm Field and Fences with girafe seasonal flora. A set of lots that can be used around the border of your farm fields. Similar concept to the cercafazendas lots created by Suico adding fences to a farm border. These lots have some diagonals and multiple versions for variety, fence props from the BSC ALN RRP fences. A smaller pasture set with the white SPAM fences is also included. In order to create the proper spacing some textures were needed, I asked Hugues if any of the Kevins have farm experience. He said three worked in an almond milking dairy and one other grew up wild living in a Bocage. That fourth Kevin was assigned the project, but he disappeared chasing a tree cutter down the street. So one of the first three was assigned, he did well. The other two made some nice icons after seeing how unclear mine were. A big thank you to hugues aroux for his help with the textures and icons. The utmost secrecy exercised by The Smileyfaces does not leave much room for any information leaks from the Emo-G Site. Whatever they work on (or with) is shrouded in total mystery. The already stringent security measures have become even more rigorous with the completion of a multi-tiered security perimeter around the Emo-G Site. The new barrier has completely sealed off this secret area from the rest of the town. But wouldn't you know it... As soon as the project was finished, several idiots adventurous souls have actually tried to defeat the security installations guarding the Emo-G Site and cross into the area! Of course, none of these attempts have been successful and all of the six (so far) trespassers are now serving 8 to 18 months in prison for their stunts... But, since every cloud has a silver lining, now they at least have enough time to piece their experiences together while locked up. As a result, the following diagram has been prepared and smuggled out of The Smileyfaces' cell blocks (a diagram, which is currently being relentlessly taken down from the "Internets" by the Emo-G's OpSec Teams): One thing is certain - it is not wise to mess with the Emo-G staff! It is, however, evidently clear that some citizens make their living by working for the Site. Especially, after The Smileyfaces have successfully laid ground for the creation of some modern hi-tech laboratories - necessary to advance their research and maintain technological superiority. While the employees working in these facilities are required to sign restrictive NDAs, their workplaces are located outside of the Emo-G Site and are not classified, though access cards are still required. There are currently two hi-tech labs that stand out in Laughterdale's cityscape: Not coincidentally, some of the dirty industry has been replaced by more elegant development. But technology and industry aside, you might also be interested to know that in order to keep the spirits up, some new farms have been established in Laughterdale as well. All these developments combined, bring lots of joy and pride to The Smileyfaces, positively influencing their society. The residential areas and social exchanges thrive like never before. Currently, The Smileyfaces plan to expand their city towards Northwest. In fact, a new commercial zone has been built in this area. If you look close enough, you will notice a few peculiarities about this part of the town... Have you noticed a long rail viaduct near the edge of the city limits? Or the umbrella park in the middle of the zone? How about the "rose promenades" near the top of the picture? While inconspicuous at first, for the moment, these objects cannot be found anywhere except for Laughterdale. These are actually some of The Smileyfaces' original designs. A proof that at least some of the concepts produced at Emo-G Site are released to the public and not stuck to the drawing board. Even more evidence of The Smileyfaces' skills and research can be found around their starter town. These, for instance, also include infrastructural projects like tunnels, railways and pedestrians bridges. While not necessarily a confidential knowledge, The Smileyfaces are the first tribe determined enough to implement and stick to these solutions. All of the stuff that happens in Laughterdale is probably a little too much to take in one day. We shall soon move on to the The Activator's city of Buildmoar, but before we do, just take a quick look at how the Laughterdale's Sports Complex has developed. It's time to revisit another successful (though chaotic) city, located about 12 km North of Laughterdale. While our attention has been directed elsewhere, Buildmoar has embarked upon several important projects. The most notable change, is the construction of a high-capacity, six-lane road, running through the center of the city. Connectivity in Buildmoar is no longer an issue with this new thoroughfare. The tram lines remain a popular form of communication too. Buildmoar has recently been experiencing unemployment among the working class, so some of the R$ neighborhoods have undergone gentrification and redeveloped into middle and upper class areas. And what would life be with empty spaces in between? Outrageous to even think that way! This is why previously empty areas near the city limits, have now been converted into small, handsome commercial zones... ...one of which is accessible only by the tram and creatively distanced away from the exhaust fumes with the use of pedestrian promenades. While many changes are noticeable, most of them have, for obvious reasons, taken place in the area around the main road. This might become significant in the near future, because most of The Activators believe it is high time to colonize another city tile and expand their influence in Udanani, since the necessary infrastructure is already in place. On the other edge of Udanani, where the sun sets somewhere beyond the endless horizon, Cape Careless continues to promote carefree life and tap beer. The Slackers have decided to begin the construction of new residential projects on the Haasuur Peninsula - the easternmost part of the Lagmi Shi Island on which Cape Careless is located. As you can see, it will be a rather dense residential zone but, of course, with an easy enough access to bars and one of the beaches. You may also be interested to know that the City Library has finally been completed. It's been a long wait! As the handful of sailors from The Slackers tribe continues to go out on sea journeys, some of them decide to share their adventures with their brethren. These stories are being recorded and then stored in the library. Interestingly enough, given that The Slackers are completely illiterate (EQ = 2) the library contains no printed works... Only audiobooks and podcasts are available! Thank you for checking out and browsing through this (rather voluminous) update. I hope you had a nice time reading this entry! Perhaps the next time you visit, you will witness the birth of a new town... Thanks again and have a nice day, wherever you are!

Hi everyone, I am using Mas71 walls and love them. But I have been trying to choose the brown pipe, yet it is still showing the white instead. I am also using the Pezzajn add-on stairs and ramps etc which are showing the brown pipe. So you can imagine how strange it looks with the white on the walls then brown on the ramps. I have gone over everything a number of times but simply cannot work out why this is happening. I have just spent some time experimenting with changing from one fence to another, but no matter which one I choose to put in the plugins the walls still show the white guardrail. Yet the ramps will show whichever one I have chosen. What have I done wrong with the walls? Can anyone give me some ideas? Thanks.

This is a long lost, prop pack containing some fences and is being uploaded in good faith because the original web page for it no longer exists. From the included text file we only know the creator as PB. (These were not created by me.) Here's the information translated from German: Fence elements for SimCity 4 a set in wood a set in white Each set consists of 1, 2, 4 meters elements the elements belong in the plugin folder for SC4 and can be found in the LOT-Editor under PROPS. --- (One known use for it is for @mrbisonm's Nexis Country Church as a dependency.) -

Hi C:S builders, Do y'all know if fences around Parklife parks actually do anything? Do they actually prevent cims from entering the parks w/o paying? Or are they purely aesthetic? Thanks

SM2 Dry Stone Walls (Muro Secco) Are a type of wall made with stones found locally and assembled without mortar thus the name Dry Wall (Muro Secco) They are mostly found in European countries. Unfortunately they are the remnants of a lost art. No one makes them anymore. These walls were used to "fence in" properties and also to provide shelter for livestock. I tried to provide almost all possible combination in order to make just about any shape you may need. Orthogonal, diagonal, round corner, sharp corner, diagonal to orthogonal, broken walls, overhanging diags and orthos, open gates, closed gates, even gates on diagonals and more! There are also a few stone structures to complement the set and one special transition piece which will allow you to follow heights differences of 7.5 meters. (slope friendly). Please use the road lifter tool in the NAM menu to set height to 7.5 meters when using the transition piece for best results. Included are 4 lots (Orthogonal only) that will make it possible to create EDGE to EDGE scenes. And last but not least, I have included 2 MMP files based on the model and texture of the wall, for those hard to reach areas. They are slope friendly and you can even place them under water if you wish. I created a custom icon set with clear and easy to recognize symbols, You will find all 42 lots in the park menu. No cost to plop, maintain and bulldoze. Neutral lots. The lots have no base textures. Just plop them and dress them with your favorite MMP. No Dependencies. Simmer2 -

It has come to my attention that Caribou's website went down back in 2016 and after scouring the internet there is no trace of any of his work. Since I have his work stored in a secure offline vault, I feel that in the spirit of preservation, his work should be available to the public once again. These lots and models were made by Caribou and are provided AS IS, nothing in the Zips has been changed by me. Since he never provided any pictures I took it upon myself to plop all the lots in game for the purpose of taking snapshots in order for everyone to peruse them before downloading. Anyone in the future who would like to create new lots from these models can now use these uploads as a dependency. There are 5 lots in this zip 1) caribou fence long type a 1) caribou fence long type b 1) caribou fence of railway 1) caribou fence short type a 1) caribou fence short type b Many Thanks go to Tyberius06 for bringing this matter to my attention. Kind regards Simmer2 -

Description: This Mayor Mode Ploppable (MMP) allows you to plop CP's Lodgepole Fence props at various angles. There are 4 different MMP files: -Ortho -Diagonal -22 Degrees Left -22 Degrees Right Each MMP allows 9 clicks to get the desired orientation you wish (you can also nudge the fence prop slightly by adjusting your mouse after each click). The 10th click is a blank prop to cut down the need for bulldozing. Dependencies: BSC MEGA Props CP Vol01 Installation: Simply unzip the file and put the entire 'CP Lodgepole Fence MMPs' folder in your plugins (don't forget the dependency). Developer notes: This is another MMP I created a while back that was lost when SimPeg went down. I enjoy painting fences into my landscapes and these provide an easy way to accomplish that. It can be tricky at first, but with a little practice you can add fences to any landscape. Keep in mind, there are two orientations of each prop, so continue to click until you achieve the desired result. Support: For questions regarding this MMP, please feel free to visit my Modding Development Thread (SimCougs Lot&Mod Den) here on Simtropolis. Special Thanks: A very special thanks to c.p. for creating and sharing all of his wonderful creations, including the props used in this MMP. -

This set will make it possible to construct a double-sided perimeter fence around special industries, airports, prisons, secret facilities or anything else you want to protect. The set has seven pieces: 1x1 straight 2x1 straight 1x1 outer curve 1x1 inner curve 1x1 inner gate (access to inner area) 3x2 main gate (eyecandy) 2x1 main gate (transit enabled) Also included is a set of four path textures - concrete (default), asphalt, red stone and plain dirt. Choose one of the textures only (or rename the one you want to use with the prefix 'z_...', i.e. 'z_asphalt.dat'). You can exchange the texture for another one any time, no need to re-plop the lots. Make sure the 'keep_this_texture.dat' is installed all the time, as it contains the custom overlays. Of course you can also change the path texture with anything you please using LotEditor. The eyecandy gate can be used for any buildings that don't need direct road access. For all others you can use the transit enabled gate. DEPENDENCIES ------------------------------ * PEG_ChainLinkFence_RESOURCE needed file: PEG_ChainLinkFence_RESOURCE.dat (313 Kb) * SNM Security Fences needed file: SNM_SecurityFencingv2_props.dat (72 Kb) included in the BSC MEGA Props SNM Vol01 v2 file found in the Common Dependency pack Optional * SFBT Essentials (orientation-arrows while plopping) needed file: SFBT_ArkenbergeJoe_Props.dat (188 Kb) ------------------------------ The lots are completely neutral (no park or landmark effects), are cheap to plop and costs a monthly fee of 1§, except the gates - they cost between 10§ and 25§ a month. They are located at or near the end of the 'Parks' menue and have custom icons. Thanks to everybody making resources available! Enjoy! Hello again my fellow visitors. It seems that you have come by my dwelling again looking for something? All aside, these are the basic props for the residential buildings of the Eagleland Project. They feature things like garages, fences, and various yard objects that help flesh out the little houses and upcoming apartments and mansions that follow all the various building styles. The file includes a readme explaing how to work everything. Along with the Eagleland Texture pack (now updated), this will be able to give the resident buildings their full functionality and apperance. -

This resource pack is a collection of chain link fence props that can be used on any type of lot that requires security fencing. The props in this pack may be used by other developers to enhance the appearance of their lots. The pack contains two styles of fencing (with or without barb wire) and includes extra items such as diagonal fence sections, corner sections, pedestrian gates and automatic rolling styled gates. ** This dependency has no dependencies. All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here. -

I've seen a few requests for this kind of thing in the forums so I decided it would be a good exercise for my first ever set of lots. The walls will conform to all but the steepest slopes without looking too silly. They're designed to be used to divide up farmland like the dry stone walls found in the north of England. The set is made up of 14 pieces: 5 tiles with a trail with walls either side - street connection (transit enabled visually), a straight, corner, cross and a t-junction. The other 7 tiles have a single wall and can be used to divide farms without the need for a path. I'm not 100% happy with the base texture for these tiles, but it's difficult to find something that doesn't look too out of place against all of the farm fields. If anyone can suggest a better texture I'd be happy to do an update. The diagonal lot is a bit rubbishy as well and I only really made it as an afterthought. Each tile costs 40 to place, 10 to demolish. They can all be found in the parks menu although they don't have any actual park effect. They don't consume water or power but will reduce pollution slightly. There is one dependency for the dirt path lots. It is PEG_MTP_SUPER_TEXTURES_PACK.dat and can be found in: PEG MTP SUPER PACK Thanks to all the great Simtropolis folks who've inspired me - no names need mentioning - the worthy know who they are. Shandypest. -Cori edit: Added linky to the dependency for the dirt paths. (Thanks to @rivit for locating them.) -Cori edit again: I've made an Override for the Building Exemplars. The only difference is I've added the Item Order Property to each so they are no longer scattered throughout the Parks Menu. Place my file in the same DryStoneWalls folder as the 14 .SC4Lots. By name and by .dat extension, it'll load after them. The Stone Walls Menu Item Order Override by Cori v1.0.dat -
