  1. Caribou Under Elevated Filler Lots

    Version 1.0.0

    108 Downloads

It has come to my attention that Caribou's website went down back in 2016 and after scouring the internet there is no trace of any of his work. Since I have his work stored in a secure offline vault, I feel that in the spirit of preservation, his work should be available to the public once again. These lots and models were made by Caribou and are provided AS IS, nothing in the Zips has been changed by me. Since he never provided any pictures I took it upon myself to plop all the lots in game for the purpose of taking snapshots in order for everyone to peruse them before downloading. Anyone in the future who would like to create new lots from these models can now use these uploads as a dependency. There are 4 lots in this zip All 4 are filler lots for his ramps and elevated stations. Many Thanks go to Tyberius06 for bringing this matter to my attention. Kind regards Simmer2

Too much SC4 custom content gets lost on the web as websites come and go. Most Kazuki's content seems lost, except lots that have been salvaged on the STEX : Kazuki RedBrickPlaza Lots 1.0, Kazuki Road Divider Park Lots 1.0 and, relotted by nos17, his street stalls . ALso, (thanks rsc204 !) his Underbridge lots : Disclaimer : those are kazuki's only, I am only saving them for the community. ............... NB : I have slightly amended Kazuki's own readmes to delete the unreadable parts in Japanese. Package Overview There are 10 pieces in total included in this set. Basic pieces include left and right side fillers as well as a inner transition piece (blank and with trees). Left and right side fillers are offered in 4 variants - 1 blank and 3 with trees (each are different). 4. Hi 3d designers. I would like some half finished building props. I would like to use this on construction site fillers.
  5. I had been thinking about alternative ways to fill up unused space between buildings on curved roads, and while I was messing about with a small section of my town filling open spaces with area fillers and props, I thought of the following: Forkboy22 has created a superb collection of 'Better buildings' for which he used the Props Probability Changer mod to give existing assets a more varied look. I just started to try them out a few days ago, and I'm seriously impressed by it's simplicity and effectiveness - it really makes a big difference. Forkboy also created a number of growable 'filler' assets that instead of a building simply spawns a number of randomized props, and this is where I started paying attention: since these fillers are growable assets, they still don't tackle the problem of in-between space, so what I thought of was this: what about creating new plop-anywhere assets (parks, In guess) based on the area filler assets (like the ones for concrete, gravel, etc.), strip them of their terrain texture, and add randomized props in the same way as Forkboy did for his 'Better' collection? This means that it will be possible to fill up empty space in a random way without complaints about lacking road connections or service access - only downside is that these assets would be 100% aesthetic, so other than looking pretty (or fugly), they don't serve any purpose. On the plus side, this approach would keep the file size to an absolute minimum, as it would basically be the placeholder itself and the included collection of props - which could be fully vanilla for maximum compatibility, fully custom for maximum flexibility, or mixed for maximum best of both worlds. It would also be a way to create sets of 'purpose-based' fillers, for example having a 1x1 filler with only randomized tables, chairs, floor tiles etc., which can be used to make terraces. Or playground items and benches to create small randomized playgrounds. Other use cases could be parking lots, undeveloped plots with fences, construction sites, backyards, industrial stuff - pretty much anything one can think of. I'd love to give this a try myself, but unfortunately my knowledge of either ModTools or the Props Probability Changer is approaching null, so hence my question whether there is documentation or tutorials available. However, since there is no 'i' in 'Cities:Skylines' (well, figuratively speaking ), feel free to run away with the idea if you think this might be something worth trying yourself!
  6. SMFP-Spanish Median Fillers Pack

    Version 1.0.0

Spanish Median Fillers Pack (SMFP) by Peperodriguez2710 - English Hi, because some members asked me to release a filler pack for S RHW networks that I did for myself, here it is! It's made to be like the medians found all around Spain, especially like the ones found in the arid areas of Castile and the Meseta, known as secarrales, so all the pieces with Weeds and the pieces with Bushes have dry-looking weeds like the vegetation found there. Because I know that you may not want to see that dry weeds, I used seasonal props that only appear on summer. All pieces have reflecting posts. The pack consists of 18 fillers located in the Misc. Transport menu, with three different types of vegetation: Weeds, Bushes and Flowers, and two types of barriers: Guardrails and Concrete separators. There are pieces with freeway lighting too, but it's merely cosmetic so them don't light actually. Then there are some turning area pieces and some ending pieces. Almost all lots are neutral, except the turning area radar lots, that provide some money because of the fines. The lots are classified with letters: W: Fillers with only dry weeds on summer B: Fillers with bushes and dry weeds on summer F: Fillers with flowers G: Fillers with guardrails C: Fillers with concrete dividers L: Fillers with freeway lighting Because of it was made for personal use, there's a lot of dependencies: ·Rush Hour Expansion ·BSC - VIP girafe wheat (v1.0) linkie ·BSC MEGA Props - MJB Vol02 (v1.0) linkie ·BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol 01 (v1.0) linkie ·BSC - VIP girafe carpack vol. 1 & 2 (v1.0) linkie ·Light Replacement Mod (LRM) v4.0 Mega Pack (Only the props) linkie ·RHW-6C Steel Barriers Mod v1.0 (Only the props) linkie ·Overhanging Parkings 1.01 (Only Grfe_Cars_family_props.dat is needed) linkie ·Nams Props Pack Vol 2 linkie ·R6 - TSC - Prop Pack Vol.1 v V2 linkie ·NAM RHW Props (Included with NAM installation) The installer and readme are available in both English and Spanish For further information, read the Readme provided after the installation, and if you have any issue or suggestion, ask here or by Message. Enjoy!
  7. MGB - Diagonal Filler Set

    Version

    3,001 Downloads

Everybody needs some diagonal fillers, right? As usual everyone has their own ideas and ways of going about such things, so here is my personal "basic" set uploaded for others to make use of. Features: - All sidewalks will adapt to your Sidewalk Mod, so they will work with them all (Super light asphalt shown)*. - Maxis trees used will be replaced if you have a tree replacement mod. - Maxis Streetlight will show your streetlights if you have a Maxis Streetlight replacement mod. Dependencies: The only dependency is SFBT Essentials, however you only need one file from this set, SFBT_ArkenbergeJoe_Texturen.dat. If you are downloading these fillers for use with my TGN mod, then you do not need SFBT essentials, the file "Diag Filler Override" contains more compatible versions already. If you use MAS71's walls, or install the file MAS71_GuideArrows_v100.dat from this set, you will see helper pieces to assist with orientation when plopping. *Note: These fillers require a texture replacement mod that replaces the default Maxis LE textures with your sidewalk, otherwise they will show the default Maxis textures, i.e. white. In case your sidewalk mod doesn't have one yet, it only takes about 5-10 minutes to do, I've uploaded a tutorial here which novices should be able to follow. If you are still stuck or have any comments, feel free to comment in my shack on Simtropolis or visit me at my regular hangout on Simpeg. Enjoy, MGB.

This RCI Boardwalk Pier Filler Lots are for those of you who have figured out that you can do a lot more with the new RCI Boardwalks lots... then just make Boardwalks. Beyond making causeways and wrapping peninsulas, you can also plop the RCI Boardwalks out fully in the water... and make piers and islands that... admitted serve no functional purpose... but can be fun to make and nice to look at. The only missing element was these single-tile wide filler lots to plop down the middle of your pier or to act as filler for an island. But now, with these filler lots installed, you can easily turn any open water area into a massive hazard to navigation. This package contains 6 filler lots for you to get creative with... all of which appear in the Water Transportation menu directly under the normal RCI Boardwalk lots. Most of the filler lots have no maintenance costs or any park-like properties... as they are essentially just eye-candy. From left to right, as viewed in the above screen shot, the included lots are: 1. The 2x1 Pier Head Lot. Provides a formal entrance to your pier area... complete with pretzel stand a nite-lit tree planter. This is the only lot in this collection that plops on the coastal tile like the other RCI Boardwalk lots. It also has park & landmark properties to represent the entire pier. 2. The 2x1 Filler Lot featuring 2 planters with large ferns. 3. The 1x1 Restroom Lot. Because its a long walk back to shore. 4. The 1x1 Filler Lot. Simple, with a single lamp post to illuiminate its simplicity at night. 5. The 1x1 Snack Bar Lot. Hotdogs, Hamburgers and the ever-popular Smelt-on-a-Stick. Or as the locals refer to it.. "Bait!! Yummy!! 6. The 1x1 Picnic Area Lot. Most people think the umbrellas are for shade. But if you've ever tried to eat around a lot of seagulls, you know better. If you don't remember putting Ranch Dressing on your fries... you probably didn't. For help creating the perfect terrain for CDK lots, we strongly recommend reading The Official CDK Tutorial. ** This lot requires the PEG-OWW2 Resource Pack 1 All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.
