Great job! Just suggestions but, it could have been nice to use CSX's props, he made very decent colonial dutch houses and farmhouses that you can find in Western Cape as well as a few Zulu/Xhosa style houses. But your models are much better in terms of quality The slum picture looks nice, although I'd say it belongs to some parts of Western Africa or DR Congo rather than Western Cape. The climate is partly Mediterranean in Cape Town, you won't see coconut trees and so many bushes and trees in the slums, and the floor is mostly sand and dirt. Apart from that, it's an amazing work as always

@EvansRE4 The first building is from Thailand, given the low number of Thai Batters, I'll take a wild guess and say it by on001222. Some of his files were lost when the website changed (or maybe he took them down voluntarily). You can ask him for the file. I really can't remember the last building, though I'm 100% sure it's on the STEX, maybe something by the NDEX team (O'neill, Equinox, N747, Dusktrooper). Good luck on your hunt

Well, although the textures are slightly brighter than the original, condo buildings in many regions of Brazil are covered in ceramic tiles that are bright and reflect the sunshine which makes the building super shiny at some times of the day, in that sense that's a pretty realistic texturing

More options in terms of government, thanks to the parliament where you can have a military junta government in the Junta DLC, options to offer military education in schools, options to choose the kind of content the media can deliver (such as propaganda). There is also a DLC allows you to add propaganda towers everywhere in your nation. You should watch videos on YouTube on how to build your totalitarian state, there are plenty for Tropico 4 and 5

Tropico 4 was better if you wanted to create a totalitarian state. In Tropico 5 you will see in the game that you have counselors lobbying for their faction (militarists, nationalists, capitalists, etc.) If you check the almanach, you will see how you do in terms of popularity with each faction, just listen to what they have to say and you easily create a totalitarian state. Militarists do not like freedom, so do not build tv towers and newspaper building, as they provide freedom. Use a lot of police stations and military building, pay them well to avoid strikes and problems in case of rebellion. Nationalists do not like immigration, Totalitarian like police states, so use the adequate options hen you will choose your Constitution. Then use the edicts and choose what you think is adequate for a fascist state. Stuff like martial law, no free lunch, secret police, big brother, etc. In terms of economy it's up to you, do you want a fascist style economy like WW2 3rd Reich or a communist state. You will always need a balance of agriculture, industry and tourism, considering you need at least agriculture and industry if you want to avoid strikes, civil and rebellion.
