About This File

Hello guys!

I'm proud to present my second release at Simtropolis. The following package is part of a bigger seris of my take on some Brazilian Buildings.

This download consists of a set of both residential and commercial buildings, lots and props. The stats assigned to them are based on SC4 vanilla buildings' stats.

There are in total 7 commercial buildings and lots and another 16 residential buildings and lots, all in 1x2 lots.

The buildings reflect mainly the architectural style of poor neighborhoods in medium and large cities of Brazil, and generally of Latin America as a whole. It is worth pointing out that this kind of housing, altough from poor neighborhoods, are not proper favela buildings. I took inspiration from real life houses and shops located in various regions of Brazil, but nominally from the cities of Caruaru-PE, Recife-PE, Feira de Santana-BA, Maceió-AL, Garanhuns-PE, Belo Horizonte-MG, São Paulo-SP, Rio de Janeiro-RJ.

I hope you all enjoy it! Please do contact me if you find any bugs or erros.

Dependencies: BSC Mega Props - CP Vol02

Installation: Just drop the folders located in the zip file into your Plugins folder

A little tip: Commercial buildings all have some sort of drawing of inscription in their front façade. This should help you distinguish commercial and residential lots

thank you for these excellent buildings  nice to have more choices  seems most S American BATs are either favelas or high wealth

buildings so these will fill a gap

Good to have some flair outside of the more focused regional designs. Ever since the LBT team stopped producing a large amount the Southwestern,Central and S.American bats have been to a minimum.

I have become more familiar in 3Ds Max and even gained enough expertise in it over the past few months that I think my skill level is approaching a point where I think I am good enough to start making mods for Cities: Skylines. I started practicing in 3DsMax to make brick rowhouses for the game Banished but since I am more interested in Cities: Skylines now and my buildings were practice so I can mod C:S, I decided to start a new project of making buildings just for Cities: Skylines.
I whipped this building up over the course of 4-7 hours today. It would have taken only 1 or 2 hours had I not made a ton of mistakes that required me to start from the beginning.

It will normally grow on a 4 tile wide x 3 tile deep lot with the ability to grow on a 4x4 lot with a backyard.
FYI, I plan on making a ColorMask for the outer 2 rowhouses so it could have more variety (bright red, pink, tan, and whitewashed).
Please give me feedback to help me improve the quality of my creations.
      Thank you!

KOSC presents: Diego Del Llano's Puerto Vallarta Growables - Icon Vallarta
Diego's Puerto Vallarta Growables is a new series of re-lots featuring @Diego Del Llano's fantastic BATs that were based in his hometown. As quite of few of these buildings had their bases graciously removed for lotting, I've decided to take another step beyond just converting them into growables. This first release will cover Icon Vallarta, a luxurious condo building located on the beachfront in Puerto Vallarta.
      Package Overview
The building was lotted in several different configurations, from your typical small footprint growable to a massive two and three tower complex. Some lots take advantage of the fact that the real-life version is located in a tropical climate. Thus, several lot will have palm trees and tropical plants as its primary flora source. The layout of the largest complex in particular is loosely based off its actual real-life counterpart from the layout of the entrances down to the relative placement of the pool and the buildings.
Included in the following package are a total of 5 lots: All are R§§§ growables.
      General Stats
The included growable lots will provide occupancy anywhere from 915 R§§§ to 2738 R§§§ sims, based on the number of buildings in the lot. The lots themselves are offered in the following configurations.
3x2 front, stage 8; 3x3 front, stage 7; 4x4 left corner, stage 7 for the single tower variant 6x8 front, stage 6 for the dual tower variant 6x10 front, stage 7 for the triple tower variant Detailed stats and information can be found in the enclosed README.
      Install Instructions
Drop the files in your My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins folder. Since the original buildings used separate IDs for both the MaxisNite and DarkNite models, two separate zips are included at your convenience.

The BSP proudly presents the Cadillac Tower!

Cadillac Tower is a Beaux Arts skyscraper located in downtown Detroit, Michigan. At 38 floors, it was the tallest building in the world outside of New York and Chicago when it was built in 1927. It now houses the city's planning, development and recreation departments.

Included with this BAT is a prop that depicts three billboards that have graced the side of Cadillac Tower in the past, including one of the legend himself: Barry Sanders! The billboards appear at random.

If you do not wish to use the billboard, simply remove the file named "Prop_CadTower_Billboard.dat"
2x2 Co$$ growable and ploppable. Available in both MaxisNite and DarkNite. DarkNite requires the Day and Nite Modd

The BSP proudly presents the Hamilton Arms!

The Hamilton Arms was an apartment building located at the corner of Hamilton Avenue and Hill Street in Highland Park, Michigan. The building was demolished in 2012. This small, 5-story apartment will add some character and charm to your medium-wealth neighborhoods!
1x2 R$$ growable. Available in both MaxisNite and DarkNite. DarkNite requires the Day and Nite Modd

An old favorite comes back with fresh textures and DarkNite compatibility!

The Film Exchange Building was built at the corner of Cass and Montcalm in 1926 for the distribution and booking of movies for the Detroit area. The building featured fireproof vaults for the nitrate films. By 1964, the building was mainly occupied by unions. In the 1970s, the doors were finally closed on the Film Exchange Building.

A point of clarification: This version is completely remodded, so you can have both the old version AND the new version in your plugins folder and there will be no conflicts. However, if you only want to use the new version, you will want to delete all files associated with the old version.
2x3 growable and ploppable CO$$. Available in both MaxisNite and DarkNite DarkNite requires the Day and Nite Modd
