AC Plac Drzewny/AC Mondi Paper Woodyard This AC Mondi Paper Woodyard was made by Aras (AC) and originally was uploaded onto http://www.simcitypolska.pl/, which is no longer existing and this upload hasn't been available according to my best knowladge since then. Please note, with the permission of the Simtropolis Staff Members (Cyclone Boom and CorinaMarie) and former SimCity Polska Staff Member (kbieniu7), this file has been uploaded on behalf of Aras. It was not available anymore due to the unfortunate demise of the SC4 Polska site. All the works contained within this download (lots, descriptors and models)* were created by Aras. *models now part of the Polish Mega Props - Misc Industrials dependency pack. Some of the stats have been updated by SC4PIM-X, also the lot now doesn't have pass through TE switches for rail, it's only connecting visually to any kind of networks. Installation: COPY/Extract the "Aras" folder from the *.zip into your plugin folder. You don't need to keep the "_Documents" folder in your Plugins, best if you remove it somewhere safe outside of your plugins. To uninstall: bulldoze any instance of this lot in your city, then remove the file(s) from your Plugins. Description: Cryptocurrencies are all the rage lately for investors and contemporary governments are debating whether and how to regulate and tax them. Sometimes the investor can remain passive while a computer can be set up to "mine" the cryptocurrency - or verify that transactions are legitimate - and are rewarded with coin in that currency. In this business deal, a group of rich investors are looking for a place to plop their mining computers, funded by the city government to build, of course. In return, you will receive §1,092 each month in revenue. Beware, though - once the crypto mining is underway this tiny lot becomes an energy hog! The file contains one landmark ploppable business deal lot and one growable high tech lot. Stats: Lot size: 1x1 Revenue: 1092 Plop Cost (Bulldoze): 4400 (100) Jobs: 2476 Wealth: High Wealth I-HT Power: 1610 Water: 5 Pollution: 2/2/2/0@1/1/0/0 Dependencies: None. The Like Factory, by Mattb325. --------------------------------------- I recently saw some ads for companies offering to provide social media users (facebook/bloggers, etc) 'likes' for their posts or product placements for money. What has the world come to when a 'like' can carry currency and be used to skew data, user preferences, and so on? In reality these companies would use platforms like airtasker/taskrabbit/service seeking etc to farm out piece-meal work in the gig economy to under-employed people willing to work for peanuts (or worse, people who actually think that such actions make a real difference), but my twisted sense of humor rather prefers the notion of a bland industrial unit full of folks slaving away clicking 'like' on old inane posts, old files etc, all day long. At any rate, it is not intended to be a 'serious' building but was rather an excuse to make another little IH-T building to compete with Maxis' stuff...there are still so few IH-T lots available. This is a growable building; it has been modded to not not become too weedy. --------------------------------------- STATS IH-T§§§: Lot size : 4x4 (Use the CTRL key when zoning) Growth Stage: 2 (Medium and High Density Zoning) Bulldoze Cost: § 326 Capacity Satisfied: IHT§§§ 272 Pollution: 6 (Air)/ 2 (Water)/ 4 (Garbage ) Pollution Radius: 6/7/0 Power Consumed: 49 Mwh Water Consumed: 46 Gal/Month Occupant Group: Hi Tech Industrial Anchor Building --------------------------------------- NOTE ABOUT DARK NITE vs MAXIS NITE: This download contains TWO model files; one for dark nite users (and other night-time darkening mods, such as Gizmos night-mod) and one for the standard Maxis nite. You must keep only one file - depending on which version you use. If you are unsure whether you have a night-darkening mod installed, then choose the Maxis night version. Regardless of which file you choose to keep, make sure you DO NOT delete the Lot File! If you use the dark nite version, you will need a dark nite mod. (http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/23089-simfox-day-and-nite-modd/) --------------------------------------- DEPENDENCIES: To ensure proper functionality, make sure the following files are in your plugins: *Mattb325 BAT Props Vol04: (https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=3672) --------------------------------------- To install, simply unzip the contents of this file into your plugins folder. And did the Countenance Divine, Shine forth upon our clouded hills? And was Jerusalem builded here, Among these dark Satanic Mills? --William Blake, "And did those feet in ancient time" The F.A.U.S.T., or Fractional Angle Ugly Shed Towers, are designed to almost fit in those spaces where nothing will truly ever fit. They are as big as you can get with shed construction and not simply topple over. Their additions ooze and encroach on every easement. Here's a fractional angle FA-3 building for your cities. It fits on the first of the 3 FA3 positions on one mirror only (see screenshots). Extravagantly modeled in HD with night lights, interiors and opening window casements. Included is a special lot with a large, lighted sign on top of the building. This sign is by @jtportland and you can check out the model file yourself at Lots (Landmark, balanced to 2 story average with PIM-X): I-HT randomized 1x1 plop with overhanging fractional angle FA3 (depth 1/right, D1/R) building prop. 9 jobs. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD Quetz Isoprenes by HunD88 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW Today I have the honour of presenting the final IRM I-HT upload (for the time being), the next uploads will be manufacturing industry. The 40th and last upload in this series, Quetz Isoprenes by HunD88, contains an entire phalanx of lots (16 in total) because HunD88 was kind enough to provide a bunch of individual BAT models that can be assembled to various lot configurations - a possibility that I gladly took advantage of! I had a blast lotting this one, although it's been a lot of work, too. Once I had a general theme laid out, however, I kept recycling familiar elements to ensure all individual lots would share enough common features even though I did my best to make each and every lot unique. Some of the lots are really plain jane and generic, others are more intricate. You'll find everything from small single-building lots to large complexes in here. As a special bonus, this download also contains some "mech" lots that may grow adjacent to other I-HT anchor lots and will hopefully help to bring some more variety to your high-tech areas. Even if you have the IRM anchor lots blocked using my IRM lot blocker, these "mech" lots (pumping facilities and tanks) will be able to grow and complement those anchor lots that are not blocked. Since all Maxis lots contained in the IRM Base Pack could optionally be used with toroca's Industrial Jobs Quadrupler, this download is offered in two versions: a regular one for those who prefer the default job numbers, and a quadrupler-compatible version for those who prefer using the modified stats. The .sc4desc files for the regular version will look like this: IRM_[Filename].sc4desc The .sc4desc files for the quadrupler version will look like this: IRM_[Filename]_x4.sc4desc After downloading, simply delete the file of the version you don't want to use. If you leave both in your plugins, the quadrupler version will most probably override the default version. The default version of the building will provide 10-70 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 40-280 I-HT jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 2x3, Stage 1 (Quetz Isoprenes 1 - small building x1), 15/60 jobs 3x2, Stage 1 (Quetz Isoprenes 1 - small building x1), 15/60 jobs 3x3, Stage 1 (Quetz Isoprenes 2 - small building x2), 25/100 jobs 4x3, Stage 1 (Quetz Isoprenes 2 - small building x2), 25/100 jobs 3x5, Stage 1 (Quetz Isoprenes 3 - small building + tanks + pipes), 25/100 jobs 4x4, Stage 1 (Quetz Isoprenes 3 - small building + tanks + pipes), 25/100 jobs 3x3, Stage 1 (Quetz Isoprenes 4 - larger building), 25/100 jobs 4x2, Stage 1 (Quetz Isoprenes 4 - larger building), 25/100 jobs 4x5, Stage 3 (Quetz Isoprenes 5 - small + large + tanks + pipes), 50/200 jobs 5x4, Stage 3 (Quetz Isoprenes 5 - small + large + tanks + pipes), 50/200 jobs 5x6, Stage 3 (Quetz Isoprenes 6 - small + large + 2x tanks + pipes), 70/280 jobs 6x5, Stage 3 (Quetz Isoprenes 6 - small + large + 2x tanks + pipes), 70/280 jobs 2x3, Stage 1 (Quetz Isoprene Tanks - tanks x1), 20/80 jobs [MECH] 5x3, Stage 2 (Quetz Isoprene Tanks - tanks x2), 40/160 jobs [MECH] 1x4, Stage 1 (Quetz Isoprene Pumping - pipes x1), 10/40 jobs [MECH] 2x4, Stage 1 (Quetz Isoprene Pumping - pipes x2), 20/80 jobs [MECH] For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. Within that folder, you will find all the game-relevant files and a sub-folder containing the HTML readme and some screenshot(s). If you no longer wish to use this download, proceed as follows: Bulldoze all lots pertaining to this download Save all the cities and exit the game when you're done bulldozing Remove the associated files from your plugins folder Hint: Just to be sure, I recommend moving the undesired files somewhere else and doing some checks before you delete them permanently. This way, if it turns out you forgot to bulldoze something, you can add it back in temporarily until you're done. 3 - DEPENDENCIES IRM Base Pack with all its dependencies - while these lots will technically work, they are meant to tie into the IRM. They may look out of place and show unexpected behaviour if used independently. Since this is an extension to the IRM, all the dependencies of the original pack still apply. If you have them in place, you can download every single growable IRM and IRM W2W lot I have ever made and will never have to download any additional packs for props and textures used on the lot. Quetz isoprenes Co 2 - you'll also need the original upload of the BAT to see the building(s). Only the .sc4model file is required. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD Nova Energetics by HunD88 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW Ok, as the conclusion of this IRM upload series draws closer, we get to the somewhat more interesting lotting projects... The 39th and next-to-last upload in this series, Nova Energetics by HunD88, suggested itself for a combination with a well-known Maxis high-tech industry buildings because it was so similar in colour that I simply had to try creating what would hopefully look like one coherent complex. As you can see on the screenshots, I made two standalone lots as well as four complex lots with the main building and either one or two outbuildings. I remember lotting this one was fun, and I tried to make the lots very individual in character. The big 5x5, for example, features a stone wall topped with a chainlink fence around the outbuildings and has a certain "high-security-do-not-enter" vibe to it - we can imagine that the blue thingamabobs are some dangerous high-voltage switchgear stuff. Other lots are much more open, and feature various characteristics (trucks, cargo crates, propane tanks, parking lots, footpaths, fences) to varying degrees. I hope you'll like at least some of them and they won't look too repetitive. Needless to say, prop families were also used extensively once again to offer the best variation possible. The default version of the building will provide 50/70/90 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 200/280/360 I-HT jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 3x4, Stage 2 (Nova Energetics 1) 5x3, Stage 2 (Nova Energetics 1) 4x5, Stage 3 (Nova Energetics 2) 5x4, Stage 3 (Nova Energetics 2) 5x5, Stage 3 (Nova Energetics 3) 6x5, Stage 3 (Nova Energetics 3) For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD Ohm Resistors by HunD88 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW Might as well make a second upload today to get this series done finally... The 38th upload in this series, Ohm Resistors by HunD88, is certainly not its highlight. It's one of HunD88's earlier BATs, and while it still looks OK to me, I must admit it's not my favourite building. More importantly, however, this might have been the first lot that I made for the I-HT category, and in any case you can certainly tell it's not my best! Anyway, the building certainly has character with the 3D sign and its "shoebox tilted to the side" shape. The lots look kinda "meh" to me in hindsight, but I guess they'll do. The bigger one has some footpaths and greenery towards the front and side and parking to the back, whereas the smaller one is of the simple "island in a sea of concrete" type. The following lots are included in this download: 3x4, Stage 2 5x3, Stage 2 For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD EffectiMed by HunD88 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW The STEX has been picking up some steam recently - I don't wanna miss out! Guess it's time to contribute another IRM upload. The 37th upload in this series, EffectiMed by HunD88, is another 10 years old building that withstood the test of time rather acceptably IMHO. It's a small facility that produces medical supplies and features a somewhat peculiar architecture with those narrow arched "eyebrow" windows and that irregular slab on top of the main structure. Despite the arches, I think it has a slight brutalist vibe to it. Not much to tell about the lots - the wider one is really simplistic, whereas the narrower one features a somewhat more elaborate walkway and parking layout including diagonally parked (and, thanks to Cycledogg, properly shaded) cars. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD Cookie Research by HunD88 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW OK, it's time to dig up some really old BATs by an often overlooked BAT artist! The 36th upload in this series, Cookie Research by HunD88, was originally uploaded as a bakery 10 years ago. However, I thought it would look OK as a high-tech industry building, and then I remembered how the first high-tech building you used to get in SimCity3000 was often an inconspicuous little facility called something along the lines of "Cookie Research Institute" in my game's language. Therefore, I decided to pick up the theme and re-lot this one as a high-tech cookie research facility. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD Mail Distribution Centre by Mattb325 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW After a shorter hiatus this time, I'm pleased to upload a relot of another very interesting BAT: The 35th upload in this series, Mail Distribution Centre, is the second of the two BATs by Mattb325 that I decided to re-lot for the IRM. This one was modular, so it allowed for very flexible layouts. I decided to keep it basic, both by keeping it at two fully equipped lots (all buildings present) and by restricting these to a relatively vanilla-friendly lot size of 6x6 each. It might not look like it at the first glance, but a lot of work went into these. The buildings are really fun to fiddle around with, and I think I have found two configurations where textures and building props complement each other rather nicely. Both lots are full of details and have several footpaths connecting the individual structures and a little open-air break area. Shaded props were used very extensively once again. The default version of the building will provide 100 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 400 I-HT jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 6x6, Stage 2 (2 versions) For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. Mail Distribution Centre - you'll also need the original upload of the BAT to see the building(s). The following files are relevant: - Mattb325MailDistributionCentre.dat (required to see the buildings) - AustraliaPostTruckAutomata.dat (optional to have the building spawn post truck automata). INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD GSK Packaging by Mattb325 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW I'd have to look up how many of Tag_One's BATs we have covered with the recent uploads, and rest assured that there will be more. However, today it's time to turn onto the finish straight for high-tech IRM with another author: The 34th upload in this series, GSK Packaging, is the first of two BATs by Mattb325 that I decided to re-lot for the IRM. Back when I did these, I couldn't know that he'd release many more superb I-HT BATs, so they didn't make it into this pack and may come at a later point. Anyway, back to the BAT: This one was quite the challenge to lot because it sits on a grass-covered hill that is part of the actual model - a very interesting setup that makes for much of this BAT's appeal IMO. However, it's always a tricky business to achieve a virtually seamless transition with textures, and since the BATted portion is shaded, putting regular props right next to it would have looked odd. Fortunately I could obscure part of the seam with a hedge, and use Cycledogg's shaded props rather extensively to try and blur the line between BAT and lot. Did I succeed? That's up to you to judge.... Why a new lot anyway? Well, while there was absolutely nothing wrong with the original one, I wanted to make sure some typical IRM features such as the standard lampposts etc. are present so it all blends together. This time around, both lots have the same footprint, but are pretty different in appearance. The first one has the building facing the road and a wall surrounding the parking lot, but it's not a perimeter wall so there's some open space left... with other industry growing around, this free outer perimeter of the lot outside the wall might look like part of the adjacent lot, hopefully helping to blur grid lines a bit. The second lot with the building side facing the road is rather closed and secluded on the left, but totally open to the right and back. It could look good on corners, or as the last building of an industry block. The default version of the building will provide 42 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 168 I-HT jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 4x5, Stage 2 (2 versions) For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. GSK Packaging - you'll also need the original upload of the BAT to see the building(s). Only the .sc4model file is required. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD TagFood by Tag_One 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW We are getting closer to the finish line, at least in terms of this batch of I-HT uploads. The 33rd upload in this series, TagFood, is going to be the last one of Tag_One's creations for the high-tech sector. It is a pretty huge facility with offices, production & storage facilities and warehousing all in one building - modern food processing at its best! This time, the main challenge in terms of lotting was getting the lot textures to line up halfways naturally with main entrance, side entrances, back doors, and loading bays. I think I did OK in that respect if I may say so myself. Shaded props make another pretty nifty appearance here - I really like their effect. As usual, there's a choice of 2 lots, each with different footprints, different layout and the building at a different angle, but both will look particularly good on corners. If you leave both in your plugins, the quadrupler version will most probably override the default version. The default version of the building will provide 125 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 500 I-HT jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 6x5, Stage 3 6x6, Stage 3 For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD Rena Electronics by Tag_One 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW Since I currently have some time on my hand (gasp), let's keep the uploads coming! The 32nd upload in this series, Rena Electronics by Tag_One, is a very interesting BAT. Its basic box shape is accentuated by a few characteristic features such as the imposing, angled glass front, the wide skylights and the angled loading bays, which I tried to echo in the lot design using some angled textures and jestarr's wonderful 22.5° trucks. Not much else to say this time - I hope you like the result! The default version of the building will provide 50 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 200 I-HT jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 4x5, Stage 2 5x4, Stage 2 For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item. 25. IRM I-HT PolarTech by Tag_One

INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION MOD PolarTech by Tag_One 1 - INTRODUCTION/OVERVIEW OK, before I lose steam again, let's keep 'em coming, shall we? The 31st upload in this series is another whopper of a building, PolarTech by Tag_One. This high-tech cooling facility and warehouse comes either as road-facing building on a relatively compact 5x5 lot with only minimal visitor / VIP parking in front of the main entrance (those poor workers probably have to park their car somewhere in the back, but there's no direct parkign on the lot), or in a second version with the cargo bays oriented towards the side and a curved entrance. Not much else to say about the lot, other than that I made sure the footpath texture on the square lot matched the overall colour scheme! If you leave both in your plugins, the quadrupler version will most probably override the default version. The default version of the building will provide 110 I-HT jobs, the quadrupler version 440 I-HT jobs. The following lots are included in this download: 5x5, Stage 3 6x4, Stage 3 For those of you who like to play with day and night view, the building used on this lot is compatible with the following night light mode(s): Maxis Night with gradual day/night cycle: YES Maxis Night with static day or night: YES DarkNite* with static day or night: YES *DarkNite requires SimFox' Day and Nite Modd (or a similar darkening mod) to be installed in your plugins. 2 - USE If you extract this archive to your root plugins folder, it should create a folder IRM\IRM Expansion\[NAME OF BAT], where [NAME OF BAT] represents the name of this download item.
