Looks great You sure work impressively fast !

This dusty yellow looks good imo, these big machines being yellow seems right into the cliche I guess. Maybe you should saturate it a little in order to make the handlers stand a little more ? Or maybe make slight variations so not all the handlers would look on the same level of dustiness. Just a personal idea, that's what I would've done

@Sciurus Thx This van is indeed something like a J9, but not really being a car person I didn't think about it as a reproduction. A few details change - I think I've made kind of an unconscious mix between a J9 and the crippled late-70's Toyota Liteace my mother drove for centuries (the only reason that made her skip for a new car was the side sliding door coming off, that kept apart it was still just fine ) About the dirtiness of this last house, it's in fact the fourth version of it and there are already two that look more fresh. In fact most of the IRL houses I based mine on look quite ramshackle - with some refreshed ones popping out here and there. I'm trying to recreate the atmosphere of this kind of places I've been haunting a lot in my teens. I could send you some google maps links if you want @matias93 That's a really nice comment ! Thx for following my works for so long btw

I went into this yesterday or the day before... Just kind of a mashup of already made elements, with some new stuff. So it's moving forwards quite quick It will be a 3X4 all-cooked-in lot with a narrow passageway on one side. Just to get some better nightlight reflections on the ground and on the vans in the yard I hope. Maybe I'll put some separate prop version of the van as a useless piece of junk bonus somewhere in the folder. Also I forgot to show this. I changed a few details before exporting this fourth - and last - version (the backdoors I think).

You should be happy with it, at least I think so - it looks great The light and shadows on it are very well managed imo. Looking forward to see more work from you

@Sciurus Thanks man (we hope to see you back soon here ) @matias93 Thanks a lot I'm simply announcing a small upload... Three abandonned houses I made for personnal use basically. Some have appeared in my CJ here and there. Hope you like it... It's full-HD, read-me in both french and english as usual. One of them include kind of an easter egg - I have not done that for long and I was lacking ideas. It's somehow a small story of urban life, told by four elements I think. You won't understand the whole thing happening here if you miss one Don't forget the link : https://www.toutsimcities.com/downloads/view/3317

OwO great lightning ! The base part reminds me of an hotel near my home, by night.

Really nice... You work fast The material handlers do look way better, congrats !

@matias93 That's pretty good I love dense developments on steep slopes as there is many places like this in my birthplace (with indeed, some ridiculous gaps between two levels, sometimes the next building overhanging the one next to it from 4 or 5 floors). The area along the plaza looks very neat But maybe this small 1X1 R$ with the old BYRRH add on one side appears too often... And I used this one for a while, I know it grows like mushrooms after a rainy day and hardly gets competitors... Apart from that, I really like your choice of buildings, it's nicely coherent in terms of colors and the whole thing gains kind of an atmosphere from that (I guess).

@Linus van Pelt Freshman coming out of nowhere with excellent work ? great !! Don't you think you'd better cut up this handsome scrap yard into multiple props ? It would allow to re-use the various elements for other purposes... Or even to offer multiple lottings by yourself Anyway, this looks great, and it's needed - I could hardly mention a single custom scrap yard so far... Keep it up !

OMG IT'S NOT IN TOP TEN AND THEN HE MAKES IT WHAT THE HECK ...Please forgive me, I really wanted to make these sketchy towers. And probably, the other 3X3 that is made of the same elements more or less as it would be an easy rip-off. This is of course, work in progress. Still lots of details to add, the original roof junk of course, and some textures improvements. Back part will come as a separate prop.

Your models aren't bad at all in fact - but they sure need some re-work, more attention to detail, maybe some more practice to blend well with most of sc4 original content, and custom content. You should start a BAT thread to get some advice before uploading, the community is nice and would give you some attention for sure.

Hi there... I'm searching for this beautifull 50-60's tower I found in an old CJ entry. I don't even think I can figure out who made it. Anyway thanks in advance

Added the few missing details to that... And fueled the small greenhouse with creeping plants on canvas hè hè After that I did a first attempt in 6X5 lotting that leaded to be quite convenient. I was able to place the small central plaza all with sneaky streets... And nine footprints for nine houses. So... ...I started to make the fitting concrete fences I need Of course there will be more usual, regular lottings for every house model comming. But I wanted so much to experiment a little. That was getting boring, and a 6X5 megalot may be interesting for some ?

I've always loved the prefabs in original sc3k - especially the Sketchy Towers (And, let's be perfectly honest - it's the kind of stuff I'd like to recreate myself for sc4 It's so much alike the prefabs in my town)

@Simmer2 It looks very similar to any secondary station I know, built along special high-speed-rail lines. Nothing but platforms, and side tracks to allow the direct trains to outstrip the other ones. You came to the essential

There are certainly some things in that, that I can actually do - I will give to this some attention, I promise

Nightlights look great in this final render - especially the top imo, with these three red light signals for planes imo, it just affirms the soft futuristic feeling the blue and purple lights give

I've nearly finnished the yellow and white version which is one of the color variants visible in IRL Petite Cité TASE... Only a few details to add. Then I'll probably make a fictionnal blue and white, or blue and yellow version so with four variants, we'll get noice repetitive fluctuation effect which is what I intend to see in a worker's neighborhood. So, a future F*CKING TILESET is growing And when I'm done with that... THIS ONE'S NEXT : THEN THIS ONE : (...with no faces and no photos on it, of course. I've "borrowed" these images somewhere on the internet as I was to lazy to go myself at the actual location. Maybe, or probably let's say, that the next one will be a compromise between these last two, as the first one I did is already kind of an adaptation... And then I'll make a more simple house model from an other Cité, this time, for sure)

I'm always happy when there's some new pictures from you - and you actually get better and better skilled. Great work -
