Impressive building, nice work. Bigger buildings are kind of a pain especially when you never worked on something this big before. Do you plan to make it the refurbished office building or the original warehouse ?

hi does everyone know where i can find the nice watertower in the bottom left corner next to @EffTheGrid's nice new gridbusting parking lots ? it doesn't reminds me of anything, maybe it's something he made himself and not released yet ?

hi there, i was digging again into an old relot of mine of the budapest keleti train station @debussyman published two years ago (btw you can get it here : ) that was intended for personal use but i got reminded of an issue regarding texture : ...pic speaks for itself i think, as you can see some of the default maxis textures just won't convert to rrw. i think i was aware of that before but just found ways to avoid them, but i can't avoid them now or i'll have to throw away the whole lot. i'm not too much aware of what's in every texture packs anymore so i can't guess myself where viable replacement would lie. i just guess that the textures needed here must exist since draggable RRW does cover such maxis textures ? idk, let me know, i'm clueless rn. maybe @Tyberius06 would know about that ??

Some default rail overlays not covered by RRW ?

You can add png decals to your (properly sized) textures so it looks more grunge. You can also overimpose various textures of dirt/dirty material over your texture and tweak the transparency of it with gimp (which is free) so it's like dirt on a wall/roof. I used to do that a lot with mine, spent some time searching for textures online and also took a lot of photos outside to try make my own. I can send you some of my material and decals via DM if you want, I'm pretty sure I still have it somewhere. Basically you need to learn a bit of gimp or any other advanced image retouch software, no need to be a grand master at it, I wasn't and I'm still not, I just used the few tricks that were useful for that matter.

Fantastic !

The building itself looks pretty good and interesting on the screenshots, but the ground all around and the yard (paths and lawns) look a bit out of place and empty. If I made it, I would have got rid of it so I could rely more on props and ground textures. Also it seems that there is some LOD issues, as the building footprint seem to overlap with the props at the edge of the lot (the trees and streetlights are covered by the edge of the building, and it shouldn't). You really should show your work in progress on the forums before posting, so you would improve more easily with this kind of details. But do as you wish !

@Simmer2I really like what you did here, it inspires me a lot frankly, but i think one texture looks a little bit odd (door on the middle on the side that has the signboard), it looks a little bit too bright compared to the quite drab aspect of your brick texture. like a bright reflection would show only on this door, and not anywhere else. Also this : A chimney with several holes (so presumably serving several fireplaces) wouldn't sit just above windows and certainly not above a door that supposes the presence of a staircase right there. Small details I know, but I'm pointing these out because I could have made some of these mistakes myself back in the day. Besides that, it looks great really
