  1. Orion's Belt Modpack | Bigger Cities Made Easy!

Having said that, I think I can see where people may be going wrong. The two installers are for two different folders, but your instructions lead people to believe that they will find a folder called "For SimCityUserData". The natural assumption is that the second (and unmentioned in your doco) installer will create that.   Instructions in the Readme should say something like:     The zip folder contains two installers.     One for the SimCityData folder.     One for the SimCityUserData\Packages folder   Install by     1. Execute the Orion's Belt Modpack Installer - Part One.EXE file.     2. Click "Yes"     3. Insert your \SimCity\SimCityData folder path. It should usually be C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCityData               [Put that in.]     4. Execute the Orion's Belt Modpack Installer - Part Two.EXE file.     5. Click "Yes"     6. Insert your \SimCity\SimCityUserData\Packages folder path. It should usually be C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\SimCity\SimCityUserData\Packages               [Put that in.]   Use by     1. Launching SimCity     2. Opening up an offline city     3. Saving the game     4. Completely closing the game     5. Re-opening the game     6. Re-opening your city     7. ???     8. Profit!   Hope this helps anybody having trouble.
  2. Orion's Belt Modpack | Bigger Cities Made Easy!

Then your other option is to download and install each mod seperately. This is a mod pack, not a magic wand.
  3. Ploppable Great Works (Offline Only)

I found that when I put three Great Works in one city the first one plopped, the Airport, gained it's workers and power, so I got my 10,000 simolean bonus, but the other two that I plopped never got their workers or other requirements. So it seems that while you can plop more than one GW in a city only the first will actually develop. I get cars coming and going between the city and the airport, and between the city and my added arcology, but I'm not sure if the city has gained any benefit from the airport.   In the next city I think I will build the solar farm first. That way I will be able to tell if the city gets the benefit of all that power or not. If it does I can always share the power with the other cities, so that one at least might benefit all four cities in a roundabout way.   Whether you gain any benefit or not though, a major airport actually on the outskirts of the city, with people living around it, looks awesome.   Great Mod.
  4. Bi-level Streets Pack

OK, thanks for the amazing quick response. As I said, looks to be a great mod. I'm going to go play with it right now :-)
  5. Bi-level Streets Pack

If I'm not using Beta 2.0 (I'm not) then where do I find a ramp to join the hi level road with the ground? I have udon installed but I have no idea what to use from it or where in the menu system it might be. A picture or small video would be helpful. What is/are the names of the udon ramps precisely?   I don't want my maglev stuffed up so I do not want to go to Beta 2.0 until that is sorted, or your mod makes maglev pointless.   I can see this is a great mod for people smart enough to work out how to use it.
  6. Thanks for making a download to get all of these at once, but do they all work together at the same time? All of your screenshots only show one mod in action at a time. A screenshot showing all of them at the same time would be nice to see because then it might suggest that I have a conflict somewhere so that would be helpful to know.   If you can only use one of thee at a time then I suppose I will jjust have to choose which I want most.   Also, do we need to remove your farther away series to get this to work?
  7. Is it true that you can only use one of these city wide distribution enhancement mods at a time because they all use the same script? If so I guess we must choose which one is most important to us and just use that?
  8. I suppose the benefit is that you can start one or more garbage trucks in an area which takes a long time to be reached by garbage trucks that come from the dump. They won't reduce traffic in any way, but might get the garbage into the dump a bit faster.
  9. Basketball Court for Grade School

Could you tell us what the basketball court does when added to the school. Does it still act as a park, or perhaps as an extra classroom? Does it do anything other than occupying space? Can you make it have a function? I'd love to see this turned to some useful purpose if it doesn't already have one.
  10. (Offline Only) Police Enhancement Pack

This disappearing act is happening with all the enhancement packs in my game. Not sure if they're missing something or if it's a compatibility problem with something else. I don't use BOC so it isn't that. Hope to spot the cause with some experimentation, but if it's in the numbers of the Mods I doubt I'll spot anything. Still happy to see the mods though. Support your local Modder.
  11. Absolutely brilliant. Exactly what I wanted.
  12. Offline-Only Mod: “Park Bench”

Yep, realise that, just throwing out suggestions for the potential modders out there. I realise you're the inspiration, not the delivery guy.
  13. Did you plop the Garbage Dump before you installed the Mod? I wouldn't be surprised if it only works on Dumps plopped after the installation.
  14. Offline-Only Mod: “Park Bench”

Parks that don't take up space is a "Must Have" enhancement to the game. Great stuff. Now all we need is somebody to make a pretty bench to act as a basic nature park, and a super pretty bench to add as a tiny formal park (maybe reducing the high-wealth-enhancing effect as there are no one square formal parks in the game and we don't want to get all cheaty).   Looking forward to the day when we can get some different decorations as you suggest. I'm sure there would be some use for a trashcan that reduced land value slightly.
  15. Although limited to one dorm for the college (or so it seems to work for me), this is a nice little mod just for the dorm alone, as extra students are always handy in a city and these guys, being students, don't seem to mind a bit of grime and smog. I haven't added any wings yet, but will certainly give them a go in one of my cities. I love this kind of mod because it lets me try something different to the norm.
  16. Garbage Incinerator Ploppable on Road

I have downloaded and use all of your mods because they are nice little enhancements to the gameplay rather than feeling particularly cheaty. I'm not terribly good at city design but I do like mods that give me a little bit of flexibility to my game, such as this one. I like that your mods give me the choice to use ploppables in a different way to normal rather than just boosting the number of everything to cheaty levels.   Now that I've buttered you up I'm going to ask for some jam....   Could you do a couple of small mods to do an increase to the distance from a hospital or fire station that you could plop an ambulance or Fire engine garage? If the ambulance garages could be a couple of blocks away from the hospital (or half a map even!!!) then you could spread them out a bit and they would get to the sick or injured quicker (depending on how well you plopped them). I know they'd still have to return to the hospital with a patient, but it would mean that they had less traffic jams to get through overall. Fire engines would work even better if they could be placed further from the Fire station. One at the station and three "out in the suburbs" would be an excellent way to fight fires efficiently.   Sorry if this is the wrong place to ask for wishlist type mods. Just remember the bit about me liking your mods if the begging for mods is inappropriate.
  17. RegionFreeRoad

If you can't see any benefits from running a road off of the map and back on then it may seem worthless to you. However, having roads looping off of the map and coming back on to join other roads should have benefits in terms of lowering the traffic problems at busy junctions. It's a bypass mod for me. There is now an alternative that can give you buidlings off-map, but if you don't want to have to remove a mod and wait for a fix each time the game gets updated then this one will at least give you a small edge on a vanilla map. Be nice to the modders. There are only a few of them and if you force them away then you'll have to learn to mod yourself or go back to boring cities.
