I wonder if you guys have ever thought of how a "life without the possibility of parole" penalty looks like and what it really means? I'm sorry but I just have a habit of browsing through the weirdest, haphazardly chosen things. This time, I am hooked up on murder trials and justice system. I have seen and read about a lot of murder trials in the past few weeks. More often than not, the court sentences perps to the "life without the possibility of parole" penalty. Yesterday, I was returning from my driving lessons, passing next to recreational airport. Lots of space, great view and a monumental sunset. People were stopping and taking pictures. But why do I say this? Even after I browsed and watched all of these materials, I can still hardly imagine how devastating it is to come to that terrible realization that you will never again do anything close to the "mundane" activities I did yesterday. No sunsets, no open spaces. You will never experience even a single thing in your time. Game over dude(ss). I am sometimes terrified of dying. Of loosing my consciousness as a being, loosing the ability to interact with and experience the world around me. Now imagine being stripped of all these possibilities and privileges while still being alive. It's actually like dying twice during a single lifetime...

Appellate Division Courthouse of New York State - Building in the style of Renaissance Revival, designed by James Brown Lord and built between 1896-99 on the corner of Madison Avenue and 25th Street. Cost of the building was over $630,000 and about 25 percent of it was spent on sculptural decoration. Sixteen sculptors worked on twenty-one sculptures and sculptural groups. 1898 AD - Introduction of Winton

Welcome to the town of Winton, Arizona! The county seat of Buchanan County, home of our marshal, a doctor, and even a general store all connected by the Union Pacific! Such a lot of things thanks to our growing town of 893 people! This small town home to our colorful citizens and more is a great adventure as much as riding horse back down the valleys and mountains just east of our little settlement of home. Established in 1865, we welcome you into our little pocket of home, and come by Hickman's Saloon for yourself a drink and a piano show! We look first at the end of main street, where our little courthouse sits at the corner, home of Judge David Puckett, our judge since 1892, and around it sits little shops and a hotel at the corner of it, a height of building we say, it can't get better then this! I do say, from his time as judge, we seen only 65 hangings of them outlaws! Oh no! Looks like some of em' horses got our the corral, the men are probably to wasted back at a saloon to give a hoot! Hopefully the corral men and livery stablemen, will take care of them escapees! Here is the blacksmith and livery building now, now is it me, or is not a good idea to have a old fire casually just lite up in the middle of town? n The railroad stop of the Southern Pacific, one of the most isolated stops of the track. We see a train stop every month or so, and tickets are sold rather quickly if you want to get out of our town, then again who would want to get out of our little patch of heaven? Now, this is Hickman's and a beaut she is, she is a popular spot for the frontiersmen to stop by, and Mr. Hickman himself enjoys his little place. While there may be a shoot outs occasionally and the marshal comes and puts it down while the law and order, it's usually quiet when one of em' don't occur. Just don't tell the marshal about the sometimes illegal poker games going down, might get a bit nitpick with the bartender and playsmen! Now, for them children's education, we got ourselves a school house, state of the art I tell you what! Mr. Wilcox is the best teacher in the whole county, and he's the only one as well! Now to end it all, a picture of a horse stable by the corral for all them horses who like to escape! Now, we'll see y'all real soon in 1900, to celebrate the beginning of the 20th century! -

Lots of these 1x1 basketball half courts in the Philippines one of the lots i use in my region of metro manila or manila for short. hope you guyz like it same properties as open grass area. Hey all With this mod, you can plop basketball courts as modules for the grade school. You can plop them on the road, and they can be plopped very far away from the school. Since the basketball court was not a module before, it didn't have any module count limits. So you can plop as many basketball courts a you want! I'm going to do more mods such as this in the near future, so be on the look out! To get a full look at this mod, watch the video below: You can still plop it as a regular park by going to the park menu How to install: 1. Unzip the file after downloading. 2. Copy and paste the .package file into C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games/SimCity/SimCityData. Enjoy the mod! I am sure that there will be more to come! -

Shelby is a city in Cleveland County, NC, USA. This city is my hometown and I decided to make a series of lots and what-not to honor it. As a result of the more small and rural cities/towns I am beginning to create I felt a thirst for certain civic buildings with more flavor. Looking at the same old courthouse and city hall, I just felt like they were so scrunched in or made for close together areas. So I made this remodeled lot to appeal to the more artsy eye? Basically the lot fills a 6x6 space. Its outer square is line with tiled cement, or pavement. The outer-inner square is a grass texture. The inner most square is the pavement again for the foundation of the building. The lot is covered with flora. The back of the building has a small parking lot. and the front a fountain. I just modified the Maxis Courthouse. ------------NOTICE------------------ This now includes V2 of the Courthouse. V2 has a statue in front of the building. There are two files you can download if you wish, installation has not changed. Includes V3 no trees. (Just random planters XD) --------------Dependencies------------------------ Maxis Buildings As Props Augustus Caesar Statues Sorry no links. I recommend for the best search if you can't immediately find on STEX, is Google or the Lex(registration required) So far there are NO BROWN BOXES. Please notify me if you have this problem in your city, provide a picture. IMPORTANT NOTICE!: Since this may have the same file ID as the Maxis Courthouse you are to "move, but keep both files" for correct installation. This depends though if you want to keep the older one. Since I plan on making a center in my cities made perfectly for large, beautified buildings Ill only be using this one, but the older is key for areas with smaller buildings.- 13 Comments
