Maybe someone can help me? i have the ressources shown on my map, i tried to put buildings to gather them but it says "no ressources found" i even tried to drag the roads further because its said in the readme of the mod that the ressources spread 2x1 to the original point i dont get it^^ pls help!
  2. Hey guys, so I just started playing online. It's fun! However it kept crashing and not saving and reverting my cities back to almost brand new. I figured it was my skyepack mod that I had installed. After uninstalling it seems to be working fine, but I MISS MY ONE WAY ROADS!!!! Is there a one way dir street mod that works with online mode? Not having one way roads and roundabouts is ridiculous! For such a fancy game, it seems like OOB there are some pretty basic things missing :/ Anyways, if anyone has any tips for modding online game play let me know! Also if you have any regions you are looking for players in, lmk. Looking to build in a "realistic" region with peeps. Thanks again! Evan

  4. Hello all... I have a problem in my city with project orion mod. What if I make the region UDoN street instead the road surface of its disappeared but the street lights but still there.. So also with the building, only the physical buildings that look, but not to the parking area. What's the solution? This is the picture: Thanks

  8. Hey, I've been having issues with Simcity Offline, lately. I installed a few Mods and my cities ran just fine. I had installed Orion 3k, Akar, Udon, etc... But, sometimes my game would freeze up. Then it started getting to a point where my cities would not load up or simcity wouldn't even open. I figured I had to uninstall a few Mods maybe. No change. In fact simcity wouldn't even open up. I had to uninstall and install it again. I figured it would not be a good idea to usa that many Mods then, so I installed the ones I most wanted (Orion, Udon, Akar). But no. Still had the same problem and I went on to uninstall/install the game a couple of times in order to keep playing with Mods, but no solution was met. I decided to simply install the game again and continue playing without mods. The game started up just fine, but I still can't load my old cities. I can however start a new region Online (haven't checked if offline, yet) and play just fine. But, I'm not interested in any way or form to play online. And I'm also not interested in playing Offline without the use of Mods. I've tried installing one Mod at a time to try and figure out which is causing problems, but once I install just ONE, the game crashes or won't even load. I'm running this on a 2010 Macbook Pro. Please, I need any help. Thanks.
  9. I recently installed the UDoN mod and it looks awesome but whenever I place the one way roads, the cars seem to just ignore them and go the other way anyway... It really bugs me because I really wanted to use this mod! Please help!

  13. What is Project Akar? Akar means "root" Akar is a mod that changes the UI (User interface) by adding new menu's as well as sub-menus. It provides a user friendly as well as keep everything organized, eliminate the cluttered and unorganized items. Current version works only in Offline mode. Image one : New Menus (Subject may change in future release) Currently, Akar has 5 new menus and 36 new Sub-menus. This addition will allow modders to add their mods in its respective directory without flooding a singular menu, as for users are now pleased with the organized items rather than scouring through massive singular menu. Image two : New Sub Menus All RCI plop (Project Avalon) mod Solution. Credit to SethySquirrel for his image to be use in RCI plop New Custom Content Menu : This is where it is advisable for Modders to add new items that is not categorized in any of the in-game's directory into SimCity. Modders also able to add their own SubMenu, example such as "John Doe's Mod" or "The Simpson's Mod" or even "Gotham City Mod" etc All RCI plop wasn't crossed my mind when constructing this mod, it was intended to get Orion's regional roads, regional UDoN, UDoN, Service Roads as well as normal roads a bit organized. That is where the idea comes in, to make Akar as all around must have mod. Its not just for adding All RCI, it's also an influence for the modding community to continue create custom content and Akar has provided its place. For now, I didn't add All RCI properties in its respective directories mainly because still waiting for an advise from the original author. Will give an update on that soon. 4/7/2014 via email: All RCI plop has given a go ahead by NiclistinRedd . BoC intergration with Akar. Akar and BoC mod by Procskalone are totally two different interface. Therefore, you may choose only one. It is possible to add BoC in Akar, as above, will give an update on that soon. For Modders. How to add contents in Akar? Once you have your package ready, and wish to be added in one of Akar's menus/sub-menus. Go to your Menu2 property File and change the uiToolCategory's instanceID and replace them with any Akar's instanceID menus where you feel its a right place for your content.   14. Problem with Udon

    Hello, i am from Germany, my English is not so good. Yesterday i installed the Sim City 2013 again about Origin. Now i have see there is a Mod with bigger Maps. So i downloaded the 4 Files for Udon (105_Beta_online_UniDirectionalNetworks,OFFLINE-ONLY_UniDirectionalNetworks,RegionalStreets,RegionalUDoN) and extracted it. So then i copied the Files at SimCityData. So then i downloaded the 3 Files for 3k Maps and extracted it. So then i copied the Files at SimCityData Folder. Then i start Sim City at Orginin and go the the Single Player Modus, made a new map. Save the map and Exit Sim City. Then i started Sim City, open the Saved Game but nothing work. What i make wrong. Sorry for my bad English. LG

  16. Hi, this is my first post so forgive me if I transgress any unwritten laws. I'm new to SimCity but completely obsessed with it. I've added the amazing UDoN mod (which is working fine) and am eager to start building some spaghetti! I wondered if anyone could give me some advice about a current problem I'm having. I have a high density street as a rounded ring-road around my city, and I've put an elevated freeway directly on top of it all the way round. That's all fine - but now I want to build ramps from the street underneath up to the freeway (preferably circular). I suspect it's quite a tricky thing, but I haven't been able to get small sections of ramp (either elevated or flat on the ground) to lay down properly, let alone to join up. Can anyone point me to any videos that might show me how to do it? I know I need to experiment with angle and length and direction etc, but I feel like quite an idiot. You guys have made some amazingly gorgeous freeway systems, so I bet either I'm doing something stupid, or that I just don't know a technique. I'm really impressed with the nice community you have here on Simtropolis. I've been learning lots from you already. *wave* from New Zealand. jude

    One Way Roads and Freeways Elevated and Ground Level NEW USERS TO THE SITE BE AWARE YOU MUST BE REGISTERED AND LOGGED IN TO BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD THIS OR ANY MOD. THIS IS A REQUIREMENT I HAVE NO CONTROL OVER. Will add more detail Later on.. but welcome. Mod was Created so with new data and the use of foundation improvements built into 10.1 (YOU MUST HAVE 10.1 but in offline mode) 9/3/2014 - 1.9 Minor / Major Update from 1.8 to fix some problems with Upgrades and Downgrades that were being explored from version 1.8 with Yayie and HinataaHyuga. Those have now been completed and seem to be stable enough to update and release to the general public as a fix. 2.0 is currently in planning mode with 5 and 6 lane ave with zone and express ways for greater regional interactions. 8/20/2014 - 1.8 MAJOR Update Release to work with New Akar and Akar Roadsets along with a number of improvements and changes by members of the SUGC. Icon and Graphic Improvements by Ban, Script and Upgrade Improvements by Yayie and HinataaHyuga with Regional Additions which in Akar now have a new menu structure to make the Regional Aspects easier to understand. 8/22/2014 - 1.9 is in the works to fix some bugs and issues. Reported problems due to Bi-Level Mod by max due to using an UDON path to create his. He is working on a fix. Upgrade and downgrade side effects being worked on introduced in 1.8. 5 and 6 lane roads are being looked at to introduce into version 2.0 . Instructions are simple drop it into the same folder as it was originally listed and REMOVE the old one. I keep all my versions of updates online and in the download button so you may go back if you have issues that you find a little overwhelming due to new directions and changes being looked at. However we are on top of them as a group and working to make all of them play nice with each other which was the whole reason for Akar and the SUGC team being formed to begin with. 8/14/2014 - 1.7 was uploaded and all other files tested ok even though someone reported issues. Today 7/7/2014 - Version 1.6 has incorporated our new Icons and Images into our mod to make the game easier and more similar to the unification of graphics and style to be that of Maxis and the Original games look and feel. Thank you Banwashere (Ban) for the hard work and dedication for becoming our community artist and champion of our new efforts in creating an identity as our graphic artist and champion of our new identity and graphic art on this subject and with all our mods that have been release and our future releases to the community. These will be added to Akar and each individual mod as are required and represent the first update of many in a series that will unify mods and our interfaces. We are very happy to have him on board and the quality that his talents will bring to our mod community and in general to our future developments. Both Regional and UDONS updated to 1.6 for that specific update. Today 6/23/2014 - Version 1.5 Uploaded Online Beta Testing edition. (May Cause Roll Backs At 20 Minute Points) Uncertain need more testing have at it. ( DO NOT USE WITH EXTENDED BOUNDARY OR ALL RCI PLOP AT THIS TIME IT WILL ROLLBACK IF YOU DO). CoTs may be required EP to prevent Roll Backs .. do not yet know for certain. Today 5/17/204 we have been listening and watching so many people so there have been reports of issues and odd behavior which we have now been able to contribute to some ODD corruption of the actual installation unfortunately. Some crashes and issues have and are not the mod but brought out by the mod itself. Uninstalling mods one at a time can temp solve the issue however the ultimate fix was installing a clean copy of the game unfortunately... I would put the percentage at less than .5% of the installed base have reported this drastic step but wished to be as honest as possible with you incase you have any issues. OMG there is so much that needs to be said and needs to be given out on this mod and its features but MOST of the features speak for themselves.. THERE ARE TRICKS to use Connections can be tricky. HOWEVER .. I NEED TO THANK ALOT OF PEOPLE LIKE IT OR NOT OR THIS WOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE.. since that can't happen in the normal way THANK YOU EVERYONE WHOM HELPED MAKE THIS HAPPEN. 10.1 made it possible by adding some foundations that have and were needed to even allow ONE WAY possible. SO THANK YOU MAXIS and UPDATE TEAMS for adding the core code that make it possible to do this type of mod and make it a reality that took 6 months. FEW will every realize how much it took or what went on onto make this happen. AS I have already been reminded there are many many details I need to post on use to help you all and I will over this weekend. THIS IS AN OFFLINE ONLY MOD DO NOT USE ONLINE --------------------------------------- CREATIVITY is key.. how you build and what order you build things is what matters There are some aspects to how you use the direction of drawing as the direction of the one way. Make sure you build ELEVATED prior to Transitions or it will not connect but practice makes perfect 10.1 added new paths to the game that allowed this to be possible. As mentioned by Niclistin on Reddit one of the mod testers like buggi and yuttho.. there are ALOT of aspects to this mod that take time to use and understand but the complexity is beyond imagination .. REALISTIC is not the word for it. 2 Lane Roundabout 4 Lane Roundabout 2 Lane, Low Density One Way Street 4 Lane, Medium Density One Way Street 4 Lane, High Density One Way Road 1 Lane Freeway Ramp 1 Lange Ground to Elevated Freeway Ramp 1 Lane Elevated Freeway Ramp 2 Lane Freeway Ramp 2 Lane Ground to Elevated Freeway Ramp 2 Lane Elevated Freeway Ramp 2 Lane Freeway 2 Lane Ground to Elevated Freeway 2 Lane Elevated Freeway 4 Lange Freeway 4 Lane Ground to Elevated Freeway 4 Lane Elevated Freeway If you DO NOT use a roundabout but use a 2 or 4 lane ELEVATED you can manually make an Elevated ONE WAY and actually intersect with it (trick) TIP and Suggestions: Camera Angle, Angle of Road draw and stretching out the draw before going to desired position can help you draw things the way you wish.. going big and back to smaller size in circles and turns. Going UP with M or DOWN with N can help connectors. Remember to use your transitions sometimes its just a matter of drawing it a longer distance so the engine thinks its smother than it really is.
