  1. Show us your Riverside, Lakeside, or Oceanside

Thank you very much! Blue Frame = Red Frame =
  2. SC4 and SweetFX

I'm just looking through the readme now and it says that it should be possible with virtually any game. I use it for Skyrim and it is great. I'm not sure what directx version Simcity4 is though? It mentions directx wrappers, that I guess can "trick" the game into being dx9. Which files did you put into your directory? I'll try it in a bit and report back. Edit: literally just read this and it says Simcity4 is dx7 compatible, so I guess you need to find a wrapper to get the game from dx7 to dx9. I know ENB has one so I'll check there first aaaaand it's pretty much impossible to find a dx7 to dx9 wrapper, it seems. lame.
  3. It has been a while...

great entry! Where do you get those reflective posts by the road in your last pic?   as a viewer, i much prefer CJ's in this blog format, as opposed to in the forum. it makes it much easier for new readers to go back on old entries and shorter loading times as well, especially if there are two (olr more) entries on the same page in the forum.
  4. Show us your Region!

It actually has a "Save Image" function, which takes a picture of the Region View displayed and saves you any tedious and horrendously time consuming cropping.
  5. SC4 Memes

    good lord no
  6. Tree controllers?

To fill flat land with AERDEN you need to ensure you have the Coast-Extended Controller installed in your plugins folder. You can use the controllers interchangeably, but you can't have two in your plugins folder at once - so you can only have the Coast controller in your plugins, but it is possible to switch that out for the Inland or River controller if you are switching to different elevations, and still keep the trees you have placed with the Coast controller
  7. Small Town #1

this is amazing!!! one of my favourite CJs, I love that first image
  8. Clean Air Act Ordinance, Raise the Education Level in your city - so place more schools, libraries etc and wait a few in game years for things to change. I usually just raise the taxes for Dirty Industry when I want I-M and I-HT, I'm not sure why you're unwilling to do that, but that's something else. Build more Dirty Industry around your region as well, that helps to satisfy some of the demand also It's more about raising demand for other types of industry than diminishing the demand for I-D. So if you make conditions better for whatever kind of industry you're looking for, rather than dirty, then those will grow instead.

  20. Show us your Parks!

Here's a smallish city park. Wondering if I may have overdone it with the flora but w/ever
  21. thanks! I'll try the ditches and the repository, and if I still have no demand then, I'll go with the radical ordinance
  22. Show us your Small Towns

Really nice mosaic My only critique would be the Maxis C buildings in the town. It would have been really nice to see some unique town like buildings, maybe even a couple small W2W buildings. Just found these the other day that give a good example of what I'm speaking of. Little French Bakery The Eastern Delight Small Store oh thank you so much! I spent so long demolishing Sim Spa & Beauty before I finally gave up and let it take over hahaI've found it surprisingly difficult to come across low density CS$$
  23. Welcome & History of King's Bend

i absolutely loooooove the way your city looks, can't wait to see more! if i may offer some critique, though, I'd turn down the lens flare and white balance of your image, it becomes a bit distracting imo
