  1. Post Modding Requests Here

A universal demand cap patch created by the NAM Team is currently being studied to solve the RHW problem without interfering with CAM. There is an internal alpha version that is being tested on the SC4E Discord server. Many of these properties depend on the algorithms contained in New_Properties.xml, which in turn depend on fictitious parameters calculated by a main algorithm that depends on the type of buildings, lot sizes, and Filling Degree, which is a fictitious property created by the BSC Team. Filling Degree refers to how much space a building occupies in its LOD box. The more the empty space decreases, the more the Filling Degree increases. Consider that version 1.0 of New_Properties.xml created by the BSC Team had civic service algorithms that generated properties with values halved by Maxis, so I had to quadruple some constants to get twice the Maxis properties and the increased radius, which is one of the features most requested by the community. New_Properties.xml contains the algorithms that calculate the properties relating to industrial, commercial, and residential buildings. The calculated values are then entered in the Capacity Satisfied property together with the IID code of the property that must be satisfied. In addition to these algorithms, there are internal algorithms in PIM-X that are hardcoded, but if you are good with Python, you can reverse engineer PIM-X to discover additional secret algorithms.
  2. Block Maxis RCI Lots

If you use CAM, this is normal since version 2.1.1 contains commercial lots based on Maxis Landmark. You must view the CAM_Building.dat file in the CAM Core File and block the additional commercial buildings.
  3. Jonica Modpack

This download is specifically for SC4Pac users, so if you are still using the manual method, do not download the modpack. Furthermore, the JSON file can only be read with SC4Pac and Notepad if you want to see the list of mods without SC4Pac, but there are no links, so tracking down the mods can be difficult. Many people have started migrating to the SC4Pac format despite the lack of many mods because it is a versatile tool. It takes time, but it is essentially already a useful tool. It is too early to talk about file size, but it is already assumed that downloading a modpack requires GB of free memory. There are modpacks that reach 20 GB, so you can deduce that on average you need 10 GB of free memory to download a modpack.
  4. Jonica Modpack

This is a pilot mod, as it is the first time ever that a modpack has been released, so we are playing around with it a bit. Right now, it is a mod that falls into a gray area between the various rules of Simtropolis, SC4Evermore, and r/simcity4, so some minor changes need to be made. Anyway, thanks for the feedback. I just updated the description, adding the main variants.
  5. Performance Plugin Issues in SimCity 4

Be sure to remove any launch parameters. Follow this tutorial.
  6. To uninstall the mods, you must delete the contents of the Plugins folder (Documents/SimCity4/Plugins). Follow this tutorial. I also recommend installing mods using SC4Pac.
  7. Colossus Addon Mod - Ordinances

Clenaitols have now been superseded by SC4Pac and are therefore being phased out. This is a gradual transition.
  8. Post Modding Requests Here

Excellent guide. If you're interested, I can include it in the CAM Manual, which is becoming a kind of universal resource for SC4 modding.
  9. Colossus Addon Mod - Casino Specialization

Duplicate files have been removed. For documentation, see Colossus Addon Mod - Manuals.
  10. Submenus DLL

We will make this correction in the next update of BSC Park.
  11. SC4 System Integration Module (SIM)

That file is obsolete, so it will be completely removed in a few updated versions. Therefore, you can ignore the problem.
  12. Colossus Addon Mod - CAM Controller

This is a problem with the CAM Core File and not with the CAM Controller, so the report should be made in the right place. Update the CAM Core File, as this problem has just been resolved.
  13. NAM General Support

Have you installed the Submenu DLLs?
  14. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Advanced Water Management has the following submenus Fresh Water Pump - (SB: 0xE75D823A - OG: 0x090F367A) Aquifer Water Tower - (SB: 0xD547C3D3 - OG: 0x04D53CEE) Aquifer Water Pump - (SB: 0xD547C3D3 - OG: 0x1E50150D) Large Aquifer Pump - (SB: 0xD547C3D3 - OG: 0x714F13AC) Desalination Plant - (SB: 0x2CBE97D3 - OG: 0xFAD01ECF) Treatment Plant - (SB: 0x231186A6 - OG: 0x16A71A32) Sewage Sanitizer - (SB: 0x8E5B2F9C - OG: 0x280C60E3) Auxiliary water - (NULL) They are all confirmed except for Aquifer Water Tower, which will most likely have its own specific submenu within the Aquifer submenu and Auxiliary Water submenu. For now, there is only the submenu, but I still need to fix it. In the future, AWM will undergo AMPS-style treatment, but I still need to evaluate things.
  15. Can't find it?... Ask here!

If you have installed CAM 3.0, you will automatically get those submenu icons. There is only one item in the Desalinator menu because it is a newly introduced feature and requires the mods to be updated.
  16. Help running SC4 on Windows 11

You need to edit ReShade.ini, especially the KeyOverlay options, by entering a number that corresponds to a key on the keyboard. I recommend using (KeyOverlay=190,0,0,0), which allows you to use the period button as a key to open ReShade. I also recommend modifying KeyScreenshot if you don't want Reshade to interfere with Windows' screenshot functionality. I also recommend using SC4Pac to install the mods.
  17. Help running SC4 on Windows 11

It is a game from 2003 where the computer technology is different from today's, so you have to configure the game to make it work best. Follow this tutorial
  18. I-R Fix

IRM is a completely different mod from what this mod does, so yes. You need to download this mod if you want to fix the agriculture bug.
  19. NAM is necessary because Maxis' traffic simulation sucks. If you don't want to install Full NAM, you can use NAM Lite, which contains only the bare minimum. CAM is just a big dependency for other mods and modifies the RCI simulation, so if you don't install CAMeLot, you'll be stuck in the Maxis stages (8) and won't be able to use the added CAM stages. CAM List - Index of CAM mods is a list of CAM-compatible mods that also includes CAMeLots, but it is a little out of date as new lots have been added due to the SC4E/LEX restoration. Census repository facility is a tool that allows you to analyze the population of the city, including commercial and industrial jobs, etc. This mod is best suited for advanced users who are familiar with the RCI basics of the game. The same applies to CAM, which is a very advanced mod that requires basic knowledge of RCI simulation. In this case, I recommend using CAM - SPAM Controller, which is closer to the Maxis simulation, but at least you have improved agriculture.

Ulisse Wolf - Building Style: Art Deco This mod allows you to add the style of Art Deco buildings Style of buildings based exclusively on Art Deco architecture (1910 - 1950) Please note that this pack is expected to receive updates in the near future. Do not redistribute without asking first, mostly as doing so would complicate efforts to properly maintain, update, and provide technical support for the pack. Installation This package is a simple .zip file. Just extract the Ulisse Wolf folder to your My Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins directory (or equivalent, if you have a custom Plugins folder location). It is highly recommended to run the cleanitol with the installer and remove any previous versions from your plugins. Optionally in the ~Documents folder in the main ZIP you can find a collective/master and by using either the newer nos.17's SC4 Cleanitol or the older BSC Cleanitol tool you can search and remove old and outdated versions of these files. DLL Dependencies In order for the contents of this package to display correctly by taking advantage of the new DLL Mods requires the complete installation of the following dependencies(the below listed dependencies are covering a full install; for dependencies for individual collections see the list of contents secion): Resource Loading Hooks DLL - You need it to get the exempalr patching working. Compatible only with the digital version (1.1.641) of SimCity 4 (Microsfot Windows and Linux only). Allow More Building Styles - You need it to get the building style working. Special Thanks Webmaster & administration staff at SC4Evermore & Simtropolis (STEX). And possibly others who may not have been mentioned. If your name has been forgotten or you're not on the list, then drop us a line, as it has been difficult to keep track of anyone/everyone that may of helped somewhere along the lines. And to the community itself, we would also like to thank you for your support, making mods such as this possible too. We're still at it after 20 years thanks to you! And last but not least, a thanks for the Maxis individuals too, for the [paid] work that they did. ;-)
  21. If you are using the original SPAM version, you should not use this version, as it does not include the RCI and Maxis Farm exemplars.
  22. Welcome to the Colossus Addon Mod - Development and Support Please post your questions concerning issues with or the usage of the newest version of the Colossus Addon Mod (CAM) and its features here. The newest version of the Colossus Addon Mod (CAM 3.0), is now available on the STEX and the SC4E. For additional information or to ask questions about new features, check out the CAM 3.0 topic here. It should be noted that the only supported installation procedure is SC4Pac, which allows you to automatically install components and perform updates and maintenance automatically. It should be noted that any previous CAM installation should be completely removed from the game's Plugins folders before installing any new CAM version. This does not occur during the installation process but needs to be done manually. The threads are listed below.
  23. CAM Specialization: Casino - Development and Support CAM Specialization: Casino is a new component that allows you to manage a city based on tourism and gambling. In this thread, you can receive support for the mod and learn about recent developments. You can also request to have your casino included in the narrative story. In order to add your casino, you must enter the mod link and indicate the unlock conditions for the casino so that I can proceed with adding your casino to the LUA code. Adding additional information such as the name of the company that runs the casino, whether the casino is controlled by the mafia, etc., is useful information that allows you to further characterize your casino in the narrative. Mod link https://www.sc4evermore.com/index.php/downloads/download/45-colossus-addon-mod-CAM/416-colossus-addon-mod-casino-specialization KNOWN ISSUES The narrative story of the expansion pack is incomplete due to the LEX restoration. There will be further updates when the LEX content is restored. Due to a bug in the Lua Extensions DLL (most likely), the reward system and therefore the narrative story cannot be completed. In this case, we recommend using the cheat “you don't deserve it” or modifying the Legalize Gambling Ordinance Upgrade ini file to increase the revenue from the gambling ordinance.
