  3. I won't use it because I don't build futuristic cites, but I think this is brilliant idea!
  4. Can't find it?... Ask here!

Hi, I'm looking for a dependence file for Vanderaap's Pierson building. I know that there's no info about any dependences attached to this file but still all I get is huge brown box, so I must miss something important. In addition, it look's like Vanderaap is no longer active member so I can't ask him about it. If you guys have any ideas what to do I'd be grateful.
  5. MTT9's attempt at BAT

Keep up great work! The first one reminds me of old Kosmos cinema from my Szczecin, Poland because of this mosaic:
  6. Only two pics to show how time flies. The thing you have to know is that my cites are almost 100% growable. I plop only civics and some diagonals. The other buildings are growing pretty much on their own. That's the coolest thing about the game and it makes city a real organism that pulsate and breathe. It's not perfect but it feels like it's my own real city. Several simyears later: . . . . . Domino Square is now one of the most favourite places in the city. Blue skyscraper on the right is the first skyscraper ever build in the city. It belongs to National Insurance Company.
  7. I've been playing SC4 for 2 years, just found out that I don't have BSC Essentials installed. Been 100% sure I have it.

  8. Question to Batters: Why you don't create in-game menus with stats? I need 'make a history' boxes so badly...

  9. Ask a forumer anything...

Yup, on Nelly Furtado show, but it was only because I was part of organising team;) What song is your favourite right now?

You're not dumb. You're just not used to the tools yet. Practice makes perfect! ;)

  11. Thank you! ---- Edit: If anyone's interested, it looks like it works. These buildings are not growing anymore.
  12. Ok, sounds promising. One more question(for now;)): what's " the reader"? It's supposed to open .dat file, I believe, but what's the name of it?
  13. Hello, I'd like to ask if there's any chance to create mod that blocks certain buildings from growing? I mean these 3, I hate them with passion;)
  14. BAT Request Thread

Hello everybody, I have a big challenge for you, BATters;) Brand new, controversial Philharmonic House from Szczecin, Poland: photos by pioter76 from polish Skyscraper City As you can see, it's still under construction, but it should be done in 2014. It's criticised by Szczeciners for being too modern and looking like warehouse(does it?). Why this would be beneficial for the game or community: Just look at this;) This is truly unique structure that could easily become a famous landmark in your city. This could work as philharmonic, opera or any other cultural building. Nightlighting should give even more class and "wow factor". More info and photos: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1527149&highlight=szczecin
  15. SIRs Viennese BATs

^^^^ Those "dirty" library walls look a bit like made of corten, I think it fits modern, rich city centre. Great work, anyway!
