TL-Paeng Monument Park Modular Set Here is my respectful relot of one of Paeng’s iconic parks sets, Monument Park, which was published in Parks 205 Revisited. I adore Paeng’s parks, but when I began to play with nightlights, I realized to my utter dismay that they were not lit, or so little as to be very dark at night. It’s one of the main reasons I began learning to lot : as a Mayor, I want my peeps to feel safe in my parks and plazas ! I changed very little, apart from the lights and a 3x1 Park Administration piece redone as a 3x2. I tried to keep the pieces as relatively greenery-free as the originals, so that you can MMP them to our heart’s content (they’re more welcoming to MMPs, thanks to MGB Override — see picture of a test MMP’d Monument Park). I gave them new icons and they are SPOTted for directions (easier plopping). Finally, I tried to group them so that they will show up in the Park Menu in a logical order (Basics, Ends, Addons, Wides) — depending, of course, of each player’s plugins. As some players, like me, may not want the lots to be seasonal, (Paeng used Porkie Trees), I added my Evergreen version of those trees to the deps so as to give you the option. If you want the seasonals, just chuck that dep, or leave it anywhere in your folder ; as long as it does not load last, the trees will stay seasonal. And do visit Paeng’s excellent content. N. B. : This park’s path texture is compatible with some of the parks of Tariel’s Big Modular Parks & Paths Project uploaded a while back , like TL-Holly Hocks Parks & Paths Set and TL-Gazbo Modular Parks & Paths Set (there are transition pieces for them). Many thanks to my technical gurus, Rsc204, Kosc and Dreadnought. And especially Rivit, who lighted my SC4world and is always generously ready to help. And the guys and gals on the forums (Twalsh, Tyberius06, Matias93, Fantozzi, Catty-cb, Corinamarie…). We need help when we begin peeking under the hood of SC4. That the community is always there for us noobies is very comforting. _______________ Dependencies (mostly my usual suspects) : BSC BatProps Matttb325 vol.2 BSC MEGA Props CP vol.1 BSC MEGAProps D66 vol.2 BSC_MEGAProps MJB vol1 BSC_MEGAProps MJB vol2 BSC MEGAProps SG vol.1 MJB TGN for Parks205 Override, (only that folder is needed) in MGB TGN for Gobias Sudden Valley Terrain Mod Murimk Park Props (Murimk_Park_props_1_small.dat) Paeng_Resource_Parks205 Paeng_TexturePack_v104.dat PEG-SPAM Super Resource Pack (for PEG-SPAM_Crops-01_RESOURCE_b200.dat & PEG-SPAM_RESOURCE-01_b200.dat) PorkieProps-vol.1.dat PorkieProps-vol.2.dat rfy_warehouse_props.dat (beginning of the list) SPOT_v-rc 100.dat Tamorr_Family_Props V210.dat Tariel Trees Evergreen [must load after BSC MegaProps CP vol.1] ; you only need Porkie Trees Evergreen Tariel-Rivit’s Essentials [must load after the NAM] wmp_Power_Props, in WMP Power Lots N.B. : Mac Players may need merged. dat (included). ___________________ General warnings : (1) This is for SC4 Rush Hour. (2) I play with NAM36, RRW-EU selection (it shouldn’t interfere here, but you never know !) (3) I also play with Twrecks Maxis HD Tree Replacement (if you don’t use it, your trees might look a bit different [not the trees in this park!] ; perhaps you should use it… Check the few Girafe trees you need as deps for it, though) (4) I play Nights. Depending on your using or not a Light Replacement Mod, the lighting will be slightly different, but There Will Be Light. If you dont want it, you can either tweak my lights in the Lot Editor or take them out of my Essentials folder dep. (5) I like trees. I make intensive use of trees. Especially Girafe tree collection on the LEX ; so here’s the link, once for all ; just follow it into the woods, when indicated.

This Paeng's SandStone Parks (beta) was made by Paeng and originally was uploaded as a forum attachment onto the PLEX and hasn't been available according to my best knowledge. Disclaimer on BETA: As I see, he was about to make and release with its official release a few "raised/slope wall" parks too (you can find an expanded image into the Documentation Folder of this upload OR you can check the 2nd picture above, which shows you how they would've been look like, and an explanation about his dissatisfaction with the lots). I think (my personal opinion), he actually cancelled the release of these lots, because you can find all the 1x1 lots to be made as functional PED MALLs under the release Paeng's PedMall Parks. Please note with the permission of the Simtropolis Staff Members (Cori & Cyclone Boom) and Catty-CB, this file has been uploaded on behalf of Paeng. It was not available anymore due to the unfortunate demise of SimPeg. All the works in this download were created by Paeng. Installation: Unzip the whole bundle, or COPY the "Paeng" folder from the *.zip into your plugin folder. You don't need to keep the "Documentation" folder. To uninstall, bulldoze any instance of this lot in your city, then remove the file(s) from your Plugins. LIST OF ITEMS: * 13 various 1x1 fillers, small parks and walkways (see the attached picture) * 1 2x2 medium plaza park * 1 3x3 large plaza park ----------------------------- Dependencies ----------------------------- * PorkieProps-Vol1.dat * PorkieProps-Vol2.dat * BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01 * BSC Textures Vol 01 * PEG MTP SUPER PACK Optional: * PEG Red Brick Facelift Mod * SFBT-Essentials (orientation-arrows while plopping) needed file: SFBT_ArkenbergeJoe_Props.dat (188 Kb) IMPORTANT NOTICE: This upload/the zip file DOES NOT contain the "raised/slope wall" parks (what you can see on the 2nd picture), since they've never been attached to this zip by Paeng. Have fun and enjoy! - Tyberius06

Details from the original readme made by Paeng with updated links: ============================================================ Paeng's Urban Recreational Canals ============================================================ A series of shallow canals to create riverwalks or promenades with low sidings for more urban and recreational purposes, to mix with Peg's Ponds and Streams. ------------------------------------------------------------ LIST OF ITEMS ------------------------------------------------------------ * 5 pcs. Walls and Extenders * 4 pcs. Promenade * 4 pcs. Narrow (single width) Canals * 3 pcs. Xtras (Addons) More Addons are planned for the future... ------------------------------------------------------------ DEPENDENCIES ------------------------------------------------------------ * JS Seawalls V3 * PEG Pond Kit II - Deluxe Edition -----------> (transparent patch) * PEG StreamKit-Deluxe Edition * The Terrain Kit (7in1) * Murimk Props Vol02 v2.01 (Park Props) * SG 01 Megapack * Porkie Props Vol 01 * SHK Parking Pack * SPOT ------------------------------------------------------------ DEVELOPER NOTES ------------------------------------------------------------ Experiment with the various sub-sets - all pieces can be mixed freely. Some pieces will need a bit of MMP-treatment to cover up the occasional 'neuralgic' spot. When plopping MMPs take care not to overdo it, otherwise the canal pieces will just "disappear" ;-) It is recommended to use this set together with the Free Waters Mod. The pieces are set with default white bases and are compatible with my Sandstone Sidewalk Mod. All needed info is given via the in-game menu. You find all items at or near the end of the 'Parks' menu with custom icons. ------------------------------------------------------------ INSTALLATION ------------------------------------------------------------ Unzip the whole bundle, or COPY the "Paeng" folder from the *.zip into your plugin folder. You don't need to keep the "Documentation" folder. To uninstall, bulldoze any instance of this lot in your city, then remove the file(s) from your Plugins. ------------------------------------------------------------ CREDITS ------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks to the folks at simpeg.com for valuable feedback! :-) Thanks to Murimk for some additional props. Uploaded on behalf of Paeng by Tyberius with Cori's and Catty-CB's permission. ------------------------------------------------------------ SUPPORT ------------------------------------------------------------ There is a very limited support for these files since the original creator is no longer an active developer and the original SIMPeg site is no longer available as well. You can ask for support in the PLEX Support Topic at Simtropolis. Should you need support for these items please visit the Paeng Production Forum /forums/topic/68471-plex-on-the-stex-community-support/forum/index.php?topic=10716.0 Enjoy!

A national memorial to the murdered European Sinti and Roma. The Memorial by artist Dani Karavan consists of a black marble well with a retractable stele on which a fresh flower is placed daily. Panels around the site present information on the persecution of this minority under the National Socialist regime of terror. Find it in your Parks menu. Version I Plain 2x2 lot without the stepping stones (add them yourself). No dependencies Version II Full 4x4 lot with the stepping stones. Here is a series of playgrounds and related structures that will give you the means to set up nice areas for our kids inside parks, suburbia and residential areas. All together there are 9 lots of various sizes and layouts. You can use them standalone or in combination with the (fully compatible) Parks205 collection. DEPENDENCIES * MAS71 PropPack Vol03 If you are using the Parks205 you're all set. If you don't, you need these additional items for the playgrounds: * Paeng Texture Pack v103 * Murimk Props Vol. 02 (Parks and Fences) * SG 01 Megapack DEVELOPER NOTES All playgrounds give the normal little perks you'd expect from park lots. They are located in the Parks menu with custom icons. See the ingame menu for more infos. INSTALLATION Put the whole bundle into "(My )Documents/Plugins". Modular Cemetery and Park Walls 205 Parks 205 AddOn Vol02 This AddOn brings you two small modular sets - Park Walls and Cemetery, both designed to fit seamless into the Parks205 series. They'll help to transition a typical open park into a more closed and quiet cemetery and back to a free flowing park. Each set contains 7 pieces, all of them 1x1, with various configurations of walls, gates, tombstones, sarks and crypts, some of them with typical path configurations to connect them easily to the rest of the Parks205 series. DEPENDENCY Parks 205 DEVELOPER NOTES All wall- and cemetery items are neutral, no special effects or benefits. You find them in the Parks menu sorted in near the SIDINGS205, with custom icons. Note that the AddOn contains one further item - an optional replacement for the default cemeteries (all 3 stages). The design is the same like one of the Cemetery205 Fillers, but with the functionality of the default cemetary. So once you are advised that "Your Sims demand a cemetery", you can just bulldoze one of the fillers in your cemetery-layout and plop the replacement tile instead. That way you get the default perks but don't need to change your carefully planned layout. If you'd rather use the default items (which are kinda large 5x5 lots, and not the prettiest either), you can just remove the cemetery_replacements.dat from the AddOn. SUPPORT Should you need support or want to see more images for these items please visit the PLEX on the STEX - Community Support Online Documentation (no longer available) and/or the Support Thread (no longer available) * A complete and updated catalog of all PARKS 205 items (PDF) is available in the documentation thread. Enjoy!

This park system combines three updated versions of previous park sets - Monument Park, Urban Gardens and White Sands Park. Mainly I wanted to create the possibility to lay out a good variety of parks, paths and gardens for any type of city - particularly with options for different path textures to be used on the same city tile. You can now have three very distinct park-styles in your city, each with its own character (layout, props, textures) - and you can mix and mingle them any which way you please... and even exchange or unify textures as you desire. This will enable you to use the paths, prefab parks, ends, transitions, addons and extensions of all three park sets in one glorious citywide park system. OVERVIEW * Three complete parksystems, each with a unique style, textures, props and individual pieces * A host of possible configurations - Narrow, Wide, Diagonal, Sweeping Curves, Ends, prefab Parks and more * New park 'Sidings' for realistic-looking transitions to your roads and avenues * Transitions between textures and/or sidewalks that can adapt to your preferred sidewalk textures and mods * The ability to exchange or unify the base textures on the fly to suit your taste * The option to mix and mingle sections of all three sets any which way you want * All items designed to create extended lawns to be enhanced with MMP flora of your choice * All items with consistent properties, descriptions and plop helpers, tightly arranged in your menus * A host of overlay textures and custom props to make your own matching lots * Peace of mind that future sets and addons will be made to match all of the above Please note that there is a more in-depth Online Documentation with lots of additional info and many images available as well. DEPENDENCIES * Paeng Texture Pack v103 (updated version Sep 2011!) * Murimk Props 02, v201 (updated version Sep 2011!) * BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01 * BSCBATPropsMattb325 Vol02 * BSC MEGA Props - MJB Vol02 * BSC MEGA Props - swi21 Vol01 * BSC MEGA Props - D66 Vol02 * Porkie Props Vol 01 and Vol 02 * SPOT (Orientation Helpers) DEVELOPER NOTES The aim of this overhaul is to 'streamline' the park packs as far as dependencies, general layout and possible variations are concerned. The layout and appearance of the sets have been maintained as much as possible. Most of the pieces - including the new 'Sidings' - are layed out to give you nice spaces of well-groomed lawn that you can plant with your own choice of flora - bushes, shrubs, flowers and trees from your personal MMP collections. If you don't want to use any of the sidings, you can safely delete the respective subfile(s). If you want to exchange or unify any of the base textures, make sure to carefully read the separate instructions included with the 'Texture Changer 205' module (included, but packed separately). SUPPORT Should you need support for these items please visit the Online Documentation and/or the Support Thread THANK YOU Special thanks go to the NightOwls Murimk and Shokthrpy for creating special custom props, adding to the unique appearance and feeling of these parks. Thanks also to Krio - his Kiosks continue to serve all park-visiting Sims :-) CREDITS for RESOURCE FILE This is a community effort with many friends chipping in - Thanks for that again! BAT - custom 'Park Props' by Murimk & Shokthrpy BAT - 'Kiosks' by Krio All Textures - by Paeng All parts are included with their creator's kind permission. You may use them for your own lots, but please do not include them in your upload. Kindly point to this pack as a dependency. Enjoy! Mod edit 29th April 2017 - Fixed formatting + dependency links -Cori edit: Fixed one of the fixes that wasn't quite fixed.

    Version 1.0

The old castle has finally been renovated and serves now as a museum to boost the education or as a plain landmark to boost the Mayour's ego... ahm... rating. It comes together with a highly variable set of items to build park pathways and small pocket parks, or for walkways between wealthy residential compounds - all very attractive with lots of flowers and decor appealing to residents and tourists like. LIST OF ITEMS 5x3 Small Castle (Museum and Landmark versions) 2x2 Chess Plaza 1x1 Wide Paths (straight, curve, tee, cross) 1x1 Narrow Paths (straight, curve, tee, cross, transition) 1x1 Wide Paths with Lattice Wall (straight) 1x1 Ends and Fillers (variety) See the Castle Walk 'in action' in my CJ DEPENDENCIES BSC MEGA Props - MJB Vol01 Paeng Textures Vol104 Murimk Props Vol02 BSC MEGA Props SG Vol 01 PORKIE PROPS VOL1 Longfellow_Castle.zip (only for LM / Museum) DEVELOPER NOTES You can use this set to build park pathways and small pocket parks, or for walkways between residential compounds, e.g. open spaces between mid- or highrise buildings. The sections with higher lattice fences provide more privacy, e.g. along RES$$$. Try and alternate sections with and without lamps for better variation. Some items provide landmark benefits, but mostly they are neutral and easy to maintain. Find more specs and stats in the in-game menu. All items are at or near the end of the 'Landmarks' menu, except the Museum which is of course in the 'Civics | Education' menu, all with custom icons. INSTALLATION Just drop the whole bundle in your Plugins. You may also opt to install only certain items - remove the ones you do not wish to use. To un-install remove the complete folder from your Plugins. CREDITS Lotting and Modding: Paeng SUPPORT Should you need support for these items please visit the Paeng Production Forum Enjoy! 10. Paeng's Pocket Plazas

    Version 1.01

    8,613 Downloads

Since there is a limited number of pleasant-looking 1x2 and 2x2 'natural' plazas for use between or at the end of a row of residential or commercial towers, here is a set to fill just that gap. LIST OF ITEMS * 7 pcs. 2x2 with varying layouts * 7 pcs. 2x1 with varying layouts DEPENDENCIES * BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01 * Porkie Props Vol01 * Murimk Props Vol02 * Paeng Texture Pack v102 DEVELOPER NOTES The items come with default base textures and are compatible with my Sandstone Mod (see additional screenshots below). Mix and match them with other park- or path systems and pedmalls. All values similar to the default small and medium plazas. Located at or near the end of the 'Parks' menu. All lots are in separate files so you can remove any item you do not wish to use. Included in the DL are images that will help you to identify individual items. 11. Paeng's PedMall Parks

    Version 1.0

    11,736 Downloads

Yes, we finally can! What?! Yes, after all these years it is now possible to have nice PedMalls with all kinds of motifs, making them in effect regular little 1x1 parks that can be put together to form larger parks or alleys or plazas or such - all with full pedmall functionality... and teeming with life! With that in mind you can now really plan for extended car(e)free pedestrian malls and shopping miles that are more than vast, empty and cold looking blobs of concrete (or "marble")... For this purpose I included 20 different 'PedMall Parks' for you to enjoy. CAUTION! This is not your average 'Drop'n'Plop' Mod! You MUST read the ReadMe, all the way to the end! Otherwise your CPU will melt down, your RAM will delapidate and your Monitor will catch the Pixel-Error-Pox! I won't reprint the whole ReadMe in this description - the installation instructions need to be read in peace and quiet. So here and now just a quick overview... DEPENDENCIES * NAM (I presume you're up-to-date with that * PedMall NAM Facelift Mod (! More info on this link in the ReadMe !) * SG Vol 01 Megapack * Porkie Props Vol01 and Vol02 USING THE PEDMALLS IN THE GAME The new lots are all under the FIRST pedmall icon (the white one with that awful single centered lamp post). The specialty here: Plop a piece, move the mouse away and back again, click - a new piece will plop (so no need to bulldoze, just always move the mouse out and back in)... that way you can cycle through all the attached PedMall Parks in an endless loop. Be aware though that they plop totally random, so you need a little bit of patience if you are after a certain piece or a certain order. And yes, you can rotate the piece between clicks to get a different orientation. Otherwise they function just the way any default PedMall functions. See the additional screenshots for some impressions. DEVELOPER NOTES All items of this set come with the Maxis Default base texture ('white'), but can be treated with your favorite sidewalk mod - like the image above shows them with my 'Sandstone Mod'. The items are all numbered (an enclosed image shows the numbers of the park pieces) - so for any you do not wish to use, just remove the corresponding DAT file from the folder. ! More important information in the ReadMe ! CREDITS Kudos to Moonlight-san who wrote the actual Mod and made this pack possible. Thank you so much! We all had a party when PegProd gave us a megapack of statue props... and we all wondered ever since how we're going to bring all these statues (40+!) into our game - without filling the Parks menu with parks exclusively... Well - here is the solution... all the statues on just four lots! So how does this work? The lots are just tiny 1x1 parks that fit anywhere... Want a funny statue beside a parkinglot? Plop one of the 'Mixed' set... out comes Homer. Don't like him? Just bulldoze and plop again - out comes The Pink Flamingo... and so on, bulldoze and plop until you hit just the statue you want. Now don't worry - this is not gonna drive you into bankruptcy. I intentionally made them very cheap to plop (5$) and to bulldoze (1$)... and the final plop will cost you a small monthly fee (5$). In return they give a much reduced positive effect only, about half that of an ordinary grass tile... (Landmark/Park - yes, they work for RES and COM). There are four lots with different themes - you can install one or two or all lots (see the corresponding dependencies), just as you want or need it. Lot 1 - Classical Statues From Venus to Angels to Beethoven... (9 models) Lot 2 - Marine Statues All those Sharks and Orcas and Merlins... (9 models) Lot 3 - Dinosaur Statues From Tyrannosaurus King to the genius hunter Velociraptor... (17 models) Lot 4 - Mixed Statues Winged Horses, Dragons, Homer, The Pink Flamingo - they're all here.... (8 models) DEPENDENCIES * Needed for Lot 1: PEG Classics *Needed for Lot 3: PEGRASSIC PARK * Needed for Lots 2 and 4: PEG Statue Collection 01 * Base textures for all lots: PEG MTP SUPER RESOURCE PACK Enjoy!

This time around I did not make fixed size parks - instead I give you a set of parkways that create a park on their own as they wind through any landscape or cityscape you choose, adding lots of color and fresh air to your setting. The set comes complete with narrow and wide paths, diagonals, narrow-to-wide-transitions and a lot of extras (extensions). Since that means a lot of lots *grin*, I packaged them into different groups - so you have them all in one download, but can decide which groups you want to use (or not). These are the groups and their components: * Basic paths (all 1x1) - straight, curves, tee, cross, straight w/ plaza * Wide paths (all 1x1) - straight, straight w/ connectors to narrow (tee and cross) - transitions straight-to-narrow (tee and cross) * Diagonal paths (2x1, 1x1) - straight to diagonal (left and right) - single diagonal, diagonal to straight connectors * Path Ends (all 1x1) - Giftshop, Kiosk, Restrooms, Wishing Well, Playground * Entrances (3x1, 3x2) - with and without parking * Extensions (1x3, 2x2, 3x3) - ParkHotel, Aristocrat Inn, Coffeeshop, Restaurant, Supermarket * Fillers (1x1) - seasonal trees, plain grass In the readme you'll find a fullsize image showing the various groups. The set uses a lot of seasonal trees - be patient, they'll appear within the first year after plopping :-) To see the WSP in 'action' and with fullsize images, please visit this CJ: https://www.simtropolis.com/cityjournals/?p=view&id=693&page=26 ------------------------------ DEPENDENCIES ------------------------------ * Paeng Texturepack vol 01 https://www.simtropolis.com/STEX/details.cfm?id=22823 * BSC MEGA Props - D66 Vol02.dat https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=556 * PorkieProps-Vol1.dat https://www.simtropolis.com/STEX/index.cfm?id=11421 * PorkieProps-Vol2.dat https://www.simtropolis.com/STEX/index.cfm?id=11420 -------------- Notice: The orientation-arrows during plopping come from: * SFBT_ArkenbergeJoe_Props.dat which is part of the SFBT-Essentials: https://www.simtropolis.com/STEX/details.cfm?id=14212 -------------- Every lots has the usual park-benefits and costs a small monthly fee. Tired of square parks? Then this set is for you! Not only does it offer five different park-layouts, it gives you additional pieces to shape your parks in many different ways. At first plop the gardens look - well, green ... just wait for spring :-) and the explosion of bright and happy colors! Parks --------- 7x5 - The Three Pavillions 5x1 - Ancient Temple Ruins 3x2 - Bronze Vases with Palms 3x2 - Small Pavillion with Japanese Trees 3x1 - European-style Fountain These lots have various entrance-/exit-slots to connect either wide or narrow paths. Paths --------- 1x1 straight fancy - uncluttered, and with pretty lampposts 1x1 straight | 1x2 straight |- flowerbeds, benches, parklights etc. 1x3 straight | three sizes for more variety and faster plopping 1x1 tee 1x1 curve 1x1 cross 1x1 path-end 1x1 narrow-to-wide-path transition This last piece helps to create some open spaces and to integrate the actual park-modules in such a way that their shape is totally obscured. Actually you could make a module even appear to go 'around the corner'... Play around with it, you'll find it to be quite versatile! Fillers ---------- 1x1 filler with random trees (rotate for even more randomness) 1x1 base texture with random crowds To see all these lots 'in action' and large images, visit my CJ: https://www.simtropolis.com/cityjournals/index.cfm?p=view&id=693&page=21 --------------------- DEPENDENCIES --------------------- Well, beauty has a price ;o)) But again, I used packs that are widely used, so most probably you have them anyway. * BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01.dat https://www.simtropolis.com/STEX/details.cfm?id=15287&download=1 * BSC Textures Vol 01.dat https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=90 * BSC MEGA Props - swi21 Vol01.dat https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=403 -------------- Notice: The orientation-arrows during plopping come from: * BSC_ParkFeatures.dat which is usually included with any BSC-Park, for example here: https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=283 If you use BSC-Parks, you shouldn't need to worry about it. -------------- Every lots has the usual park-benefits. The park-pieces cost a small monthly fee, the path-pieces are maintenance free (no monthly cost). They are located in the 'Parks'-menue and have custom icons. All pieces are in separate files, so you can delete any you do not wish to use. Thanks to everybody making resources available! Enjoy!

Inspired by the current wonderful hot summerdays here is a 5x5 $$$-park with cool blue ponds on a red brick base and everchanging flowers and bloomimg shrubs and trees. There are no special path-pieces for this park, as the texture is readily available with other sets, i.e. the BSC Parks and Paths. Oh, and I must say this - the small thumbnails don't do the lot any justice - it's much nicer ingame ;-) -------------------------------- Dependencies -------------------------------- I used two very basic files, which you most probably have: BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01 BSC Textures Vol 01 Enjoy :-)

Here are some additional pieces to make the yellow gardens more versatile. Included are the following: 4x4 $$$-park with a gazebo and different kinds of plants and flowers 3x2 $$$-park with loads of flowers 2x1 transition 1x1 endpiece with small memorial The 2x1 transition ends in a somewhat neutral base texture, so you can easily connect any kind of different park set or paths you might be using (see screenshot). -------------------------------- Dependencies -------------------------------- Same as the main set: BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01 BSC Textures Vol 01 All pieces are in separate files, so you can delete any you do not wish to use. Enjoy :-)

Parks and Gardens add a lot of color to any city, so I figure one can't have too much variety. Here is a little set with a sun-yellow base. The main lot is a 4x4 $$$-park with a fountain, benches, an icecream-vendor and some people wandering around, surrounded by hedges and rose beds. I chose that size because I always seem to miss it in my game, as most parks are 2x2, 3x3 and then continue at 5x5. In addition there are some optional pieces to make a path or extend the basic park: 1x1 straight 1x1 corner 1x1 t-section 1x1 cross-section 2x1 straight with playground 2x2 straight with snackbar offset to one side 1x1 endpiece with small zen garden 1x1 endpiece with koi pond The 1x1 straight is best plopped with alternating directions, to get a variation in placement of trees and lights (i.e. <- -> <- ->). Many of the props are families (trees, flowerbeds, people etc.), so you get some variation when plopping multiple pieces. I kept the pathways rather simple (few props), so they look well groomed, not cluttered or crowded. -------------------------------- BONUS -------------------------------- To get some balance, I included another lot - a 4x4 $-park for low wealth areas with lots of stuff like dilapidated and dismantled cars, some pipe-laying construction, a basketball game, quite a lot of garbage, graffitti billboards, mysterious luxury limousines appearing in the evening... Even if it is a pretty crummy place, the folks from the neighborhood are still happy to have it. There are no special path-pieces for this park, you can do those easily with any kind of industrial path or ped-tiles. -------------------------------- Dependencies -------------------------------- I used two very basic files, which you most probably have: BSC MEGA Props - SG Vol01 BSC Textures Vol 01 All pieces are in separate files, so you can delete any you do not wish to use. Enjoy :-)
