  1. Don Miguel's CSX Pier Mall

    Version 1.0.0

    336 Downloads

Please note as it was discussed under the PLEX support thread, and the permission of @Cyclone Boom this file has been uploaded on behalf of Don Miguel. It was not available anymore due to unknown and unfortunate circumstances. All the works in this download were created by @Don Miguel. This is a 7x4 Reward lot, which uses mainly Maxis props and custom textures made by Don Miguel which are built into the LOT file. Dependencies: CSX MEGA Props - Vol06 BSC Textures Vol 01 Buildings as Props (I kept 2 text files (readme and a declaration for the CSX team, that they can use this file) which were originally in the *.zip what I found.) Have fun, enjoy! - Tyberius06
  2. Hey, so I have installed the SNM Navy Base Set to build a naval base in one of my towns. I have installed all the dependencies twice now, but unfortunately pieces of wharf are missing in my game. This is what it looks like. As you can see, pieces of the wharf are missing and containers and the like are just floating in air. Now among the dependencies of this mod, there is the SNM Navy LHA Dock. Among the dependencies of that is this file which has been " superceded by BSC MEGA Props RT Vol04". According to the comments, the new file is still missing some parts of the old file, but the old file was locked by the administrators. Could this be the cause for the missing pieces? I hope someone with more knowledge than me can help me out there.
  3. Hello everyone and welcome to a Cities: Skylines Tutorial video! In this Cities: Skylines Tutorial video, we will be taking a look at building a custom Pier in game! Personally, I would say that this type of Pier is superior to using the quays. So, what are you waiting for? Give this a try!

  8. Bastion, Arcadia's coastal metropolis

Hello there and welcome to my very first CJ! First of all I'd like to say that this modding community is simply amazing, the detail and amount of work that every single person does to create their own cities and mods is simply astonishing and I'm glad to be here. So without further delay let's get to it. Bastion, Arcadia's capitol, spans south of the region, bordering it's beautiful coasts that spans as far as the eyes can see, due to it's specific location, Bastion is the main transportation hub of the region in which transportation hubs intertwine to deliver and collect resources from other cities. Due to this, Bastion has developed into a sprawling metropolis with a heavy hand in the trading industry, everything from foodstuffs, to electronics and cosmetics all travel through this busy metropolis. Here we can see the towering skyscrapers that loom over the city, the views within these very buildings are astonishing, at one side you can see the beautiful boardwalk and coast and on the other you can see the city for miles, due to this, a ferris wheel was contructed not long ago to make use of these gorgeous views for entertainment and tourists alike as many people flood the streets to enjoy the nightlife, generating a nice traffic flow to enjoy sightseeing before heading towards the Indoor Market located just south of it. Above is the Indoor Market, where hundreds of shops sprawl inside of this building, divided into 2 wings, one side containing a farmer's market and food court to enjoy delicacies within the region, and the other containing popular clothing stores and electronics stores. Here we can see the highway that crosses through the city, the heavy flow of traffic has forced the city to build multiple tunnels and leadways that intersect each other to help out bottleneck avenues that are flooded with traffic. And the final photo for today, the highway leading into and out of Bastion, sprawling towers greeting you as you enter, giving you a feel for what's to come.

This RCI Boardwalk Pier Filler Lots are for those of you who have figured out that you can do a lot more with the new RCI Boardwalks lots... then just make Boardwalks. Beyond making causeways and wrapping peninsulas, you can also plop the RCI Boardwalks out fully in the water... and make piers and islands that... admitted serve no functional purpose... but can be fun to make and nice to look at. The only missing element was these single-tile wide filler lots to plop down the middle of your pier or to act as filler for an island. But now, with these filler lots installed, you can easily turn any open water area into a massive hazard to navigation. This package contains 6 filler lots for you to get creative with... all of which appear in the Water Transportation menu directly under the normal RCI Boardwalk lots. Most of the filler lots have no maintenance costs or any park-like properties... as they are essentially just eye-candy. From left to right, as viewed in the above screen shot, the included lots are: 1. The 2x1 Pier Head Lot. Provides a formal entrance to your pier area... complete with pretzel stand a nite-lit tree planter. This is the only lot in this collection that plops on the coastal tile like the other RCI Boardwalk lots. It also has park & landmark properties to represent the entire pier. 2. The 2x1 Filler Lot featuring 2 planters with large ferns. 3. The 1x1 Restroom Lot. Because its a long walk back to shore. 4. The 1x1 Filler Lot. Simple, with a single lamp post to illuiminate its simplicity at night. 5. The 1x1 Snack Bar Lot. Hotdogs, Hamburgers and the ever-popular Smelt-on-a-Stick. Or as the locals refer to it.. "Bait!! Yummy!! 6. The 1x1 Picnic Area Lot. Most people think the umbrellas are for shade. But if you've ever tried to eat around a lot of seagulls, you know better. If you don't remember putting Ranch Dressing on your fries... you probably didn't. For help creating the perfect terrain for CDK lots, we strongly recommend reading The Official CDK Tutorial. ** This lot requires the PEG-OWW2 Resource Pack 1 All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.

The CDK3-SP Pier Seaport harkens to the old days of previous SimCity versions where you could zone seaports as large or small as you wished. Although there is no zoning involved here, the Pier Seaport does allow you to visually create a seaport lot that is as large, or long, as you like. The Pier Seaport uses the CDK3-SP Pier One collection of lots. A copy of the base lot has been added that has been modified into a functional seaport lot. This will allow you to create new seaport lots of any length and/or upgrade existing Pier One complexes into functional seaports by simply replacing the base lots. The Pier Seaport has the same capacities and costs of a normal seaport. However, it is much smaller at only 4x5 (4x3 land tiles) which makes it ideal for locations with limited space. The Pier Seaport also does not support a functional rail connection so its even easier to fit into tight spaces and convert existing Pier One complexes into seaports. The lot is fully compatible with all CDK3-SP lots. This is an "additional seaport" and does not replace any existing version. IMPORTANT This seaport lot uses the PEG-CDK3-SP Master Seaport Controller and can not be used with the BSC seaport controller, or any other seaport mod or controller... or any seaport lot not currently supported by the PEG Master Seaport Controller. Please read the included readme file for full details. * The lot is transit enabled for road connections to the driveways and a rail connection . The lot must have road access in order to function properly but the driveways do not actually have to be connected. ** The lot is located in the Water Transportation menu. ** This lot requires the following CDK3 dependency files: PEG-CDK3-SP Pier One PEG-CDK3-SP Master Seaport Controller PEG-CDK3 SUPER PAK PEG-CDK3-SP SEAPORT SUPER PAK PEG Security Fencing Kit All Pegasus files are now legacy content and are no longer officially supported - however support from the wider community can be requested here.

All piers are a tourist magnet but a pier with a large arcade is a tourism bonanza just waiting to happen. And so, without further ado... we give you the PierSet Penny Arcade !! Although difficult to see from the outside, the inside of the Arcade building is stacked to the rafters with games and various other attractions including the latest video games as well as the prerequisite classics Gopher Stomp, Pinball, The Fortune Teller and, of course... SkeeBall. Everything you need to lose yourself (and your money) for several hours of mind-numbing fun is here and awaiting your coinage. The Arcade sits atop a 3x3 4-way Pier Set lot so it can be used as a central hub of an extended pier complex. For the more traditional straight pier, the sides can be used as short "wings" of the pier by using the 1x End or 1x Boat Dock pier sections. The lot is extensive nite-lited and uses several, timed custom props to make it appear more active. As a 100% water lot, its functionality is of course limited and the lot is primarily eye-candy. Still, it does offer a notable amount of park and landmark properties (similar to a large park) that can benefit nearby development. The closer to shore that the lot is plopped the greater that benefit will be. * All of the modular Pier Set lots are parks... affordably priced with reduced park & landmark effects to avoid blowing over demand caps They are located only in the Water Transportation menu, directly below the other OWW2 lots. ** This lot requires the following dependencies PEG-CDKM Marina PEG-OWW2 Resource Pack 1 PEG-OWW2 PierSet Pier House. This ploppable CS$$ OWW2 lot adds an extra bit of realism along your Boardwalks by depicting a common sight along most real-world developed coastlines. Fishermen!! The Fisherman Pier lot includes a short fishing pier and a small complex of related shops that provides almost everything your Sim Anglers could need to enjoy a relaxing day of coastal fishing. Its all there... the prerequisite giftshop, the bait & tackle store and, of course, the bar where tales of the one that got away get longer & bigger with each round. This 3x3 ploppable is a CS$$ lot with about 25 or so jobs. It features a central transit-enabled driveway for more realistic connections to adjacent roads... and uses new upgraded parking lot textures for added realism. * As the lot provides jobs, it must have road access. The lot is compatible with all OWW2 collections and is extensively nite lited. It also features a custom query with unique stats driven by conditions within your city. For help creating the perfect terrain for CDK lots, we strongly recommend reading The Official CDK Tutorial. ** This lot requires the following dependencies PEG-CDKM Marina PEG-OWW2 Resource Pack 1 PEG-OWW2 Resource Pack 2. As Mayor, you have done such a fine job that the Navy is just tickled pink (well... grey, actually) and is looking at your city as the ideal location to build a base for their reserve squadron of destroyers. These old "Greyhounds of the Sea" may be a tad long in the tooth but they are still a vital part of our maritime defense strategy. Like their namesakes, they may be a bit old but they are well maintained, very hardy and just as functional & productive as the day they slid down the ways. This Navy Reserve Center is the 3rd in the Navy Base chain of conditional rewards with each subsequent base requiring just a bit more of your mayoral skills. It has features and properties similar to the first 2 Naval bases and fits on a 8x4 tile lot. It is transit enabled & a moderate polluter... but provides jobs to civilian workers as well as income to the city each month. It's designed to be compatible with the CDK but can be used separately. Using the new CDKN building methodology that is utilized by all new naval facilities, this third Navy Pier brings the base to life with new buildings and dockside props and personnel that shuffle & change throughout the day. The two piers are actual a single base model utilizing separate "veneer" models to provide different cargo & personnel details on each pier. Each subsequent base will require a little more mayoral effort and city development before becoming available. This base requires a city population of over 30,000, a mayor rating of 45+, Seaport usage over 75, a city that is at least 17% water (still notably less than the requirement for the Marina)... or completion of the good Fishing Boat Mission. The lot's dynamic icon info lists these requirements as well as the current levels of each requirement so you can see how close you are getting. **This file currently contains an .exe installer suitable for windows users. The Navy likes it so much here, that they have decided to expand their port to include a new AEGIS Command Center. This new pier will be home to the most awesome and sophisticated vessels ever to sail in Harm's Way. Imagine a destroyer the size of a WWII cruiser... and packing more firepower than a battleship. Match that up with the AEGIS weapons and defense system that is so TOP SECRET, that if we said anything more, we'd have to kill you. And considering how many downloads this lot will get, that would get rather messy! This is an all new Naval Base with features and properties similar to the Navy Pier One lot. Its designed to be compatible with the CDK but can be used separately. As with the Navy Pier One lot, it is a conditional reward with slightly higher requirements. Its transit enabled, a moderate polluter... but provides jobs to civilian workers as well as income to the city each month. Using the new CDKN building methodology that is utilized by all new naval facilities, this second Navy Pier brings the base to life with new buildings and dockside props and personnel that shuffle & change throughout the day. The ship also deploys throughout the year so don't be surprised when you notice its gone. Don't worry... its a stout ship. It will be back... Each subsequent base will require a little more mayoral effort and city development before becoming available. This base requires a city population of over 20,000, a mayor rating of 45+, Seaport usage over 75, a city that is at least 15% water (still notably less than the requirement for the Marina)... or completion of the good Fishing Boat Mission. The original PEG naval facilities are back!! This initial offering features an all-new Battleship naval facility that has been re-worked from the ocean floor up... and offers a zillion new props and features. This new base establishes a completely new lot building methodology (CDKN) that will be incorporated into all subsequent naval facilities as well as all new CDK lots. For starters, this new base (Navy Pier One) is a conditional reward... like the game's army and air force bases. Each subsequent base will require a little more mayoral effort and city development before becoming available. This base requires a city population of over 30,000, a mayor rating of 45+, Seaport usage over 50, a city that is at least 10% water (notably less than the requirement for the Marina)... or completion of the good Fishing Boat Mission. The lot's dynamic icon info lists these requirements as well as the current levels of each requirement so you can see how close you are getting.. **This file currently contains an .exe installer suitable for windows users.
