    Hi everybody! Thanks for downloading Stavanger, Norway. This is a 48 x 64 km real scale map. I made it using VTBuilder and edited it with Gimp to correct some image quality export mistakes. Feel free to improve it if you want. It's not a perfect map but very approach to a real one. INFORMATION: This download is compatible with SimCity4 RH or Deluxe and Wouanagaine's SC4Mapper. DEPENDENCIES: Please ensure you have SC4Mapper installed on one's computer. INSTALLATION: 1. Unzip this file. 2. Start SC4Mapper and click 'Create Region'. 3. Choose SC4M from the dialogue. 4. Navigate to the unzipped folder and select the map file Stavanger_48x64.SC4M. 5. Click 'Save Region', name it and click 'Ok'. 6. Close SC4Mapper. 7. Start SC4 and load the new region. *The colours of the region in SC4 will be the same colours as SC4Mapper until you enter and save each city tile. But you have the choice to do it as you go and not right away. 8. Create your masterpiece. *NOTE: During the region view some tiles won't show correctly if you select Transportation map. Please, select Satellite view to see all the tiles. UNINSTALLING: Remove the folder and all it's contents from the SimCity 4 region directory in 'My Documents' DISCLAIMER: The use of this download is at your own risk.     Time for another map! This time, it's Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway (for SimCity 4). At a latitude of 78' 12'N, Longyearbyen is known for being the world's northernmost settlement with a population of over 1,000. It is located on the archipelago of Svalbard, which is under treaty status administered by Norway. Generally, any citizen of any signatory country may live and work on Svalbard provided they meet minimum income requirements and have arranged housing. Because of its extreme northern location, Longyearbyen experiences "polar night" for 111 days between late October and mid-February, during which time the sun never rises. After a brief period between mid-February and mid-April, Longyearbyen then experiences "midnight sun" for 127 days from mid-April to late August, during which time the sun never sets. There is also not a tree in sight on Svalbard. The map is 20 x 24 large city tiles and is accurately scaled based on DEM data. It includes Longyearbyen, Barentsburg (a Russian settlement) and Pyramiden, a ghost town and abandoned Soviet coal mine.     Stave churches like this date back to the Middle Ages and could at one point be found all across Scandinavia. Today they mostly survive in Norway (when they're not being set on fire that is). This 5x5 lot functions as a museum in the game. A special thanks to @Barroco Hispano for creating such a wonderful model!     This download contains lots for three different supermarket franchises from Scandinavian countries: Joker (growable 3x2 and 4x2) Kiwi (ploppable monument 3x2) and REMA 1000 (growable 3x2). The latter two lots are meant for more urban environments and as such do only come with a parking lot for bikes . All lots feature 32 CS$$ jobs. I created these for my own towns and cities, but hopefully someone else will find them useful as well.     Another old BLaM release I wanted to touch up on. Based on a real school building in my hometown - Haugesund, Norway. Using the same name. I wasn't quite happy with the old model, the windows were too dark, I made the wall textures a little too plain, etc. One of the main issues were that the dark windows blended into the red window frames, making the entire window look burgundy. Ew. it was also infamous for having an immortal building bug, meaning it couldn't be demolished properly, even if you tried. The game screams for more urban schools. So here's my second attempt, more details, and more of an effort to make it fit with the Maxis buildings. Even with the graininess everything from maxis tends to have. Comes in two variants, elementary school, and a high school.     This is a retexture and slight rescale of my old Norwegian House Set 2, released back in 2006 under the BLaM team label. While I wanted them to be colourful then, they turned out a bit too saturated for the game. This time around they should look better. The houses are based on typical mass produced houses you'd find in Norway (Probably Sweden too) during the 1990s and 2000s. They come in a range of colours, 14 in total. The default is a primary colour, with white frames. Other variants have a base colour with a different colour on the window frames, etc. The colours are: All white Red Yellow Green Blue Orange Olive green Purple Pink, Brown with green frames White with red frames White with blue frames Yellow with green frames Dark Grey with Dark Grey frames. There are two types included, R$$ and R$ - We chose to include these, since the game needs more R$ that doesn't look decayed or overly poor. Just like real life, families with lower income can also afford these. They live comfortably, but usually with somewhat simpler landscaping outside the house. Stats: - 3 R$$ lots: 1x2 (stage 4), 1x3 (stage 3), 2x1 (stage 4) - 18 residents - 3 R$ lots: 1x2 (stage 4), 1x3 (stage 3), 2x1 (stage 3) - 30 residents All grow within the Euro tileset. R$$: Consumes 2 units of power/water R$: Consumes 1 units of power/water R$: 1 air, 1 water, 4 garbage, 0 radiation R$$: 1 air, 1 water, 4 garbage, 0 radiation Install instructions: Place the files/folder into mydocuments/simcity4/plugins I recommend just simply placing the "Glenni" folder as it is in your plugins folder. That way you can easily organise my content. As these are GMAX renders, there is no Darknite version. There are extra images in the archive, no need to keep these if you don't wish to do so. Dependencies: None. Custom trees and parked cars visible in the screenshots are from override mods on existing maxis props in my game. without these, the props will just simply be default props within maxis prop families.     Godthab is the capital and most populous city of Sverland (an European Union member country located in far north Scandinavia above the Arctic Circle). Approximately 475,000 people live in the urban area of Godthab which stretches across 18 islands where Hammeralven (Hammer River) flows into the Baltic Sea. The area has been settled since the pre-Stone Age, in the 7th Century BCE, and was founded as a city in 1226 by a Swedish merchant. The original city was Gotaab before the settlement was relocated to the current area in the late 1300s (now named as Gamla Stan). In the mid-1800s, Nystad (New Town) was developed and quickly became the commercial and office centre of the Godthab region. Godthab is now the cultural, academic, media, political and economic centre of Sverland. The Godthab metropolitan region alone accounts for over a half of the country's GDP and is among the top 15 regions in Europe by GDP per capita. Godthab has been ranked as a beta-global city and is the fourth largest city in Scandinavia. Jonkoping (a business district) is one of the main financial and corporate centres in Europe. Godthab is the seat of Sverlandic Government, Sverlands Riksdag (Parliament), and is home to the highest judiciaries in the country. Also located in the city, Godthabs Universitet is ranked in the world's top 60. Although the official language is Sverlandic which is a combination of Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian, English is commonly used as a second language.     Somewhat inspired by a real-life village on the island of Langøya in Norway. It's a fishing village that is lined with many marina piers. With a population of 9,482 (2,086 in real life (according to Google)) it's basically the capital of Øksnes (which is a municipality in Nordland county, Norway (according to Google)). marinas in myre Although there are a few beachy areas in Myre, its probably way to cold to actually go swimming, and I just enjoying making beaches with MMP's. beach in myre It's not exactly spot on, especially cause Myre in real life expands out North, due to how I terraformed the area, my city expands out east. myre in SimCity 4myre in real life I might do two more of these, I don't know.

    Extra varieties of the police cars and vans I've made. There is a Norwegian (N), Swedish (S), British (GB) and a Belgian (B) version available. And offcourse the Dutch version which already was available and found in my earlier uploads. Replaces the Maxis police car and van. Installing the additional prop replacement file from dependency 2 will also change the static props of the police cars in game. These are reskins of Mikeseith's Volvo V70 and Swamper77's euro emergency van model.     This is a remake of the old Radisson SAS Oslo Plaza model i released a few years ago. I cut a lot of the base, giving it a much more compact look ( not that i ever really liked Galleri Oslo which is a mall attached to this in real life), though it's still a quite large skyscraper footprint wise, as it is in real life. As the real one it has 37 floors, functions as a hotel for the Raddison BLU hotel chain. Upon completion and to this day it remains the tallest building in Oslo and Norway. It's still a GMAX BAT, so there's no fancy reflections like you'd get in 3dsmax, but i tried giving it a decent city reflection texture, without it being too noticeable, so that it may blend in in most settings. Stats: LM, functions like most landmarks, nothing much to say there, no jobs. 6x3 lot CS$$: Has 1700 occupants, if downgraded to CS$ it's 2000, stage 5 growable, sits on a 6x3 lot. Water consumed is 6. Power consumed is 6. Dependencies: Porkie props Vol 1 Enjoy.

    G'Day Simtropians, Today's map is another request courtesy of Etorsen, I rummaged around in my old map box and found a copy lying there doing nothing so I thought I'd put it to good use. Ålesund is a small city that lies on the west coast Norway amongst that beautiful and rugged fjord country they are famous for. Thanks Etorsen for another wonderful place to map. With plenty of mountain sim country there is also plenty of country for the flatlanders, really another with the lot! See this map up CLOSE and personal. This is a real world map and measures 45.056km x 45.056km. Made with dem and satellite data and a dash of scenic beauty it is terrain and scale accurate. Utilising 16bit mapping techniques, it's in .SC4M format and requires Wouanagaine's mapper or terraformer to import. In the download one will find the map, a config, a pic and the readme.     Reworked February 2018: Please demolish existing versions in your city, and delete your old version from your plugins folder. The Transit enabling switches were also updated. This is a quickie, basically modeled in just a few minutes, a recreation of the remaining concrete bus sheds from my city Haugesund, Norway in the 70's. I've always sort of liked these, so I wanted to put them in the game. Stats: Works like any bus stop Power: 1 Capacity: 15000 Street 20 000 Road Plop cost roughly 600.     Haaland's Butcher Shop is situated in the pedestrian street Haraldsgaten in my hometown, Haugesund, Norway. It was originally built in 1889, but the old one burnt down, so this current one is just from 1998. It's a pretty close reconstruction of the old one, minus that it has one extra floor. It's got a good reputation in my town for selling very high quality meat, and Finn Haaland did always greet with you with a smile, alwaus service minded, and gave free pancakes for the kids(and those pancakes were gooooood!!!!!). That's is sadly over now, as he just recently passed away...     Sorhauggaten 129 (Sørhauggaten 129) is a recreated building from the centre of my hometown Haugesund, it was built in 1907. As well as recreating it as it is. With White paint on the wooden walls, and black paint on the trims and frames, i also made four other colour variations Blue,green,red and yellow. The building sits on a 2x1 lot (1 tile wide, 2 tiles deep) and each time it grows, it gets a different model. I have made some colour variations and the lot uses a family so each time it builds it has a chance of being one of 5 colours. I tried to make the colours not stand out as much as the last set, but i couldn't completely de-saturate it either. Besides, houses here can actually get such bright paint colours...
