Two Dutch farms from the north of the country. One from the province of Friesland, one from the province of Groningen. These models are two generic recreations of the farm types. The Frisian one (second picture) is called a head-neck-torso type farm, dating from the 17th or 18th century. The reed roof is meant as isolation, keeping the animals warm in the winter and cool in the summer. The decorations at the top of roof of the barn are called owl-boards. There is a hole in its centre where an owl could nest. Owls were usefull to the farmer, hunting small pests like mice. The ground floor of the house is slightly elevated, probably to keep dry feet in case of a spring tide. The one from Groningen (3rd picture) is slightly more modern, from the 19th century. It's called an Oldambt-farm, named after the area where they are from. Farming was a profitable business in those days. Both farms were status symbols aswell, showing-off the succes of the farmer. They are both still commonly found thoughout the provinces and most buildings have a monument status. Being outdated or too expensive to maintain for modern farming use, quite a few have been turned into large homes. The buildings function in-game as regular farms, growing randomly on I-a. It has nightlights, it's up to you to choose either the default Maxis version, or the Dark night one. Rendering is in HD. Dependencies: BSC MEGA Props CP Vol01 https://www.sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1180 BNL Essentials https://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/28639-bnl-essentials/ Installation: Put the files in the zip in your plugins folder. It works well in game. It's easy to connect to your RHW and looks pretty good. With my plugins set it uses different lights, probably from a newer version of the LRM. A little bit too many dependencies though and I can't really tell where they all went. But on the hole a pretty ok download. I'm happy with it, thanks

This is a Dutch themed prop pack. About 100 props, including colour variations and diagonals. You can give your lots or modds a Dutch theme with these. Various stuff like trash cans, paid-parking machines, glass recycle containers and phone booths. I guess the pictures speak for themselves. I intended them to be used in shopping centres, parks, plaza's, parkings, highways, roads, street-modds, busstops, bicycle-paths, rest-area's or residential-lots. Maybe you will even find a different use for them. All models are made by me, and all are in HD. Only a couple of decals are from the internet. Dependencies: None, this is a proppack and can be used as a dependency itself. Installation: Just copy the Was_NL_Props_Vol01.dat file to your plugins folder. For uninstalling, just delete the file again. This file is dorment in your plugins folder unless you explicitly start using it, by modding or lotting. Feel free to make lots or modds with these and upload your work. But there is no need to actually include this file, just list it as a dependency. Well, if anything is wrong with the files in the upload, just leave a comment here or PM me. For more info on my stuff you can also visit here: http://sc4devotion.c...p?topic=14229.0 *** version 1.1 has zoom 3 errors fixed. These errors affected 7 props *** Enjoy!- 9 Comments

Hi, first of all, great work this Bat4Max. I've used it many times now, it is great. But there is some bug I get on my laptop (with Win7 sp1): Sometimes the Group number of the TGI reference of the material in the s3d file get mixed up (see picture). For 8 of 16 s3d files this number is still the standard maxis 1abe787d. Eventhough all the FSH files themselves are inserted correctly, it shows a part of some maxis building in game in half of its rotation views. It already goes wrong in gmax, when making the empty sc4 model file. Only fix I've found is completely start a new scene, import things, aply materials again and start exporting again also. Do you know what's going on? Or should I just learn to live with it. Maybe you can help me. Thanks and Gr, Wouter.
