Hello Simtropolis! Ceafus 88 here with another file to share with you guys! In this set, are 5 different lots, sporting 10 different colored buildings. There are 2 buildings to a lot, with the lot size being 1x2. They are R$, and will grow in medium to high density zoning. These are not based on a real building, I just used some pictures to get a general idea on a shape, then just sculpted from there with help from the wonderful BAT community. I intended to make these strictly for myself to use in a CJ, but I decided to share them with the community instead. Maxis Nite and Dark Night are included. Exported in SD. Dependencies: BSC MEGA Props CP Vol01 (v1.0) I hope you guys enjoy! -

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Featured in ME:TMW Episode #52 comes the makeshift, towering edifices of the lower wealth drell people. Constructed mostly out of raw and spare materials, these monstrosities began sprouting from the ground during economic hardship, and the loss of civil governments on the drell homeworld. As a response to the lack of housing, these towering slum arcologies were a resolution to housing problems, but were constructed by the poor, and not the well off. These arcologies will provide your low wealth sims with some sub-standard roofs over their heads. At least it's something. This BAT requires SimFox's DarkNite modd for maximum suitability to graphics: In-game demonstration There are three available lot variations, with the BAT accompanied by a series of slums at ground level. The excellently made slums at ground level are credited to Wallibuk. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Basic Lot information: Lot Size - 2x2 (all) Residential - Parks & Recreation Growth Stage - 3 (R$) Dependencies METMW: Prop Pack Alpha (1.1 or later) METMW: Cision Motors Skycars + Hover Pickup Truck Slum Set by Wallibuk SimFox Day and Nite Modd by SimFox Installation Unzip all contained files into your SC4 plugins folder. A copy of my house here in Haugesund, Norway. The proper recreation is the one which is slightly offwhite. I have made some colour variations and the lot uses a family so each time it builds it has a chance of being one of 5 colours. I tried to make the colours not stand out as much as the last set, but i couldn't completely de-saturate it either. Besides, houses here can actually get such bright paint colours... Here's all 5 in action. 1 2 Growable Version: Lot size: 1x2 Growth stage: 5 Occupants: R-$ : 59,R-$$ : 34 Bulldoze cost: §156 Worth: §851 Construction Time: 15 days Max. Origin of this building is unknown to me, i don't know which street it's on, or where in Oslo it is, it sure is unique though, got a large wall ad on one of the fire walls advertising for Freia Milk Chocolate. What also makes it a bit different from the other wall to wall buildings released on the STEX, is that it has no front doors at the facade, the entrance is actually located at it's back, shown in the image in the link a couple of lines down. In any case, it will add a splash of colour to your city. Here's some bigger images, if the STEX ones don't quite cut it for you. http://i80.photobucket.com/albums/j179/Glenni91/BAT%20pics/W2Wbuildingwithmural.jpg Growable Version: Lot size: 1 x 2 tiles Growth stage: 6 Occupants: R-$ : 126 Bulldoze cost: § 260 Worth: § 1712 Construction Time: 26 days Max. 6x6 Growable R$ Experimental Underground Community for 6433 Sims. Use of the Cobb Troglodyte Complex requires mayors with a sense of humor and a sense of adventure. The Troglodyte Complex is a massive underground experimental planned community for lower income sims. The residental units lie on many levels below ground level. Being an underground community, it takes advantage of geothermal energy for electricity and heat. It makes use of its roof space for solar power, and some limited food recycling and water treatment. The troglodyte complex draws its water supply directly from the water table. The complex attempts to blend with the land and city scape, rather than detract from the skyline like typical large, dark R$ towers. The Cobb Troglodyte Complex thrives on public transportation, so making nearby space for bus stops and rail lines is highly recommended. Hold the ctrl key to zone for 6x6. Zone for high density. LOT Statistics: GROWABLE R$ Occupants: 6433 Lot Size: 6x6 Growth Stage: stage 7 Zone Type: Dense residential Value: § 84500 Worth / Bulldoze Cost: § 1500 Flammability: 35 / Stage 4 Power consumed: 50 MWh/month Water consumed: 125 gallons/month Air pollution: 5 over 5 tiles Water pollution: 20 over 5 tiles Garbage generated: 12 tons/month The complex was created due to repeated requests for a R$ building. Since the Cobb Firm was unfamiliar with how to create one, they went with something experimental. (The original model was created for a 5x5, but the render seemed to have other ideas). This model could easily be adapted as an industrial building with the Lot editor. Big thanks to Tracker for my new logo for 2006. I hope you enjoy the Cobb Troglodyte Complex. Don't take it too seriously, and have fun! --COBB No Dependencies
