I looked up that distinctive brick building with Google Lens and landed on 109 N Main St (Claridge House Condominiums) in Memphis, Tennessee. This still looks like it comes from a flyover shot heading south along Main St between what are probably 170 N Main (Memphis Claim Agent building) on the left and 167 N Main (IRS building) on the right. The plaza and Main St areas have clearly changed a lot since the video was shot, so there's still the possibility that I could be wrong. If I'm wrong, let us know what video it was. Might help pinpoint it a little better. - R

Hi there! I was able to successfully extract both the last .zip file and this new one with no issues. We don't know anything about your system or the actual error code you're seeing, but as for me I'm on Windows 11 and I generally use WinRAR to extract files from Simtropolis. Never had a problem. I did try using Windows' built-in Extract function and still didn't have any trouble. Is it possible that the folder or drive you're trying to extract to is set to read-only or has some other security restriction on it? If you click "Hints about the error", does it give you anything actionable? Is your Internet connection decently stable? Is the file maybe getting flagged by antivirus? There are lots of things it could be. But since I didn't have any issues, I can't say with any kind of certainty that there's anything wrong with the zip file that PC could do anything to fix. R

That's quite the coffee meetup! Also, this reminds me that I've spent way too much time playing these car puzzle games...

This reminds me of the passage in Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman's Good Omens, which talks about London's M25: "...very few people on the face of the planet knew that the very shape of the M25 forms the sigil odegra in the language of the Black Priesthood of Ancient Mu, and means: “Hail the Great Beast, Devourer of Worlds.” The thousands of motorists who daily fume their way around its serpentine lengths have the same effect as water on a prayer wheel, grinding out an endless fog of low-grade evil to pollute the metaphysical atmosphere for scores of miles around."

I love the work you guys have done with the NAM! It's one of the things that keep me playing this old game. I do hope to see more diagonal love in future releases. I got the idea to try building a Y-interchange to branch off a highway bypass but ended up changing it to a T instead.

Well I'll be damned. Talk about missing what's right in front of your face. Thanks, CB and NYC!

Pardon the potential n00b question, but how are you switching between city and transport view? Are you removing it using the NAM installer? That seems like kind of an "atom bomb on an ant" approach, but I don't know enough about the NAM suite to figure out an easier way. Thanks, R
