Change the building's capacity with an editor (SC4Tool for exemple). Then, destroy the museum and replace it. Your problem should be resolved. -
Game closes when reconciling edges
wardlitell replied to Fanoboy's topic in SC4 Bugs & Technical Issues
I use both of them. In fact, i keep plugins I consider as essential in the program's plugins directory (Nam, RTMT, NWM,etc...) and I never had any problems because of it. -

The one where your plugins are. -
Why don't you reinstall the NAM with the good setting (standart in your case)?

Different mods for different cities. Is it possible?
wardlitell replied to Drengs's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Theoretically, Startup Manager allows you to create a different plugin profile for each city. Nevertheless, i'm agree that Startup Manager is not very practical. Mrbisonm's method is a lot better. Maybe I'm not very good at that, but I tried to use Startup Manager some time ago and I quickly gave it up. Impossible to make it work properly. Many plugins didn't appear in the game. -
Do you have the required dependency? :

Not 2,5 hours but 6 minutes, no more. So, if the important thing for you is realism.... -

Yes, there is. If you didn't keep it, install the RHW on your desktop (or anywhere elese), the readme should be in the new folder. Or look here : http://sc4devotion.c...cd4&topic=990.0 You should always keep different readme in a separated folder.

Old one but good one. And no dependencies.

Skipping the dirty/manufacturing/low-wealth commercial service phase
wardlitell replied to William Gates's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I don't think so. Even CO$$ and CO$$$ need educated R$ workers (with an EQ>100 for the CO$$ and >150 for the CO$$$), new arrivals R$ need low wealth jobs before being educated and it takes time. You can't override this mechanism. -
Why aren't sims using the RHW
wardlitell replied to thinboy66's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
" Hidepaths" or something like that. That's in the list. -
Is this the longest commute ever?

Did you drag a piece of road (or street) across the avenue (before the ramp) for giving your sims an access to the other side? -
Sim City textures arnt showing up! HELP!

I didn't notice it. Maybe props disappear when you name your city like that. -
Sim City textures arnt showing up! HELP!
wardlitell replied to toxic1456's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Textures themselves look ok but props are missing. Verify in your graphic options that 'city details' is setted on high. -
Also, you could give a try to the 'less abandonment' mod by Bones1. I use it, but it's not for every playing style. High wealth buildings become more difficult to get.

I personally use SC4tool as a database. It's easy to utilize and allows you to modify custom building's exemplars and properties. http://kurier.simcit...ls.php?file=314

Stage limit is a regional property. So yes, you should be able to get high density buildings in your new city if you've got the demand for. The relevant opposition is capacity vs population or occupancy. Capacity refers to the potential or maximum population a building can contain. Occupancy refers to its real or current population. As far as i know, stage limits only depends on capacity.

Maxis Airports - Just a Comment
wardlitell replied to A Nonny Moose's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I've just given a look to a city i recently played. The airport has 68500 passengers and the census repository indicate around 65000 CO jobs (for a total of 100000 jobs, no industry at all). The most of them (CO jobs i mean) are dispersed all over the city and not directly connected to the airport. This airport is of course reachable from any part of the city. The conclusion that i draw is that the Prima Guide sentence saying 'to get full demand cap relief from airports, lead the road that touches the airport to your commercial office zone' makes no sense. The player just need to connect airports to the rest of the city by a road. All CO jobs will be necessarily taken in account.
