  4. Are the NAM road (avenue etc) underpass pieces functional ingame? As one of my favorite NAM features, they look awesome and are quite handy in keeping a grid nice and uniform. Recently a UDI mission ended after I drove "through an underpass" and the traffic view has no colored path representing the underground section of road. Would that be because they are below the surface? Is there anyway to ensure their functionality? Thanks! Any and all replies are appreciated.

    I am using FLUPs, I have them passing under a large lot and not a road. Could that be the issue? I laid out a section of road in a cross pattern, placed my road underpass, demolished the cross road and then plopped my hospital. I experimented just now without a lot and got the same result. I really like them but I'm not into "eye candy" as it's called. A money cheat is enough in my opinion. I noticed some other FLUPs that state "under Ped Malls" and "transparent" something or the other. Could I be using the wrong piece? Help?!

    ....seems to be a conflict with this and your LW row house file #1 ...i removed this and the issue disappeared, shame ...i love this lot.
  12. I love row houses and the STEX has plenty of options that are amazing. While most of the top rated residential lots are growable only, many that show the plopable icon (the down arrow with a green bar) on the main page are nowhere to be found in the Mayor's Tools. I know that most lots except for the civic oriented are in the landmarks menu, is it possible I am looking in the wrong place? Here is a current lot that I have placed correctly (I think, all of my custom content is working) in my plugin file and while the listing and pop-up window show the plopable icon, it's nowhere to be found in my Mayor's Tools. https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=3331 Could it be that it's labeled wrong? I have no issue with growables other than they tend to overload a city with to many duplicates. The same issue with the game-loaded Maxis lots. Help Any and all replies are appreciated!

  17. Stop points at road-street intersections

    You probably already know this but... ...with streets you can install a stoplight by dragging a road out from the center one tile in all directions. It doesn't solve the problem but I think it looks better and it helps with traffic.

I've noticed with this Lot... https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=20023 - (NDEX ITS Terracotta Office Building Mark II) ...that the plopable version has a pollution level of Low while the growable checks in with a Medium level. I have some other plugins with the same stats. I was curious if this is common with all growables, do they have higher Air Pollution Levels? I've allways considered, at least MW and up, growables as a type of reward since my city must meet requirements to have the lot grow. Why would I punished, in a sense, for having a commercial lot grow instead of just ploping it in the perfect spot? Is the pollution level determined by my city stats? What else could affect the lot's polution stats? Does this seem fair to anyone? Thanks, any and all replies are appreciated.

  23. Hello, I'm having trouble determining which files to remove in certain plugins to remove (in this case) the growable version of a building. I love the hotel I added, however I don't want a dozen of them in my town, it just doesn't look right. Which files or file would I remove? The SC4DESC file "and" the coresonding SC4LOT file or just the growable? What part does the SC4MODEL file play? I assume it must be left in the folder?   25. Road-To-Terrain mod?

    I've yet to see one. The STEX has thousands of files so someone may be able to point it out if it does, in fact exist. I always do a quick save before I do any expensive terrain and / or slope modification. If it goes horribly wrong at least I can go back in time so to speak.
