  1. MGB Lot and Mod Shack

Having a small issue with these street/road intersections with the Appalachian TGN, they seem to be using Euro textures while I'm using the US set. I'm also using left-hand drive though I'm not entirely sure if that would affect these specific textures
  2. Can't find it?... Ask here!

definitely a bit newer but still nice, maybe I'll use them elsewhere in my region later these ones look pretty good too - I think I've got enough options now, thank you both!
  3. Can't find it?... Ask here!

thank you! simmer2's power plant looks especially nice, they've done some awesome industrial lots
  4. Can't find it?... Ask here!

has anyone done any slightly earlier (e.g. early to mid-1900s) power plants? ones in the same sort of vein as battersea power station
  5. Network Addon Mod - Tunnel and Slope Mod

is there any way to change how fast the construction speed is or remove it altogether? it's a relatively minor thing but I think x6 speed is a bit fast for me personally
  6. Network Addon Mod - Tunnel and Slope Mod

    very useful, many options
  7. CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF SimCity 4

Happy 20th anniversary to what's still one of the best city-builders out there! Can't wait to see where the next 20 will take us
  8. I'd like to note that more recent Nvidia graphics cards seem to have some issues around compatibility with SimCity 4 (as can be seen here and here), so using a wrapper is practically mandatory if you want a decent experience. I think it's something to do with DirectX, given that changing the DirectX settings in DGvoodoo solved it for me. I didn't know this when I got a laptop with a 3050Ti, so maybe don't get an Nvidia card if you don't want to use a wrapper
  9. It's a TEST Do NOT download it

I think I'm going to hell now at least I found the answer to life, the universe, and everything down here
  10. Show Us Your Anti-Grid!

Not exactly full grid-breaking, but placing parks in my neighbourhoods breaks up the monotony of the grid quite well, I think. I really like some of the grid-breaking you've done here, good job
  11. Introduce Yourself Here!

Hello, I'm fairly new to Simtropolis (apart from using it to get mods), but have made a few posts already. I've been playing SimCity 4 since I was a child and am now in my late teens, and I figured I might as well get involved in the community somewhat. I also play SimCity 3000 and 2013 in addition to other city-builders, as well as a range of other simulation/strategy games. Dunno what I'll do here yet. Maybe I'll start a city journal
  12. no problem, mate (even if all I did was leave one comment)
  13. Skyline Apartments

Very nice, reminds me of a few buildings in central Melbourne
  14. NAM General Support

Thanks @Tyberius06 and @rsc204 for answering, I think you've answered my question sufficiently
  15. NAM General Support

Would there be any way to replace textures for some road pieces, e.g. trams and FLUPS, to match SCILT sidewalk textures?
  16. Hello! I'm fairly new to this site, and just wanted to share something interesting with U-Drive-It. To my knowledge, this glitch hasn't been documented before (but don't quote me on that) Normally, you can't drive through any building in SimCity 4. Even if some of them consist mostly of lawns or carparks, the game treats them all as a solid object. However, if you were to drive alongside and try to continually steer into these lots, it's possible to enter them. From the times I've performed the glitch, it generally seems to happen at the corner between two tiles. After getting into one of these buildings, you can then drive into any other building through it. However, if you exit back into somewhere you're normally allowed to drive, you'll have to repeat the action performed the first time. This oddity seems somewhat random, as it doesn't happen every time you try driving into something. I believe it can be done with every car, but I haven't tested this yet. Also, sometimes the game does this other weird thing, where turning into a building allows you to come to an immediate stop, but releasing the button to turn sets you off at the speed you were going before. Below is a video I've uploaded to demonstrate this oddity.
  17. I had a similar problem, with the same graphical glitch occurring as @Pakistani890. I think this might be a universal issue with some of NVidia's newer cards in general, as I have a 3050Ti and the issue still happened. Using dgVoodoo I set it to use the Intel GPU like @rsc204 said, and the glitch went away. While this might not be optimal I'm just happy that SimCity 4 works again, so I'd recommend doing this
